Eileen was incredibly helpful and doctor Luis Mejia did an excellent job. I was in town and needed to get something checked out quickly. They made the whole process fast and efficient. Highly recommended!!

I made an appointment days in advanced and when I made it to the location, the receptionist told me they weren't taking appointments today and that I'd have to reschedule. I received both a text message and an email reminding me of my appointment but according to the receptionist, I should have gotten an email about the cancellation.

Very accommodating office staff, Eileen helped me last minute. Honest doctor. Fair price for cleaning. Thank you to the whole team, great experience. Unfortunately not 5 stars because they are not affiliated with Aetna student discounts so I couldn't finish everything I wanted to do, but that doesn't take away from the quality of their work.

Refused to do my dental cleaning because I requested to not go through X-ray. I did my X-ray 6 months prior and there was no need for me getting extra radiation. They just wanted to bill the insurance in the expense of my health.

Sadly was forced to go to a different doctor due to the lack of professionalism by their front desk girl eileen. She has no business attending to paying customers and after two years in this office i will stop.

The absolute worst experience I've ever had at a dentist. No one speaks english, no one takes their job seriously, my exam was scheduled for 9am and when I got to the office I was told my consultation would only be available at 9:30 because the dentists hadn't arrived yet... I waited until 9:35 and was told I'd have to wait until 10am, completely disregarding my job. My recommendation is stay away from this horrible establishment.

I have been in this office and all of staff have very professional starting with the Front desk to al the dentists and techical assistants . I would recommend all my family and friends to this offices but also to all of the others one the have through put miami.

I schedule an appointment for 345, my appointment card says 345. The receptionist calls me the day before and says my appointment is at 3, I tell her I work and it needs to be at 330. She says okay see you at 330. I arrive exactly at 330, wait 30 mins, ask when my appointment is going to be, the receptionist tells me I arrived an hour and 15 mins early and my appointment is actually at 445! Respect peoples' time! Time is so precious to me, beyond livid

DO NOT GO HERE. Horribly unprofessional. I went to South Dental 4 weeks ago, after my dentist asked me to remove my permanent metal retainer for cleaning and put it back. I explained my dentist's request to the orthodontist in South Brickell, and they recommended to remove my retainer that same day, have me go for a cleaning at my regular dentist's, and come back to South Dental the next month to put a retainer again (their orthodontist only comes there once a month). I asked if my teeth won't move during the month without a retainer (I've had my retainer for over 15 years), and they said that it won't matter if they move because "they will fix it next month with the new retainer". I agreed, and my retainer was removed that same day and I was scheduled to put a new retainer the month after, when the orthodontist is in the office. During this month my teeth had visibly moved. Yesterday, ONE DAY before my appointment, I got this text message from South Dental: "Good afternoon unfortunately all ortho appointments will be rescheduled for next month the doctor has a family emergency". I called the office and explained the situation: I am without a retainer for a month after it was removed by South Dental, my teeth had visibly moved, and I can't wait another month to put a retainer because I do not want my teeth to keep moving. Their response was that they have nothing to do because the orho isn't available. I insisted them to help me find a solution, and they recommended to go to their Kendell office in two days. That did not work for me for two reasons: (1) I'm working during the day, and the appointment I scheduled with South Dental Brickell was planned a month in advance so I took that day off (Thursday). I couldn't randomly decide to take another day off (Friday) on a two-day notice. (2) The Kendell otho isn't in my network (Aetna) so the retainer won't be covered. I explained that, and the receptionist said there is nothing else she can do. Just like that. I am now still calling multiple orthos in the area to find one that will agree to put a retainer for me and fix what South Dental Brickell had done. At this point my teeth had moved and a permanent retainer won't fix that, I'll have to pay for an aligner even though I spend 5 years as a kid with braces and they just ruined it by being so unprofessional. I am very disappointed with South Dental Brickell and will NOT recommend it to anyone.
