Cagan Management Group, Inc. (CMG) has been an established developer and property operator in the Florida market for over 35 years providing services nationwide, with a concentration in the Midwest, Florida, and Louisiana.When CMG came to Central Florida in 1998, they brought their vision of place making, driving the reinvention of suburban communities and creating places where there were none. At that time, place making was a unique concept to the apartment industry, and certainly to the Central Florida region. CMG worked extensively with Lake County to develop Cagan Crossings as a Traditional Neighborhood Development building a lifestyle promoting a live/work/play environment. Cagan Crossings was developed in south Clermont, close to the Four Corners region (a quadripoint connecting four counties of Central Florida) within proximity to local attractions. In 2016, Clermont was named one of the Top 20 Cities in America Leading the Way in economic development and quality of life by the Orlando Business Journal.
CMG spent the next 23 years turning Cagan Crossings into four distinct neighborhoods: Aurora, Ridgepointe, The Lofts, The Glen and The Glen II; providing 1,644 apartment homes. Each neighborhood has unique features such as apartment homes, townhomes, studios, private entrances, each with their own clubhouse amenities. Construction on an active-living 55 and up community will begin in 2018. Located in the heart of Cagan Crossings is the Town Center, consisting of 25 retail establishments allowing residents their choice of entertainment, health, business and dining options. Just a short walk down the street is the Cagan Crossings Community Library, the largest library in Lake County providing the entire area a resource of endless educational opportunities.
Cagan Crossings is home to many events such as an annual family carnival, a weekly Farmers Market open to the public on Friday mornings, and a monthly Food Truck Night the first Saturday of the month. Lake Sylvia is a 1-acre scenic private park exclusively for Cagan Crossings residents and their guests which includes a picnic shelter, grills, picnic tables, benches and an observation deck. Residents can also enjoy the monthly events center offered in the community center, dog parks and clubhouse amenities for each neighborhood.
Tell us a little about yourself:My name is Jadira , I am 35 years old and am a mother to two young men. I was born and raised in New Jersey and come from a Dominican household. I have been in Florida for over 10 years and have been in Esthetics for about 5 years. I have passion in helping others and being someones cheerleader.
What/who inspired you to start your own business?I have always had a passion for helping others and making others feel good about themselves. Growing up, I used to love watching my mother take care of her skin and apply her make-up. So much so, I started to teach myself how to master this artistry. Then I decided that I wanted to make my passion my full-time career. I have struggled with my skin and used to cover it up with makeup. Once I understood how to take better care of my skin, it was where my need to cover up my imperfections were gone and my confidence boosted.I wanted to provide a space at Skincore, where we can provide the tools and knowledge to help guide you to your skin care goals.

I just moved to the area and didn't have a dentist. I had a horrible toothache and no one would see me right away. The one place that could see me, 24/7 Dental in Celebration wanted $600 to pull one tooth. I called Southlake Dental on Friday and spoke to Dennis. From the moment I first said hello, he was just awesome! Fantastic customer service! They were able to squeeze me in the same day and pull my tooth for a much better price. Over $200 in savings. Everyone in this office showed compassion and genuinely cared that I was in pain. Thanks to the Dentist that pulled my tooth and to Dennis for showing that they care! -Antashia

I just got home from an appointment with South Lake Dental and I just have to say - WOW. After a bad experience elsewhere (it starts with 'smi' and ends with 'afters'), I was desperate to find someone else to finish up a procedure for me. Not only was the staff communicative and attentive and caring, they also worked with me on my insurance to make sure I didn't have to pay a ton out of pocket. My finished work looks great (the color matching is perfect). Overall, it was an excellent experience. Thank you!

This is the place to go! I called this morning to ask what to do about my daughter's jaw tooth that had split in half. We have never been to this office before, and so we were not established patients. They were so helpful and told us they would call back to let me know if they could work us in. Not even 5 minutes later got a call back, saying we could be seen that morning. Go in, everyone was super nice and professional. My daughter was seen and treated with so much care, and we were both informed of everything before it was done and my girl was given choices and talked to as if she was an adult and in charge of her care. Felt super taken care of and comfortable with the experience. Top notch care.

This was not my regular dentist but was willing to take me on short notice. I had a Filling that started breaking apart. It was a very deep filling. When she was finished she asked me to bite down to make sure my bite was ok, when I did I bit down on my tongue and I heard it tear and was bleeding. It cost me $500.00 and I think it will end up being pulled since it still bothers me. Not a very caring dentist.

Im in Florida on vacation and broke a tooth. Scared where to go but found South Lake Dental and my experience was great! Dr. Carla Talavera-Jordan made me feel comfortable and explained everything she was doing while repairing my tooth!

I was on vacation in Florida and had a tooth problem. I stopped in to make an appointment and Dr. Carla Televera Jordan was able to see me the same day. The following she called to see how I was doing and called me back into the office. The tooth issue had changed dramatically and she immediately diagnosed the problem, gave me a script, and made an appointment for me with a great endodontist. The entire staff is great! Very professional and compassionate!

I lost a filling in a front tooth and thought about wanting till I was going home to my regular dentist. After calling and speaking with the receptionist I decided to give them a try. Dr Talavera Listened and HEARD everything I had to say on my first visit today. I have a VERY hard time with anxiety at dentist and it has taken a long time to build trust with dentists and we just moved here. She took the time to sit with me and personally did my cleaning and then taught the dental hygienist what works for me. It was very appreciated. I never felt nervous or uncomfortable ON MY FIRST trip to a new dentist is incredible. She is amazing.

After waiting months for this appointment on the day of the appointment they are going to tell me that I will need to reschedule. Previously, I was informed that they would accept my xray from a recent dental appointment I had done elsewhere i should just get it to them. Then they switched on the day of my appointment and said I should reschedule for when my insurance would pay for the xray again which would be months away again. Now what kind of unprofessional conduct is this. I am so disappointed and upset by the way I was treated. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. Talavera-Jordan is the most gentle, compassionate and talented Dentist I have ever been to. I brought my mother to see her, because she broke a tooth. My mom is so scared of dentist and suffers from dementia. Dr. Talavera-Jordan did X-Ray and explained everything and my mom did so well. I would recommend her to anyone, she is truely something special and has a heart to help everyone.

The office staff at South Lake Dental are amazing. Any time I walk in, I am greeted by name with a smile and am always seen within 5 minutes of arrival. The office is modern, clean and upholds any standard that I'd have. I have to give my praises to Dr. Carla. She is phenomenal! I started taking my 11 year old son to this office after taking him to another local dental chain for years. Dr. Carla has made dentist visits such a pleasure for him! She goes above and beyond her duties. She literally sat and educated my son on the importance of dental care and flossing in such an appealing manner that he's been excited to come home and floss and brush (that's a big deal for a lazy 11-year old boy!). She took time also to teach him how to floss properly and literally held a mirror for him so she could watch and teach him the right way to do it. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Carla. I'm grateful for her and her passion for her work!!

My wife and I are visiting from Canada for several months. My wife experienced a serious tooth problem. She was given an emergency appointment within a few hours. Dr. Talavera-Jordan was fantastic in diagnosing the issue and addressing and correcting the problem. Her professional manner was exceptional. In addition the entire staff were cordial, efficient and first rate. We highly recommend this dental practice. Makes us feel good that there are still people like South Lake Dental available.
