When you are trying to select a new orthodontist to continue your treatment , the steps are: (1) make a list of orthodontists you want to visit (2) schedule the consultation (3) ask for the current orthodontist to provide the pano and x-ray photos (4) go to see the orthodontists on the list (5) new orthodontists provide a draft treatment plan and a quote (6) complete new orthodontist selection (7) complete AAO transfer form to officially transfer to the new orthodontist you've selected. However, it's totally different in South Bay Orthodontics. When I arrived at the office. The receptionist asked me why I didn't bring the AAO transfer form. I said I need a consultation first before signing up the form and I haven't received the signature from my current orthodontist yet. Then she said "per the policy (tbh, I don't know what policy), we cannot give you the consultation since you don't have the AAO transfer form". Then she let me go.

Great staff. We love Dr Sunwoo. Very knowledgeable. So good with kids. Very patient. Answers all queries from parents. Office follows a good covid protocol. Parking is good to find outside the office. Highly recommend!!

From the front office staff to the dental chair - Dr. Sunwoo and his staff provided me a five-star experience in my Invisalign journey. Their two locations granted me a lot of flexibility in scheduling. I highly recommend South Bay Orthodontics to both adults and parents for their kids. Dr. Sunwoo is highly knowledgable and personable. I can't endorse South Bay Orthodontics enough!

From the front office staff to the dental chair - Dr. Sunwoo and his staff provided me a five-star experience in my Invisalign journey. Dr. Sunwoo and his staff are above and beyond what I expected. I am very happy with the decision to have my braces there and it came out great. Everyone at work complimented on my new smile after my braces. I am recommending my friends and co-workers here.

Great orthodontist with outstanding service! The workers have great personalities and are kind and understanding towards patients. They even go an extra step holding raffles monthly. :) I've been a patient for roughly two years and I highly recommend this Ortho.

My son had done his braces here and the results have been beautiful! My daughter is currently getting hers done and we hope for wonderful results for her as well. Our family would recommend this ortho to people of all ages. Kudos to all the staff!

Southbay Orthodontics is a great office! The staff are attentive and efficient. The front desk are quick, understanding, and very patient. Dr. Sunwoo is great with all ages, and even plays kpop every now in then in the office haha.

Dr. Sunwoo's office is very comfortable and professional. Their procedures work very well, the staff is very knowledgeable, and they will explain anything you need them to. I definitely recommend South Bay Orthodontics

This place has always been very welcoming every time I've entered. If you are looking for an orthodontist within a comfortable and friendly environment, this is the place to be. Dr. Sunwoo also has great taste in music.

Dr. Sunwoo and the staff are a fun group, who are easy to relate and talk to. Dr. Sunwoo, especially, is good to talk to about k-pop and BTS. Usually going to a dentist or orthodontist, people feel nervous and afraid. But the easy going personalities of the staff take the fear away. On top of being fun, the staff is hard-working and gets their work done. I definitely recommend South Bay Orthodontics.
