Connor graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Dental Hygiene Program in 2021. He is currently working to complete his Bachelor of Science Degree in addition to providing his patients with the quality care they deserve. He also received his license to administer local anesthesia to help his patients feel comfortable during any procedure. Having moved from Boston in 2019, he is still new to the Pittsburgh area. As such, he enjoys exploring the city and finding new areas. He also enjoys playing basketball, hockey, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family and friends.

Rachel started with South Hills Dental Arts in February 2022. Rachel graduated with a B.S. in Chemistry from Liberty University in 2020. She came to SHDA because she has a passion for teeth and smiles and loves the atmosphere and values here. In her free time, Rachel enjoys hiking, reading, kayaking, and finding new restaurants with her husband.

Leah joined our team in September 2021. She has been in the dental field for 14 years. Leah loves helping others and making a difference in their smile. In her spare time Leah enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Shawna is new to South Hills Dental Arts and Pittsburgh, she moved from Colorado in January 2021. She has been in the dental field for 8 years and really enjoys meeting and talking with patients and ensuring they receive the best care. In her spare-time she loves to travel and explore new cities, she especially loves to visit her daughter who lives in London. Shawna is looking forward to exploring Pittsburgh with her boyfriend and decorating their new house.

Amanda dove into the dental field head first 6 years ago with no prior knowledge. During her time in the field she has found a true passion for helping patients and getting to know them on a personal level. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff and their son Landon. Their greatest joy is found on their farm where they have an interesting assortment of animals.

Nicole C joined South Hills Dental Arts after spending ten years in the medical field starting in urgent care and moving up to administration. She really missed working with patients and is so happy to find herself back in such a patient oriented office. When she is not in the office she enjoys spending time outdoors either working in her garden, hiking, or camping with friends, then relaxing at home with a good book or paint by numbers.

Joining us in 2014, Haley is one of our Expanded Functions Dental Assistants (EFDA) and Certified Dental Assistants (CDA). Haley attended the Bradford School in Pittsburgh for dental assisting and graduated with honors in December of 2013. She earned her EFDA license in 2014 and her CDA license in 2016. Additionally, Haley received training in phlebotomy in 2017. In her free time, Haley likes to run and spend time with her family and friends.

RJ is a native Angeleno and recently moved in Pittsburgh around July of 2020 to be with his girlfriend. He has been with us since October of 2020. He went to the Philippines for Dental School and graduated in 2015 and earned the degree DMD. In 2016 he went back to California and worked in Beverly Hills for 4 years as an RDA. He plans to continue his education to earn the degree DDS here in the states. During his free time, he likes to spend it with his girlfriend, family and close friends. He also loves to travel and visit other countries and learn different cultures.

Lauren started with Souths Hills Dental Arts as a dental assistant in 2018 after completing her externship here. She has been assisting for 2 1/2 years now. She graduated from Bradford dental school with an associates degree and a radiology certification. Lauren loves to go above and beyond for all her patients and her teammates! Shes always here to lend a helping hand whenever wherever! In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends relaxing. You could usually find Lauren at your local target or reorganizing her house.

Polina was born and raised in Tallinn, Estonia. She moved to the US in 2013 and has been living in Pittsburgh ever since. In 2019 Polina has graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with associates degree in Dental Hygiene. She also holds local anesthesia license to ensure patients get the most comfortable experience. In her free time she loves spending time with her big family, traveling and camping. Polina, her husband and their French bulldog Louie reside in Crafton area. Polina is fluent in English, Russian and Estonian languages. Polina has joined the team in August 2019 and is very passionate about oral hygiene and well-being of our patients.

Tori graduated from the University of Pittsburgh Dental Hygiene Program in 2015. After receiving her Dental Hygiene Certificate, she went on to complete her Bachelor of Science Degree in 2016. She is also licensed to administer local anesthesia to ensure patient comfort. After working a few years in Florida, she moved back to the Pittsburgh area early 2019 and started working for South Hills Dental Arts. In her spare time, Tori likes to ski, bake, spend time with her dog and boyfriend, and explore new cities.

Leah joined our team in July of 2021 and has been working as an EFDA since she got her license in 2018. She also has a Bachelors degree from Slippery Rock University. She loves improving her skills and learning as much as she can about dentistry. When shes not working she enjoys spending time with her fianc and her dog, Gus.

Melissa has been with South Hills Dental Arts since January 2022. She has a background in customer service, retail and marketing. Melissa came to SHDA because she enjoys helping and interacting with people. Melissa has two girls Emma, 15 and Autumn, 10. She enjoys the beach, reading, podcasts and documentaries.

Dave graduated from Bradford School and has held his Expanded Function Dental Assisting license since 2009. He has worked in clinical dentistry since that time while working towards his Bachelors Degree in Economics, which he earned in 2016 form Robert Morris University. He now takes on an administrative role but still offers his support to the clinical team. Outside of work, Dave loves to be with his wife and daughter, listen to music, play guitar, watch and play sports and cook.

Michelle is our lead dental assistant and has been involved in dentistry since 2008. She was trained through the Expanded Function Dental Assisting program at the Bradford School. Michelle has received advanced training in CEREC cad-cam design and provides high quality porcelain restoration onsite for our patients. The reason Michelle got into dentistry was because she has always loved helping people. In her free time Michelle enjoys spending time with her two sons Jayden and Christian

Jenna is our Registered Dental Hygienist at our Ingram location. In August of 2013, Jenna received a Bachelors of Science in Health Promotion, minoring in Nutrition from Appalachian State University. Graduating in May of 2019, Jenna received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Pittsburgh. Jenna also received a license to administer local anesthesia to bring comfort to her patients. Prior to Dental Hygiene School, Jenna worked completing corporate health screenings both nationally and regionally, allowing her to educate the importance of wellness and overall health to employees of large companies. She also spent time working in the health insurance industry, before realizing her real passion was helping others directly. In Jennas spare time, she enjoys running or riding her bike through Pittsburgh as well as cuddling up with her cat, Simon, while reading a good book.

Amanda completed her education with honors at Bradford School in 2012. She is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant at our Sewickley location. What she enjoys the most about the office is getting to interact so warmly with patients while helping them improve their smiles! Amanda currently resides in Hopewell Township with her husband, 3 children, and 3 dogs. Outside the office, youll find her spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, going to country concerts, and helping out with her husbands volunteer fire department

Andrea has been working as a dental hygienist with us since 2017, and is currently at our Sewickley location. She received a Bachelors of Arts degree from The University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and went on to receive her Dental Hygiene Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. Andrea started in the dental field in 2002 and has experience in all areas of the dental office. Andrea is licensed to administer local anesthetic to ensure her patients are comfortable. Besides hygiene, Andrea also runs our social media pages. She is originally from New Castle and currently resides in Sewickley with her husband, three children, and dog. In her spare time she enjoys working out, hiking, skiing, participating in races, and watching her favorite sports teams (H2P!). She also enjoys walking her dog, Churchill, trying new recipes, attending concerts, reading, listening to podcasts, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.

Babs is our patient coordinator. She has been with us since 1999 and has been involved in the field of dentistry for over 40 years! Her many duties include, answering the phone, scheduling patients, completing new patient interviews, and a variety of other things. When Babs is not in the office, you will find her spending time with her family, especially her seven grandchildren.

Adrienne came to work for us after Dr. Todorovich sold his Prosthodontic practice to us in January 2019. She does the insurance breakdowns for the patients at all three locations. She is married and has two children and one rather new granddaughter who is three months old. On Fridays she really enjoys spending time with her, especially when she smiles! She also loves decorating the office for the different holidays and taking care of plants.

Nate has been with South Hills Dental Arts since November 2021. Nate graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelors of Science in Public Relations in 2018. Nate came to SHDA because he loves how patient oriented we are, which is something hes passionate about. Nates hobbies include: trying new coffee shops, hiking, reading, hanging out with his girlfriend, and disc golfing.

Emily joined South Hills Dental Arts in December 2021. As our Billing & Insurance Coordinator, she handles claim submissions, entering explanations of benefits and sending statements. Emily is a graduate of Pittsburgh Technical College , with an Associates Degree in Office Administration . In her free time, she enjoys traveling, being outside, and spending time with her animals, family and friends.

Jessica has been with South Hills Dental Arts since February of 2021 as a billing coordinator. She has an extensive background in the hospitality industry, previously working for Hilton, and decided to join SHDA for a complete career change! Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, boating with friends, and traveling.

Sara started with South Hills Dental Arts in March 2022. She graduated from Everest Institute with the Presidents List award in Accounting. Sara is excited to bring her payroll knowledge and organizational skills to the position, and is eager to learn along the way. Patient focused and happiness have always been a priority for Sara, and she is happy to have found that at South Hills Dental Arts. Outside of work Sara enjoys riding quads, camping, hiking and spending quality time with her husband and three daughters.

Dr. Anthony Monteleone is a graduate of Grove City College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Monteleone has 28 years of practice experience in the Pittsburgh area and is also a Certified Dental Technician. This knowledge and experience are beneficial in treatment planning as well as implant case design and planning for guided surgeries for our doctors here at South Hills Dental Arts. Having Dr. Monteleone as a staff member allows our lab, Chroma CAD, to provide a unique service and perspective that very few labs can offer. We will in turn provide quality dental care at South Hills Dental Arts and Chroma CAD to help our dentists/clients pursue excellence in their delivery of dental care.

Melissa has been a lab technician for over 20 years and has been part of our team since January 2019. Taking on an active role in learning digital CEREC cad-cam design has furthered her skills in the industry. Outside of work Melissa shoots competitive archery and holds multiple national and state titles setting many records. She also enjoys camping and boating with her husband and friends.

Curtis started in the dental profession in 2004. His first position was as an administrative assistant at the Upper St. Clair Location. He quickly became comfortable with the administrative department and decided to get more hands on through training as an assistant and lab technician. In 2010, Curtis became the operations Manager for South Hills Dental Arts and in 2018 he moved into the role of Chief Executive Officer. Now he oversees the development and business relations at all locations. When he is not working he enjoys snow skiing with his family and spending time and traveling with his wife and two daughters.

After 36 years of direct patient care Dr. Crandall is transitioning solely to the role of Chief Clinical Advisor for SHDA. We are very excited about the opportunity this transition presents and the positive effect it will have on bringing our established protocols and philosophy of care to more and more people in our community. Starting January 2021, his sole focus as Chief Clinical Advisor will encompass the ongoing support and training on our philosophy of care for all of our dentists and team members at our locations.

Debi has been with our office since December of 1997 and assists the doctors in providing comprehensive dental treatment. Debi also has advanced training and knowledge in fabricating high-quality ceramic restorations onsite at our offices and completes numerous other dental laboratory duties. She has been a dental assistant for over 20 years in private offices. In 2007, Debi earned her Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate from the Dental Assisting National Board and in 2009, her Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certificate from Jefferson Community College in Ohio. Debi loves working with our patients and takes great pride in helping them have a positive experience with their dental care. She enjoys learning about the latest advances in dental technology and has had extensive training with digital CEREC cad-cam design through many continuing education courses. In her free time, she likes to read, travel, and spend time with her husband Terry, daughter Hannah, their pug Samson, and family and friends.

Lindsay attended the Bradford School where she graduated with high honors. Following graduation, she worked for three years as an EFDA, before transitioning to a management position with her last company. Lindsay was quickly promoted to Regional Director, where she oversaw the day-to-day operations for 7 dental practices across western Pennsylvania. She loves to read, garden and spend time with family and friends.
