Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. This is probably the worst dentist place to go. I went for an emergency, I was on a lot of pain and passing through a the death of a brother and they check first all the others teeth before attending me correctly and I spend almost 4 hours and they did not finish I was still with the problem and the dentist that could help me with the root canal goes to that office once a month, so they just diagnose that day. I must go to another dentist because they just clean and I need to wait ONE MONTH was terrible. It Was 07/22/2021 and the charge me before $1,200.00. Don't come here, I send them this and never answer.

OMG ! A wonderful experience with the most amazing people !!! I just happened to walk into the Dentistry on 152nd Street near to the metro zoo because I was having severe tooth problems and thought the worst is about to happen . Fortunately I was greeted by Dr. Omar Vasquez and two lovely ladies who spoke very nicely to me. My attending Dr. Was Dr. Valentina Carrillo, a beautiful young woman who did an excellent job using some of the best technology and techniques. No pain throughout the procedure and even afterwards . I'm totally satisfied and would highly recommend this Dentistry. Thanks to all the wonderful people there

An extremely clean and very well kept facility. The staff is attentive and very nice. There is a mix of professionalism and friendliness that is hard to find in this city but they absolutely do it well. Aside from a great atmosphere, their work speaks for itself. Excellent technique and attention to detail. Highly recommended.

I'm very terrified of dentists it is a real fear and my daughter referred me to SKD and because I had an bad infection and poor hygiene it was just time to go and stop inventing remedies at home. I entered SKD and from the moment I walked in, the X-rays, with Marianna and then the Dr. Omar V. Came in and explained everything I had going on with every detail with pros and cons and as he spoke I started to feel very comfortable. Once he started my procedures he was very gentle very in tuned to my feelings making sure I was ok. Giving me a break in between and in the end I left his office with a goal and a plan to reach my goal! Thank you to all and especially dr and his assistant for making this visite the best dentist visit ever! I look forward to returning for my follow ups without a fear and more confident!

I would like to start off by saying that before this dentist, I was terrified of going to the dentist, the pain plus experience was never good for me that was until I found this place. This Dentist made me feel welcomed from the moment I stepped thru the door. I had to have a tooth pulled and I didn't feel any pain. This was amazing to me since I was used to feeling pain with just a simple cleaning. They also give you multiple options so you don't feel pressured into doing something one way. Dr Carrillo is really good at what she does as well as the whole staff/team. I'm extremely happy with this dentist office. Definitely the best Dentist I've ever been too. Will be recommending to all.

I have been to many dentist office this is the first time the staff the technicians and the doctors specialist are all so kind so professional and so considerate of each patient I had the most amazing experience from the time I did my first visit to the extraction of my wisdom teeth to root canals it has been an amazing experience and I thought I would never say that.
