I couldn't be happier with Dr. Narang's practice! I met her shortly after she moved into her location, and a had a looooooot of work to do on a mouth that had gone without insurance (and thus care) for far too long. Add in poor dental genetics, and I was a hot mess... But, she took me in. We organized and made a plan. One step at a time, she did her best to help me be comfortable and healthy again! Thankfully, after all this work, I can say I'm well on my way! In just 3-4 months from now, I'll have my full smile back again. I trust her, and couldn't be happier!

She was very caring and considerate as she was working on me. Made sure I was not in pain and that I was comfortable. explained everything and what my insurance would cover prior to the procedures being done.

They were awesome. I was terrified and Dr. Narang made me feel so comfortable and got right to what I needed. Tamara was absolutely wonderful, so sweet, sensitive, patient, made me feel very at ease, plus she educated me on things that I didn't know that no other dentist offices never explained and she explained everything and didn't make me feel stupid....the other staff (I only met a few, were spot on too).

I went to South Main Dental for a consultation with Dr. Narang. My situation was complicated and I was feeling hopeless with having little knowledge of my options. I couldn't believe how quickly she moved forward to solve my problem. She was kind, compassionate, patient, and professional. I can't say enough praises for her and her staff. The dental assistants and the receptionists are exceptional as well. I highly recommend this dental establishment.

REPLY TO THE DENTIST'S REPLY TO MY REVIEW: First, I did not demand anything from you, I simply asked if you could squeeze me in, and thanked you profusely when you did. Second, I was not rude to the dentist, the staff, or anyone else. In fact, the dentist couldn't get the cap out after seeing if it was good fit, I did it myself. He (jokingly) said I should join the staff as a cap-removal specialist. No rudeness from him, and certainly none from me. If anyone was rude, it was you. Your "you left without paying for services rendered" was not a friendly reminder to pay, if, indeed I was told there was a payment due. And if I was told there was a charge I would have paid then. Again, I stopped at the front desk and asked what I owed and was told, nothing, you're good to go. Your staff lied to you. And I was not in a hurry. Third, the dentist who glued the cap back in did not perform an exam, he simple glued the cap in, which is all I expected him to do. Nobody said it was one you put in, it was an old one that I will be replacing as soon as possible since the re-glued one fell out after a week or two. It pains me to give a bad review, especially about a neighbor, but I feel I must. In a nutshell: Sloppy workmanship, no attention to detail, poor relations with patients. A few years ago I needed a tooth capped. Dr. Narang put the cap in and, thankfully, I looked in the mirror before the final gluing in. The color was an extremely bright white, and stuck out like a lightbulb (nobody's teeth are that shade of white). OMG, why did she even try to put this my mouth? She either didn't notice or didn't care. Did she think I wouldn't notice? This would be funny if it wasn't my tooth we're talking about, but it was. I said no way, order another one, which she reluctantly agreed to do. Fast forward a year or so later, while I am not in Ct, and it falls out. I go to a local dentist who glues it back in, no charge, a pleasant surprise. It falls out again, and again. According to my new, out of town dentist, it was never made right and now there is a cavity beneath it. So now, a cavity repair and a new cap. All that was a while ago, so now to recent developments. An old cap pops out while I am flossing (serves me right for flossing). I am now in Ct, call South Main to see if they can give me a quick appt. to glue it back in. I wouldn't go back there for actual dental work but figured this was a no brainer. They gave me an appt for around a week later. Dr Narang is a neighbor of mine, so I called to ask if she could squeeze me in and she did and I thanked her profusely. The gluing back in took 10 minutes at most. I stopped at the desk on my way out and asked how much I owe. The woman at the desk said "nothing, you're good to go." Not surprising since the out-of-town dentist also did not charge for gluing in a cap that had fallen out. A week or so later I get a text from Dr Narang stating "you left without paying for services rendered." Huh? Not the most diplomatic text, especially when talking to a neighbor, and also not true. I told her what had happened and told her to talk to the person at the desk. She said she was told that I just walked out, that I was in a hurry. Again, not true. Then she texts me that I owe $195! And that it was an emergency because I asked for a quicker appt. Really? How ridiculous. $195 for a drop of glue and a few minutes of time. I said I wanted a detailed bill. The bill I received said "glue on cap." I'm still waiting for details and how on earth they have the nerve to charge that much for "services rendered".

I'll fully admit I've never had luck with dentists. They've always been rude or not good with somebody who is literally terrified of the dentist amd anxiety attacks normally happen but today I had the best experience! I am definitely looking forward to going back in two weeks for my next appointment!!

Appointment was easy to make Staff was very informative, kind. Dentist assistant put music on while I waited for the dentist. Dentist talked to me to the procedure Options. Mine was an emergency . Option was to pull. Was given a local. No pain and the extraction was flawless. I highly recommend this business.

South Main Dental is wonderful!! Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing, but the staff at South Main Dental make me feel comfortable and relaxed everytime I visit.

Still have my bottom teeth to get realigned before they fit properly... but after that I would recommend this dentist with no issue. I Still have to fix my bottom dentures with my next appointment but it has been a very comfortable and caring environment and it was a very nice experience for me personally.
