Dr. Bradley R. Swanson is a certified dental specialist in root canal therapy. He grew up in Lafayette, Indiana, and attended IU Bloomington for undergraduate studies. He completed his DDS degree at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He then went on to a one year hospital dentistry residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine. From there he completed a two year endodontic residency at the Indiana University School of Dentistry where he received his Masters of Science in Dentistry as well as certificate in Endodontics. He is the founding partner of Endodontics of Michiana PC and has practiced as an Endodontist in the Michiana area since 2007. He has performed successful root canal procedures on patients from 7 to 90 years of age. He has a special interest in treating patients who have fear or anxiety about dental treatment.
When not in the office Dr. Swanson enjoys music, cooking, working out, traveling, and enjoying quality time with his wife and 2 children. You can contact Dr. Swanson via e-mail at drswanson@southbendendo.com.
Dave is a native Hoosier who graduated with honors from Purdue University and the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He completed a general practice residency at Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago before obtaining his specialty degree in endodontics from the University of Louisville.
Anna and Kristi Office Coordinator/Receptionist When you call our office, Anna and Kristi will greet you with a warm, helpful voice. Their goal is to serve you, the patient, in all aspects of scheduling and billing. Being people persons, they enjoy the relationships they have been able to build with patients and their referring offices over many, many years.
Lisa Chairside Assistant Lisa has 15 years of dental experience. She has assisted Dr. Swanson for over 10 years. Her main goal is to make sure all patients have a comfortable visit with us. Outside the office, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include reading, cooking, and spoiling her grand baby!
Ingrid Chairside Assistant Ingrid loves to connect with our patients and always lends a compassionate ear. She has dedicated her assisting career to the specialty of endodontics and enjoys helping make our patients experience a positive and comfortable one. Outside of the office, Ingrid enjoys spending time with her family, active children, and friends as well as outdoor activities. Shes a dog lover!
Amy Chairside Assistant Amy is a wonderful communicator and wants to help every one of her patients through their experience in our office. She is extremely quick to learn and is always eager to lend a helping hand. Amy enjoys spending time with her grand babies and children as well as outdoor activities and motorcycling.

Dr. Swanson and his team are amazing from the front desk to the chair and after. I particularly appreciate how well they communicate the process with you so you know what to expect. The facility is very clean and inviting, staff is professional and friendly and the prices for the expertise is a great value. I have had multiple procedures over 10 years and Dr. Swanson has always come through for me.

Dr. Swanson and all of his staff are so caring! This was my 3rd root canal yet I was still nervous. Dr. Swanson put me at ease immediately and it was totally painless. Before I knew it, the procedure was done. His assistants are also very kind and his administrative staff got an estimate from my insurance so I knew what my financial responsibility would be when I got there. The whole experience was great!

I always heard that root canals are really difficult. This was probably an easier and more pleasant process than many a filling. Can't say enough good about the entire staff and experience.

I had some SERIOUS tooth pain goin on, these guys got me in and pain free in less than 30 minutes, and were done and out in another 30! Seriously appreciate their whole staffs effort!

The staff at South Bend Endodontics was very friendly and helpful with questions I had regarding primary and secondary insurance. The facility was extraordinarily clean and comfortable. Dr. Swanson did did an excellent, pain free, job while preforming my root canal cleaning. I highly recommend SBE

As a former Dental Hygienist, I know what it takes to have an excellent staff & Dr Swanson & his staff has an "At status "in my opinion. Anna worked me in for am Emergancy appoint the same day & Dr .completed my root canal. There was no pain involved , including the anesthetic injections . Lisa & Dr Swanson made the experience a great one! I am so grateful for such a kind, & professional experience

My 10 yr old daughter had to have a Root canal done. She said that the smell of the rubber protector they placed over her tooth was the scent reminder her of Lucky charms Cereal. Dr. Swanson talked her through the process of the procedure, which made her feel comfortable and calm.

I cannot begin to express what a wonderful experience I had with Dr. Swanson and his exceptional staff. I was quite nervous, this was my first root canal. My dentist referred me and told me everyone who returned from their office only had wonderful things to say. He was absolutely right. From the calming aesthetics of the waiting room and procedure room, to the warm and friendly staff, and the pain-free, gentle, and professional treatment of the doctor, I was well taken care of. I was told everything in advance, no surprises, and I felt like it was going to be ok, from the very beginning to the very end. The only downside was I could not participate in the conversation because that also was great! I would highly recommend Dr. Swanson and his practice!

They were able to get me in rather quickly after a horrible experience at a nother endodontic office. I've never had a root canal done and was told how horrible and painful they are so I wasn't lookong forward to this. That and being anxious already, in dental pain and hearing that, I wasn't the easiest patient. It took a bit to numb it but after it was really easy. He was patient and stopped when I needed to numb me more and calm a bit. I only wish I went home with some sort of relief. It's the next day and I can't chew on that side yet cuz it's still sore but the office was great. Very kind, and patient which matters for me. I'm not a great dental patient so I need a place to hold my hand and take that time and they did just that. Good on SB Endodontics.

My first root canal, and could not have gone better. The doctor and nurse were every thing I could ask for. The receptionist was very nice and pleasant as well. The facility was better than spotless. These five stars are well deserved. Joe Wilson, USAF and ISP retired.

Everyone there were great! Very nice and friendly. Dr. Swanson is great at what he does and very thorough on explaining what he is going to do. Also he is a great person and easy to talk to. I recommend him to anyone. Just an overall great experience for me.

I was referred to South Bend Endodontics by my dentist to have a root canal done on a tooth that had a crown and an abscess. I was able to get in within the next week or so. The staff was all very kind and helpful and Dr. Pflum was fantastic! He was kind, considerate, and professional and made sure I went through the procedure knowing exactly what was happening and making sure I had a little to no pain. It is so difficult nowadays to find a place that can give such complete care from all of it staff members. I highly recommend South Bend Endodontics!!

It was my first root canal and I was pretty nervous but they did a great job explaining everything they would be doing and made sure I was good every step of the way. They even asked what kind of music I like so they could put on a Spotify of music that I enjoy! Very friendly, informative, and quick. Dr Swanson and his assistant really took care of me.
