Dr. Ji is a very good endodontist and her staff extremely kind. I had a root canal retreat. It went smoothly and without pain. Thank you!

Rude office staff. They continually had something nasty to say and insisted on arguing with me. I would not recommend this place to anyone. A simple procedure turned out to be stressful.

Professional, honest and painless. After almost three months of an extremely painful toothache I finally found out that I needed a root canal. Great! Everything I had ever heard about root canals was how extremely painful they were and that everyone dreads them. Accordingly, I was terrified too. I hate the dentist. The whole experience. Just getting my teeth cleaned gives me a headache for the rest of the day. Plus, I must admit, I am a bit of a wimp. I called around to several places before choosing South Metro Endodontics. They were able to work with my schedule, my insurance plan and my trepidation. Their office was clean, easy to find and had plenty of parking. The main reason that I'm writing this review is because of how PAINLESS the entire procedure was. It was incredible. They took some quick digital x-rays and got everything ready for the doctor. Along the way they explained exactly what it was they were doing, made sure I didn't have any questions and were very professional. The doctor used a topical anesthetic to numb the gum area and then apologized to me because I was going to feel a little "poke". I did. One small poke from the needle that was used to inject the Novocain. She then said that hopefully that would be the worst of it. Yeah right! Like that was going to be the worst pain I felt during a root canal. As if! Well, she was right. I didn't feel a thing. Nothing. Don't get me wrong, the drilling sensation, the smell of something burning (from my mouth?) are not things I'm a fan of, but there was NO pain. This from a self described wimp mind you. It was quick, it was easy and at the sake of repeating myself, it was painless. As I got ready to leave and pay my portion of the bill, I was informed that some of the information that I had provided them in regards to the services needed were incorrect. "I knew things was going along too smooth". The procedure was on an a smaller size tooth than I had told them, so my bill was LESS than they had quoted me. My jaw may or may not have dropped, I was too numb to tell. : ) Professional, honest and painless. I don't how you can top that. I hope I never ever need another root canal, but... if I do, I know where I'll be headed. Highly recommended!
