Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Roslyn, New York, Dr.Daniel Kubikian majored in Pharmacy at St. Johns University in New York. In 2001, he received the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree (DMD) from the School of Dental Medicine at The University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Kubikian continued his studies completing a 4-year post-graduate program in Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis while earning the Chairmans Award, from The University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Kubikian is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Department of Periodontics at The University of Pennsylvania. He is a featured lecturer in implant dentistry at The University of Pennsylvania and Albert Einstein Medical Center. He has lectured at the Greater New York Dental Meeting and at various meetings throughout the east coast. Since 2007, Dr. Kubikian has taught a comprehensive implant course accredited by the New Jersey Dental Association which is geared to provide state of the art implant education to the dental community. In 2008, Dr. Kubikian founded the South Jersey Dental Study Club which meets monthly and provides continuing education lectures to the dental community from prominent national and international lecturers.

I just had a procedure done with Dr. Gilbert, I just have to say how absolutely wonderful she is!! Not only is she so informative but she is so comforting and constantly made sure I was ok throughout the whole procedure. Her assistant was wonderful too and I felt zero pain!!! I highly recommend South Jersey Periodontics, the staff is always so nice and sweet and the place itself is so homey and always decorated beautifully!! Thank you for taking such good care of me

The entire experience at SJ Periodontics was wonderful. The office staff were very helpful. The office beautiful, but most importantly Dr. Gilbert explained everything in such a calming manner and made sure that I felt comfortable. I would highly recommend this practice.

What a difference a dentist appointment is for me today. Been through many different appointments with other providers which haven't worked for me. They were both very expensive and unnecessary work performed on me. Dr. Kubikuan and staff are amazing and very professional. Never a wait time. Everyone is pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I have gum disease and they have been able to keep it under control with no extreme procedures, little risk and no financial problems. Thank you for making my visits pleasant.

I cannot praise Dr. Gilberg and her wonderful staff enough! You can tell they truly love their job and that carries over to ensuring their patients are comfortable and well informed of their procedure from beginning to end. They go above and beyond and are so professional. The gorgeous seasonal decor and smells add to the pleasant experience. I highly recommend!

Had my first maintenance cleaning with Jodi this afternoon and she was wonderful; caring and very informative. I highly recommend this practice, truly unbeatable treatment by wonderful people!

I never thought I would share a positive review after a periodontist visit. I mean, after all, we all go to these visits because of something that either makes us feel insecure, worried, or in serious pain. Dr. Kubikian is the BEST periodontist you will ever meet. He's competent, friendly, thorough, down-to-earth, non-judgmental, and most importantly, honest. He really listens to patients, even high-strung ones like myself, and really radiates kindness and trustworthiness the minute he walks in the room. You get the sense he actually wants to help you and coordinates with you to formulate the most efficient method to accomplish your oral health goals. There is no way to honestly compare pricing for implant procedures, but the estimated cost was reasonable and considerably lower than I expected! Additionally, I do not want to overlook the efficiency and customer service excellence, of the supporting staff, at SJ Periodontics. I wish I got all of their names! First, Si (hope I am spelling it correctly-pronounced "sigh"), is wonderful, smart, insightful, an expert with the 3D scanner, and above all, she's got an amazing patient bedside manner. I had one of the best conversations with her and couldn't believe she had only been at SJ Periodontics, for less than a month. She's friendly, competent, and a real asset! Amy was welcoming and friendly, explained my insurance coverage limits beforehand, and I am most happy to report, she didn't gag me, not even once, as she did almost 20-something bitewing x-rays! The entire front desk staff is friendly, warm, and welcoming. Before I left, I really felt part of their family! From the doctors to staff, at SJ Periodontics and Dental Implants, each of them exudes the highest level of professionalism, competence, trustworthiness, and kindness! Dr Gilberg and her assistant Amy and the entire staff are wonderful.I recently had a tooth pulled and had a great experience. From the moment I walked in until I left I felt very comfortable, informed and they answered all of my questions. I was a little anxious before the extraction but during the procedure I was informed of everything that was being done. I was so surprised when it was over. Amy gave me all of my instructions and supplies that I would need at home.The office is decorated so nice it's clean and welcoming.Dr Gilberg is wonderful and I highly recommend her. As soon as you pull into office parking lot, your anxiety is lessen.The office is decorated for every season and Holiday, just beautifully. You forget your in a dental office. The staff is welcoming and friendly. My hygienist was great, made me feel very relaxed. She was gentle and caring. Dr Kubikian is a super dentist. You can tell the superior quality comes from the top down!

I first started bringing both my children to see Dr Kubikian & Dr Gilberg. My daughter is intellectually disabled and Dr Kubikian was very caring & gentle with her. My son had a Frenectomy and Dr Gilberg was just as caring and gentle with him. I decided to treat myself to a crown lengthening procedure and only 2 days later I couldn't be happy with the results! Everyone at this office is so nice. On a side note, the seasonal decor is beautiful and it always smells so good in there!!

I have had to visit Dr. Kubikian a few times over these past two years. The receptionists, assistants and Dr. Kubikian were very pleasant and very professional. EVERY staff member was exceptional! Dr. Kubikian made me feel comfortable with a clear explanation of procedures, a kind manner and his sense of humor. Sherry went out of her way to help with insurance issues. Dominique and Purvi were friendly and knowledgeable. It is a family environment; everyone I met was empathetic, compassionate and I appreciated that they made me feel at ease and so welcomed on my very first visit. From scheduling with Kim and Donna to the front desk to exit, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I feel confident they provide great care to their patients and I am looking forward to continuing my treatment.

Dr Kubikian and his staff are wonderful. From the moment i walked in the door I felt at ease. The reception staff is very helpful and accommodating. During my consultation everything was explained in terms i could understand and I worked with the doctor to map out my treatment plan. When I went back for my extraction and implant process I was a bit anxious but the assistants comforted me and the process was painless and quick with no after effects. Afterwards Dr Kubikian was very patient in answering additional questions. I would definitely recommend this practice.
