Make sure to bring the forms, your dental insurance card, your drivers license or a valid ID, and a list of the over-the-counter and prescription medications you take. If you are unable to print the forms, or if you run into any problems, dont worry well have them available for you to complete when you get here.
Dr. Scheidel grew up in Vermillion, South Dakota. At a young age, he realized his interest in dentistry as he watched his own father, a practicing dentist, implement the art and science of the profession. Dr. Scheidel attended Creighton University for both his undergraduate and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees.
After professional school, Dr. Scheidel practiced as a dentist in the U.S. Navy, as well as private practice. These experiences instilled a strong work ethic, as well as deep roots, in providing excellent patient care.
Dr. Scheidel takes his craft seriously and brings to the table specialized training in exodontia, endodontics, oral diagnosis, and myofascial pain management. When he isnt busy perfecting his dental skills, you can be sure to find him on the golf course working on his short game, hanging out with family and friends, and volunteering in the community.

This is the best Dental Office I have ever been to. Dr. Scheidel, Linda, Adri, and Ashley are a fabulous team. They make sure that I am in good oral health, diagnose and treat in a trustworthy way, and always do their best to inform me of my copayments, and how to navigate my insurance benefits. I would reccomend this office to all of my friends, family, and to anyone looking for a top notch Dentist!

Absolutely fabulous experience and I got a lot of big work done today. They helped me come up with a long term plan that I'm actually excited for and would pay out of pocket gladly for such amazing treatment by amazing people. This was the first time I've ever felt comfortable discussing my oral care inadequacies without excuses or shame. From first phone call to mouth surgery & aftercare and education, A+ experience all around.

So happy I found Dr. Scheidel and his team as my new dentist. I spent my entire life only seeing one dentist who happened to be my dad. When he unfortunately passed away only a couple years ago, I was nervous to find someone who could provide me the same level of care. A great place for your dentistry needs. The doctor and technicians are excellent. Ashley works with you to understand your bill and insurance coverage. Linda cleans your teeth happily and gives advice on how to improve your gum health. And Dr Scheidel is skilled in advanced procedures to take care of your teeth including fabricating your crown right in the office as you look on. I'm very pleased by the people and service rendered.

Dr Scheidel and his staff are very friendly and have developed a treatment plan for my entire family with great results. I like how they have an option to communicate over text messaging to make things more convenient. We recently switched over to SBDC after years with another dentist, and we wish we had done it sooner! Dr. Scheidel, Linda and the rest of the team are so knowledgeable and friendly. You really feel like they care about your dental health. The atmosphere is wonderful. And the location is great too!

I've been a patient at South Broadway Dental Care for almost two years now and it is hands down the best dental practice. The staff is very friendly and professional and the facility is always pristine. Like most people I've never been a fan of the dentist and have overcome a lot of dental anxiety, but I always look forward to my appointments and feel completely calm when being treated by Dr. Scheidel and his dental assistants. I've received cleanings, fillings and am currently using Invisalign and I've been happy with every service!
