Dr. Sasha grew up here in Friendswood, Texas. He is a graduate of Friendswood High School and Baylor University. He earned his dental degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, which is now affiliated with Vanderbilt University. Dr. Sasha takes great pride in all of the education he has done after dental school, which includes training in orthodontics, implants, sleep apnea, cosmetic dentistry, sedation dentistry, invisalign, and other clear aligner systems.
Dr. Sasha has two children both of whom have attended bay area Christian school and clear springs high school. Dr. Sasha loves to spend time at home cooking, grilling and trying new things. He spends a considerable amount of time at courses to keep up to date on all the newest techniques to provide his patients with the best comprehensive care.
Dr. Rahul Gandhi received his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2000 at the University of Pittsburgh, and a Certificate of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2001. Following, he received his GPR / IV Anesthesia Certification at St. Barnabas Hospital.
Dr. Gandhi practices general dentistry with focus on Oral Surgery and IV Conscious Sedation. He is also certified in Parenteral Conscious Sedation, Enteral Sedation, Intramuscular Sedation, and Nitrous Oxide Sedation.
Dr. Gandhi has received advance education in implant surgery and also provides wide range of implant dentistry procedures. Dr. Gandhi is married to shefah, an advance practice nurse at MD Anderson. He has 2 teenage boys and reades in sugarland for the past 15 years.

I am a new patient at South Friendswood Dental and everyone in this clinic is amazing! Everyone is friendly, will take time to chat with you and they are very knowledgeable. The front desk/checkout people are extremely helpful and kind as well. I am glad that I chose this dentist office and look forward to going back for future appointments! I highly recommend, especially if you are looking around for a new dentist.

Dr Gandhi and his assistant Dora took good care of me. I had 2 molars removed and it was out super fast I didn't feel a thing. They are super attentive and caring staff I recommend him and the office.

There are not enough words to express how blessed I am to have had my wonderful doctor(Dr. Sasha Mahabir), (his amazing assistant - Sarah) and their staff! Without them I could of never made it! They saved my life! I will forever be greatful! Early Sunday morning my husband took me to the hospital. I was in the worst, excruciating pain in my life! The bottom and upper part of my jaw felt like someone was litterly punching me in my jaw, temple and head. Non-stop. There was nothing that would take the pain away. The radiologist and doctor came out after they read the results of the catscan and said to my husband, you need to take her straight to the dentist ASAP and have these two teeth extracted. Her results do not look good. By the time we left the hospital it was Monday morning. They discharged me and we drove straight to SOUTH FRIENDSWOOD DENTAL! I barely could walk in. My husband helped me get in and the staff took me back immediately for surgery. I will forever be grateful to my doctor,his assistant and staff. Without them, their bedside manner and patience through this whole process saved my life! Thank you again for everything and the continued support through this. May God bless you all!

This dental office is very clean and inviting. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and kind as well. The dental cleaning was done very comfortably and thoroughly. After the cleaning was done, the dentist came to evaluate my teeth. I highly recommend this place!

The staff was very friendly. I came in for a tooth extraction. The Doctor and his assistant made sure I didn't feel any discomfort. They did what they had to do to get the tooth out, pulled that bad boy and I didn't feel any pain on some slight pressure. The doctor and the nurse went over everything I needed to know for the treatment and how to take care of the area the tooth was removed from. Thanks! Looking forward for the rest of my treatments!

Dr Mahabir and Dr Gandhi are both great! Everyone at South Friendswood Dental are very nice and friendly. I do have bad teeth and have made many visits doing extractions and fillings, and each time I know I am in good hands. Everyone puts you at ease and makes sure you are okay before, during, and after the procedures. Usually people dislike the dentist but I do not mind because I know I will always be treated well at South Friendswood Dental
