I was born in Wildcat country, also known as central Kentucky in the city of Lexington. I moved to Charlotte in 2000, after surviving the 1999 Y2K fears. I didnt enjoy my electrical engineering major and decided to follow my dreams into some area of medicine/ healthcare and dentistry was the best fit for me.

Peter Pan was right when he said, there is always a child in us waiting for opportunities to get out. Regardless of age, size, education, or any other status; Fun awaits, discoveries entice, self-expression flows, and we want to be loved.

In my spare time I enjoy traveling to lah lah land searching and finding things to make me smile and laugh. I also like to invent words that ought to exist; like chocolicious is chocolate that is also delicious.

I strongly believe that everyone has at least one superhero power. God blesses us all with a special gift of ability or talent. It may be unseen by others and sometimes even hidden from us. Find the quality and power of the superhero in you!!

I was born in the bluegrass state of Kentucky; in Hopkinsville on an army base. I moved to Huntersville upon graduation in 2001. When I was little my favorite toy was a Play-Doh Drill-n-Fill and I carried it around with me all the time. When I made the choice to become a dentist I started working in general dentistry, then I soon started working with underprivileged children in clinics all around Charlotte. I became passionate about the oral health of children.

I was born in Ecuador, South America; my family and I moved to New York City in 1980. I started working in dentistry when I was 15 years old and continued to work in the dental field while attending college. Dental assisting has given me the opportunities to work in many different dental specialties, as well as having my own dental lab while living in California. I love working with children because it is so rewarding to see them smile!

I have been working at South Lake Pediatric Dentistry since May 2021, starting in the front desk area doing basic tasks to keep the area with a good flow and running smoothly. Now I am getting more into verifying insurance information and eligibilities for patients. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and my Father (+) used to travel a lot with IBM of Venezuela, all throughout North and South America, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil, among other countries. My parents decided to come to United States about 40 years ago. We first came to Miami, Florida from Venezuela, where I went to Miami-Dade Community College and I used to baby sit for many families to widen my already learned English language. I enjoy spending time with kids of all ages, because I learn a lot from them. As I grew wiser, I decided to move to Charlotte, NC over 18 years ago in search of being closer to Nature since I feel very connected with it. Also, I wanted to be more in the countryside than anything else in order to fulfill my dreams, since horses and cows are my favorite animals. I am very good with my hands and mind, which is why I really enjoy doing arts and crafts, playing different musical instruments, and working with plants. I also do meditation every day, especially Agnihotra. I enjoy reading and I still go to the public library and get paper books from it. I enjoy swimming every time that I have a chance, and even though I enjoy pools, I prefer to be in the ocean if I had a choice. I worked in the medical field when I was in Florida and in North Carolina for both, adults and children, and I value the family of South Lake Pediatric Dentistry since every member here is dedicated and considerate for the benefits of others, especially the patients. I like to help others and take care of people.

I was born in Norwich, Connecticut. My family and I moved to Florida and lived there for 24 years. I moved to the Charlotte area about eight years ago. I have always loved the dental field so I decided to pursue it in 2006 and I have enjoyed it thoroughly. I have always enjoyed working with children so when the opportunity came to work at South Lake Pediatric Dentistry, I was very pleased. I am an Accountant and I have been working for Dr. Frank and Dr. Tonya since 2010. I work in the business office and help with the Administrative work, Payroll, and Human Resources. I consider my job a blessing and give thanks to God every day for it. Even before I became part of the South Lake Pediatric Dentistry team, I made this office part of my family by entrusting the doctors with my daughters dental care. We had three foster children and Dr Frank gave them the best care, unfortunately just learned today that he doesn't accept Medicaid any longer (Nov 2022). Dr. Frank and his team are the rare competent professionals who can deliver the dental care children need without losing sight of the fact their patients are children. Their spirit of fun and joy helps reassure a nervous child and their fine attention to detail and procedures reassures the parent. If you take your children here, you can be confident they won't be scared of going to the dentist when they are adults. Highly recommended!

I have been bringing my daughter here for the last 5 years and always enjoyed the staff up until today. The dentist has always been in a good and jolly spirit. During todays visit he was very rough and angry. He told me my daughter teeth were good but she had a little tarter he wanted to remove. We let him do his job. After about 2 minutes of picking I notice 2 blood droppings on the floor. My daughter then told him it was becoming painful. He looked me in my face and said he's been doing the same thing for 2 minutes and she's LYING about the pain she was feeling. I told him do not dismiss her feelings and if she says it's starting to become painful or irritated then you treat her as such but to call her a liar and proceed to be rude and insult us is completely unacceptable. We will not return.

Frank is a lier and a con artist he will damage your kids teeth then throw the blame on you they over charge the insurance company for his dental hack work and how he will talk down and belittle your kids how he is allowed to practice is beyond me taking my kids to this place was one big mistake so if you care about your kids do them a favor and find them a real dentist and stay away from this place because this place is all about scamming you and the insurance company's out of thousands of dollars while they abuse your kids

Great with the kids. Always kind and professional, as well as firm when they need to be. My son had a pretty extensive treatment plan, and they executed it all gently, even when he was screaming. When he did well, they gave him a certificate and loads of gifts. It's a great experience.

I would definitely recommended this dentist to anyone with kids. It's so kid friendly and so inviting for the little ones. I use to take my kids elsewhere for their routine checkup. Everytime it was time for a dentist visit, my kids would be so scared and frighten to even get in my car bc they knew where we were heading. Until now. My daughter's gymnastics is down the road from the Southlake Pediatric Dentisty and she askes evertime to be dropped off at the dentist bc she loves it so much. That says a lot when kids look forward to going to the dentist. Even my 3 year old loves going to the dentist. The staff there are very gentle and welcoming. My kids especially loves the animal balloon they give out. If your looking for a dentist for your small children, LOOK NO FURTHER. You'll thank me. BTW, Dr. FRANK is AWESOME.

We've been going here for several years and have had good experiences up until recently. On two separate occasions in the past few months, they have called to cancel my kid's appointment due to an "emergency". It's already very hard for us to schedule during the week around two full time working parents' schedules plus my kid's school and camp schedule. When I was trying to reschedule, they also seem to be closed a lot. I don't know what the deal is lately, but it's not been a good experience, so found a new provider.

The front staff is very unprofessional . The manager Lisa is very rude and a lot of shady stuff going on with insurance claims there . The receptionist Elena and Natali have horrible customer skills . I have already filed a report with the medical board and filing an insurance fraud claim as well .

I had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dentist was funny and friendly but also firm when giving my son instructions for better dental hygiene. I will for sure bring my other kids to see him.

Dr. Frank is so great with my daughter! She's always nervous but he makes a stressful situation fun and funny. She totally relaxes and she always leaves the visit saying "I love Dr. Frank!"
