Dental implants are the leading option for replacing missing teeth, giving patients unrivalled function and aesthetic. Here are five reasons why we offer dental implants in Puyallup:
Dental implants consist of a biocompatible (usually titanium) root post placed into the jawbone, through a simple surgical procedure. During the healing process the bones fuses around the post, in a process called osseointegration. A prosthetic crown is then placed onto the post to complete the restoration. Where there are several missing teeth, your dentist may suggest a bridge or implant-supported dentures.
At South Hill Dental in Puyallup we use the latest advances in dental implant technology to plan and place implants. This includes using an intraoral scanner to create an accurate 3D image of your teeth, jaws and gums to plan treatment. Using the latest software your dentist can plan the ideal placement of your dental implant with absolute precision and use of computer guided surgery to place your dental implants. If there is any need for bone grafting to secure the dental implant in the jaw, this will be picked up in the planning and planned for accordingly. This is by far the friendliest and cleanest dentist office I have ever been to in my fifty plus years. The staff is so welcoming and you can tell there is a great deal of respect amongst them as they work as a team. PLUS they are gentle and efficient at their duties. The dentist is awesome as well. Let's face it, going to the dentist isn't on anyone's favorite thing to do, but with the treatment and atmosphere at South Hill Dental, it was even kinda a pleasure! Five stars for them!
South Hill Dental is great! I had a tooth that felt like it was ready to explode and they were able to get me in to perform what ended up being two root canals. Got in the same day i called. Jill was great and so was everyone else. Can't remember everyone's name because when you're getting work done, it's hard to remember things like names. The dentist really knew what he was doing and I'm feeling better already. I highly recommend them!

I first came to this dental office in 2021 when moved to the area. I chose this office based on all of the positive reviews, and I can confidently say they exceeded my expectations. As someone with every dental problem known to man (most recently an implant put in) I have extreme anxiety around dental visits...(I have had some very poor experiences). The team at south hill dental is friendly compassionate and professional. They took my anxiety seriously and made me feel at ease. Dr Kunal is extremely knowledgeable and very honest about the work needed. He does amazing work. I've never experienced such painless, fast and efficient work in my 36 years. I had a complex extraction that he removed within minutes in one piece and not one second did I feel uncomfortable. I cannot rave enough about his efficiency. I have my 8 year old daughter coming here as well and she agrees with my feelings on south hill dental (she really enjoys hygienist Jill). Suzanne the office manager is wonderful, she went above and beyond during my first visit when my insurance company was being difficult. She made a great first impression on me as I felt they truly cared. She also can help you get in right away same day with a dental emergency. Marcie in billing is also very efficient and has you out the door in no time! I have visited South Hill Dental about 9 times now for work and not once have I had a less then fantastic experience. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else for dental work.

From the time I contacted them until the time I left they were professional, knowledgeable, and caring they made me feel comfortable the whole time from start to finish the receptionist at the front counter was very attentive to helping me attain the right forms that I needed to complete. Dr. WALIA and his staff knows there business explained to me everything thing in detail and let me know my options before starting the procedure which never happen at other dental offices I been to . I will definitely be coming back there for A1 dental service very impressed.

Incredibly polite, patient, helpful and professional from the beginning till the end. The front desk, dentist and the hygienist are all awesome. I usually get very anxious with dental work, but these people are wonderful and gentle. Highly recommend.

I can't even begin to tell you how amazing my experience was here. I called them about extreme tooth pain and they got me in as a new patient the next day! I knew it would need to be pulled and I was so freaking nervous. Let me tell you from the very moment I walked into this office I couldn't stop smiling! These people are beyond nice! Emma staid with me most of my visit here and she just is the sweetest girl ever! Thank you to the sweet doctor who got me in and out within a just a hour! And I was so afraid for pain,I felt nothing!! Thank you thank you!! Even with insurance id pay any amount to never go to another place in my life! Thank you

The people here know what they're doing, they know what they're talking about and I really appreciated that. I never have to wait more than a couple of minutes when I show up to an appointment and the staff are all so kind and respectful. They also honor that some of us have dental anxiety and different pain tolerance. This is the first dental office that has listened and cared about my comfort and soothing my anxiety while under their care. So thank you to the staff! My family and I will continue to come here as long as we are in the region.

I've had anxiety about going to the dentist for a very long time. I had found one I really liked, but unfortunately he retired. My anxiety came flooding back at the thought of finding a new dentist. When I ended up with a dental emergency, I knew it was time to find one. After lots of research and reading reviews I decided to try South Hill Dental. My first interaction was with Jill, a dental assistant. To my horror, my anxiety was so high that I started crying. Jill was nothing short of amazing! She calmed my nerves, and talked me through the entire appointment. I might have ran out if it weren't for her! When Dr. Harinder Walia came in he was equally as kind and compassionate. Dr. Walia quickly and efficiently took care of my dental emergency and I couldn't be happier! I'm so happy with South Hill Dental that before leaving I made an appointment for a regular cleaning. I strongly recommend this office, especially for those with anxiety about going to the dentist.

Called In on Independence day, got an appointment for the next day! They were so understanding and kind. We took x-rays and pulled the tooth the same day! As a new patient! The dentist was gentle and talked me through the prosses. There was such positive healing energy there. The first time I had a tooth pulled WITH NO PAIN!
