South Bay Dental Arts is a Chula Vista based family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. We are committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and do so using advanced dental equipment. We are a cosmetic dentist that offers services like checkups, teeth cleaning, crowns, veneers and more.
Dr. Raygada was born in Peru. In 1988, he received his Doctor in Dental Surgery degree at Cayetano Heredia Peruvian University. In 2003, he and his family moved to the US after passing the Dental Board Exam and obtaining his DDS degree in California. Dr. Raygada has completed numerous continuing education courses and stays at the forefront of the latest techniques and technology in his field.Dr. Raygada has been in private practice for over 25 years and maintains professional memberships with the American Dental Association.

A crown of mine fell out and Joyce was able to fit me in on the same day I called. Dr. Raygada was great as always and fixed the issue. Since it was also time for my cleaning, Christina took excellent care of me as usual. I highly recommend Dr. Raygada and his team.

I had a dental emergency and the office fit me in their schedule and treated me on the same day I called. Dr. P. Ragada, Lionel and Joyce were wonderful. Everyone is always welcoming and are very personable. They were patient with me while performing emergency dental work. They ensured that I was fine and pain free throughout the procedure. I am so grateful for their expertise and for taking care of me. Thank you!

Been going to this dental office for over 25 years and wouldn't change a thing. Office manager, Joyce is the best in the business. Dr. Raygada is wonderful and calm which I need. Christina the hygienist is wonderful, very gentle and explains everything.

I have had a lot of dental work done over the years and had a few good dentists who are now retired. I recently have been getting dental care from Dr. Raygada at Southbay Dental Arts and he is the best!!! I had one tooth with a small filling that leaked and needed a root canal. Dr. Raygada was able to complete all the work and prepare a crown all in one sitting which was really nice. So nice to have all the work done in one visit with one doctor. Also, he has all the very latest equipment and technology which makes the work easy and comfortable for the patient. I have a lot of allergies and sensitivities and Dr. Raygada and his staff are always careful and gentle and work around all my issues. The office is a beautiful and comfortable and calming place to receive care. Dr. Raygada and his staff at Southbay Dental Arts are the best!!!
