Dr. Makati graduated from Redlands High School, University Of California, Riverside (UCR), and New York University, College of Dentistry (NYU). He completed post-graduate training at the Eastman Dental Institute, London UK.
After qualifying from NYU in 2006 he worked at a number of practices in Southern California widening his knowledge and enhancing his skills. He then took over the reigns of his father's practice, which had been established since 1985. Being one of the oldest and most trusted dental practices in the area, they provided general and cosmetic dentistry to the San Bernardino and Lake Arrowhead community for over 30 years.
'I am Dr. Zainab Bhagat, BDS, DMD. I graduated from Dental College in India in 2015. Backed with a vision of serving humanity, one smile at a time, I successfully managed my private practice of 3 years. The dream to expand my knowledge and skills towards newer advances in the field of dentistry, brought me to the United States. I graduated from Western University College of Dental Medicine, Pomona, CA in 2021. I am fueled by my passion for understanding the nuances of dental as well as the aesthetic needs of my patients. I consider myself as a forever student, eager to build on my clinical experience as a dental practitioner as well as stay in tune with the latest avenues circumscribing digital and Implant dentistry. I bring with me a sound academic foundation of dental science coupled with extensive experiences and direct patient contact, making me certain that I am exactly where I need to be. My clinical experience, in two highly diverse countries, has helped me reinforce my self-confidence, self-efficacy, interpersonal abilities. I am a true advocate of mindfulness in the workplace is key to success - a tenet I live out through my interests in yoga, meditation, reading, and composing poems.'
