Originally from Fair Lawn, NJ, Dr. Baqir Jaffery completed his undergraduate studies at Rutgers University with a B.S. in Biology and a minor B.A. in Psychology. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School in 2005. Dr. Jaffery then went on to complete a General Practice Residency in Paterson, NJ at St. Josephs Hospital. There he worked with top surgeons, prosthodontists, implant specialists, endodontists and periodontists on patients ranging from trauma to extensive oral rehabilitation and full mouth reconstruction.
Since then, Dr. Jaffery has been enjoying private practice in South Jersey. Dr. Jaffery remains dedicated to community service and volunteers at the Mission of Mercy in Philadelphia to serve the undeserved.
Dr. Jaffery is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and dental expertise to his patients. He especially enjoys keeping up with the various technological advances and integrating them into his clinical practice.
Dr. Jaffery is married and his wife is a board certified, dual doctorate Oral Surgeon. They have two children in elementary school. When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Jaffery enjoys exercising, fishing and a good slice of pizza and hot-wings.
Dr. Jaffery attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine receiving her dental degree in 2006. She received her M.D. degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2011 and subsequently completed two years of General Surgery residency at Hahnemann University Hospital. Dr. Jaffery is presently a licensed physician and dentist in the state of New Jersey, Dr. Jaffery completed her specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine. She served as Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Chief Resident from 2013-2014 at Hahnemann University Hospital and Saint Christophers Hospital for Children. Dr. Jaffery completed the board certification process and is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
She is a member of the American Medical Association, Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Mid-Atlantic Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. She a
lso maintains membership in the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Jaffery especially enjoys teaching and mentoring both students and residents as she holds an adjunct faculty positions at both the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) residency program at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry (TUKSOD) and at the Virtua Health General Practice Residency in Camden, NJ.
She has been awarded NJ Top Dentist award as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon by her peers. Her residency training and private practice experience have prepared her for performing full scope Oral Surgery. She enjoys sharing advances to the field of implant dentistry with her patients. Her special interests include immediate placement of dental implants and full arch reconstruction.

Dr. Baqir Jaffery is a very attentive and gentle dentist. He is highly recommended for all of your dental care. He always makes sure that you are comfortable and aware of the whole process you will go through. The BEST dentist I have ever been to. Highly recommended!!!

We are new to the area and needed a dentist. We found this practice online, they had great reviews. We were both able to get in right away. The office is bright, friendly, clean, and welcoming. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They explained our insurance coverage in detail. Dr. Jaffrey is so friendly and explained what needed to be taken care of. He is so good I never even felt the Novocain . The practice uses the latest technology to show you your Xrays, no metal fillings, and the hygienists are knowledgeable, gentle, and friendly. We highly recommend this practice

Just left dr j's office for a cleaning. The hygienist was great. The least pain I have ever had with a cleaning. As always the staff is professional and always polite. Dr j is always great. He explains my options so I can understand and is very patient w person like myself who has a dentist phobia. I highly recommend him and his staff

I wasn't going to review this place but I will just so other people don't waste their time and money bringing small children to this office. It's marketed as a family dental office and if you call they will say that they see toddlers, but you'll be better off seeing a pediatric specific dentist. I drove 35 minutes for my 3 year old to be seen which amounted in him being allowed to run in and out of the exam rooms while the dentist explained that they don't want to scare the kids when they come in so they choose to overload them with toys to keep their interest. All while hardly getting his fingers in my childs mouth to confirm my suspicions of a couple cavities. The dentist then proceeds to tell me to just put my child in a headlock when it comes time to brush teeth and that he will eventually not struggle with me any more when it's time to brush teeth and oh, don't worry, it's only stains. Not cavities.. I paid 80 dollars and drove more than an hour both ways for literally nothing. No tools were put in my childs mouth, not even a mirror to look at the backs of his teeth. I was more than willing to hold my kiddo on my lap so he could get a good look but the entire appointment was a waste of time and money. Thankfully the receptionists were very kind and the office is nice, but this place isn't equipped for small children. I got a second opinion at another office and they did confirm a couple cavities. Glad I didn't wait a long time to get that because I don't want any further issues to result from this.

Had a very good experience.They were curtious and understanding.They were worried about the patient instead of only worried about the money.The reception staff was extremely nice and were willing to put in the extra work to save you a buck.I would definitely recommend this dentist and staff to everyone.

Not a very good experience this time around. They hygienist performed sub-par work. And that's putting it mildly. Also, I wasn't told that the dentist would not be in during my scheduled visit. Never had such a poor experience.

Great experience! Wonderful to our whole family. Zero fear for our 3 year old. Our 11 year old was happy as well. We followed our hygienist here from our former dentist that moved. Feel as comfortable as we did with our former dentist.

I LOVE this place. Very comfortable, relaxed, friendly people. I use private insurance, they don't take Medicaid. I got a crown here and it was painless and amazing. The permanent they put in fits beautifully, so comfortable. Dr. Jaffery is very nice, helps explain everything

So let me say I am 27 years old and haven't been to the dentist since I was in high school, I was terrified of going but was having problems with my wisdom teeth. I found these guys on line with great reviews and they could actually get me in . EVERYONE that I encountered was SO friendly and accommodating!!! The doctor himself called me before I came in to introduce himself and I thought that was wonderful. They explained treatments and what they were doing step by step . No demeaning tones or constant shanking like some dentists do. I even mentioned to the front desk girl how nice the doctor was and I was planning on staying with this practice forever because of how great my experience was . Honestly blown away with how kind and courteous everyone was !
