Dr. Makati graduated from Redlands High School, University Of California, Riverside (UCR), and New York University, College of Dentistry (NYU). He completed post-graduate training at the Eastman Dental Institute, London UK.
After qualifying from NYU in 2006 he worked at a number of practices in Southern California widening his knowledge and enhancing his skills. He then took over the reigns of his father's practice, which had been established since 1985. Being one of the oldest and most trusted dental practices in the area, they provided general and cosmetic dentistry to the San Bernardino and Lake Arrowhead community for over 30 years.
'I am Dr. Zainab Bhagat, BDS, DMD. I graduated from Dental College in India in 2015. Backed with a vision of serving humanity, one smile at a time, I successfully managed my private practice of 3 years. The dream to expand my knowledge and skills towards newer advances in the field of dentistry, brought me to the United States. I graduated from Western University College of Dental Medicine, Pomona, CA in 2021. I am fueled by my passion for understanding the nuances of dental as well as the aesthetic needs of my patients. I consider myself as a forever student, eager to build on my clinical experience as a dental practitioner as well as stay in tune with the latest avenues circumscribing digital and Implant dentistry. I bring with me a sound academic foundation of dental science coupled with extensive experiences and direct patient contact, making me certain that I am exactly where I need to be. My clinical experience, in two highly diverse countries, has helped me reinforce my self-confidence, self-efficacy, interpersonal abilities. I am a true advocate of mindfulness in the workplace is key to success - a tenet I live out through my interests in yoga, meditation, reading, and composing poems.'

My experience was amazing. First of all doctor was working the front while his staff was on break.... Bravo?! He checked me in and went over what my insurance would covered. Once I was brought back his DA Joanna was so sweet and super gentle while taking my X-ray's. The office is nice and clean white amazing high ceilings with natural lighting. Overall definitely coming back. Highly recommend South Corona Dentistry

All of the staff were professional and friendly. I had a root canal and had no wait times through the whole process. Doctor Makati is very skilled and precise and keeps you updated through the whole process. Day and night difference from other dentistries i've visited in the past. Highly reccomend.

I was pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the Dentist Dr Makati and the staff. I missed my appointment time and they were still able to accommodate me. Dr. Makati is the best Dentist I will ever find. He had his office in San Bernardino and moved to Corona and although it's a 30-40 min drive depending on traffic he is worth it! He does an excellent job. My husband and I trust him completely with all of our dental needs. And everybody is sooo friendly there.

On my first visit I couldn't have been happier. The people here are so friendly. During my third visit, the actual lab technician was there as he and the dentist discussed what the dentist wanted to make my dentures perfect. On my final visit the dentist gave me my new teeth, and I love them. Start to finish, I was probably in the chair less than an hour. I recommend this team to everyone, especially if you need dentures.
