We provide a comfortable, friendly dental experience for patients in our South Bay Cities of Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Rolling Hills, Gardena, Carson, and Palos Verdes. Dr. Maha is proud to be a part of the South Bay community and is determined to provide her patients with excellent, quality dental care. She aims to spread the mantra of Dental Smiles to her community of Torrance, Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes, and the surrounding areas.
Flor has 26 years of experience as a dental office manager in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. She's an expert at billing, insurance claims, patient financing, and treatment planning. She can answer all your questions and will work to make your visit as pleasant and low-key as possible. Flor is passionate about helping our patients receive the smile they deserve and the quality customer care they expect.
Rachel started her career as a dental assistant and moved on to manage the front office. Her professional attitude and gentle demeanor allow her the flexibility to contribute to all aspects of our office. If there are any questions or concerns you may have, she is ready to help.
Jordan is a South Bay local, born and raised. She attended dental hygiene school at San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia, CA. After graduating with honors, she gained employment with this practice in 2018. She is currently continuing her education at San Joaquin Valley College, earning a bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. Jordan is married, and when not working enjoys her time at home with her husband and two children. She has a passion for oral health as it relates to overall health, and is committed to promoting that the perfect smile is a healthy smile. She also enjoys snowboarding and maintaining an active lifestyle with her family.
Ellen brings 28 years of dental experience as a dental assistant. She is the lead assistant to Dr. Boulos and is an integral member of the team. Patient comfort and trust are her goals and she works diligently on making sure that our patients have a comfortable experience in our office. In her spare time, she enjoys making masks for our patients and crocheting blankets for the homeless and the shelters.

A picture explains what words never can, especially when it comes to your teeth. An intraoral camera can take pictures with such detail, it can show cracks and stress marks in a tooth that cant be seen with the naked eye.
Our office uses intraoral digital scanners to create a highly detailed 3D model of your teeth. The resulting 3D surface model is the virtual, time efficient, and safe alternative to traditional plaster models.
Dr. Boulos received her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington, GO Huskies, in Seattle, WA, where she majored in biochemistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors and was recognized with a certificate of service for her commitment to service.
Dr. Maha, as she is known to her patients, decided to pursue dentistry because she wanted to make people feel happier and more confident about themselves. She also recognizes the struggles of those who do not have access to adequate care and is committed to giving back to the community, locally and globally. She has volunteered to provide dental care to the underserved in Jamaica, Jordan, and locally through the events of CDA Cares.
A resident of the South Bay, Dr. Maha lives here with her husband and their three children. Throughout your interactions with Dr. Maha, she tries to put you at ease by taking the time to answer all your questions and address all your concerns.
We believe quality dental care should be affordable and accessible to everyone. Because oral health is so important, we do everything we can to remove financial barriers and help the greatest number of patients possible. We accept most insurance providers and third-party payment alternatives for those without insurance.

South Bay Dental Smiles is an absolute delight! Everyone working there, from reception to the hygienists to Dr. Boulos herself, was incredibly sweet and kind and made my visit so easy and super comfortable. Can't say enough great things about this place!

After an extended absence from the dentist during Covid, I was nervous about all the painful work that needed to be done. Dr. Maha was recommended so enthusiastically that I chose to see her over my regular dentist, located only a block away. Best decision ever. I did require a significant amount of work, but Dr. Maha and her staff were so warm, caring, and inviting that I actually LOOKED FORWARD to my visits. Can't recommend her highly enough.

Dr. Maha is wonderful. She is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. She is also kind and made me feel very comfortable. Crystal was my dental hygienist. This was my first visit with her and she was very gentle and did a great job with my cleaning and taking my X-rays. The office staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this dental practice.

I just had my first appointment at the office since Dr. Smith retired. I'd been seeing Dr. Smith for years, along with my husband and two kids, so he set the bar high. I saw Dr. Maha today and knew immediately I was in very good hands. She was warm and friendly, and clearly knowledgeable. Rachel at the front desk was kind and helpful as always. Dr. Maha's assistant Ellen was wonderful, even offering me a beautiful mask she'd sewn herself at the end of the appt. Flor was very sweet and carefully explained some insurance and financial information I needed. In short, I highly highly recommend Dr. Maha and her team for all your dental needs. Top notch!

This was the best dental experience I have ever had. I was impressed by the thoroughness of everyone from the hygienist to the doctor. Everyone was so kind and informative. I did not feel rushed at all through the process. I highly recommend to anyone. The best experience ever!

RUN FROM THIS DR - CANCEL YOUR APPOINTMENT IF YOU HAVE ONE! My daughter went to Dr. Boulos this week with an infected wisdom tooth and associated pain. After x-rays, they informed her she would need a filling replaced, a ROOT CANAL on another tooth, two crowns, the wisdom tooth removed, and had the gall to try and sell Invisalign! As a side bar, they briefly mentioned she needed a cleaning (which they should have done with the check up). She called me in tears and was terrified of the cost and the procedures. Fortunately she listened to me and went to an HONEST dentist who reviewed the films and was absolutely flabbergasted at their dire, and EXPENSIVE, recommendations. She needed 1 filling replaced, 1 new filling, and a cleaning. She does need the wisdom tooth removed after the infection clears and it drops a little more. This Dr. is the master of scare tactics! Her total would have easily been over $2k after insurance!

We recently moved to the area and had put off finding a new dentist for quite awhile. We found Dr. Maha and felt super comfortable right away when walking in the door. The whole experience was great! I really liked how they explained everything they were doing throughout my entire appointment. I can honestly say that I will not have my pre dentist appointment anxiety when I go back for my cleaning in 6 months! Definitely recommend!

After moving from Colorado (away from a dentist I really felt comfortable with), I was hesitant to find a new dentist as it's always been a very daunting task for me to find one I can trust. Dr. Maha was recommended to my by my cousin who has been going to her for years. This helped alleviate some of my anxiety however, what eliminated it completely was my first visit to the office. I have never had such a warm and welcoming experience with another dentist for my first visit! The office is very modern and the equipment is incredible. I was given explanations about everything I was being shown with regards to my teeth, bite, gum health etc. I felt very educated as to the state of my teeth after the appointment which when I think about it is probably a real first. Normally my teeth just feel clean and I'm happy to go on with my life. This was much better than that! The only downside to my visit? She found a cracked tooth so I needed to come back and get a crown. So far though, that experience has been excellent as well. Overall I couldn't be happier with my experience and I feel that I will highly recommend (as does my cousin) Dr. Maha to anyone who asks for a dental care referral in the future.
