Since 2007, Dr. Shah has offered outstanding dental care focused on prevention and maintaining healthy smiles for life. She enjoys working with the friendly, knowledgeable team at South Arlington Dental Care and joined our practice in 2014. Dr. Shah is a native of Chicago, IL, but grew up in Washington State. She completed her undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Loyola University of Chicago in 2002. Dr. Shah went on to earn her doctor of dental surgery from New York University College of Dentistry, and completed her general practice residency at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey.
Well respected by her peers, Dr. Shah has enjoyed serving dental patients across the US in New Mexico, California, and now Texas. She maintains professional membership in numerous dentistry organizations including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Fort Worth Dental Society, East Texas Dental Society, Arlington Study Club, and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Shah has completed post-graduate training in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, as well as continuing education in numerous dental specialties. Dr. Shah holds certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Level 1 and 2 oral sedation.
Dr. Shah considers Vancouver, WA her hometown, but is proud to have lived in every US time zone. She is happily married to her husband, Chirag Patel. They have a son, born in 2019, and a friendly miniature pinscher, Raja. When she has the opportunity, Dr. Shah loves to travel. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and doing yoga.
Amber joined our team in 2018. As our dental office manager, Amber helps to ensure every aspect of our practice runs smoothly. She loves getting to know patients, supporting her coworkers, and working hard to make a difference and keep patients smiling. Amber is a registered dental assistant, and she maintains certification in nitrous oxide and CPR. Originally from Fort Worth, Amber is the proud mother of one son, Isaac. She grew up in a big family, and she is the oldest of eight siblings. She enjoys spending time with her son and extended family, traveling, and baking.
New to the dental field and to the South Arlington Dental Care team in 2015, Kyle enjoys building relationships with his coworkers and patients and sharing his knowledge and skills to help patients smile more every day. Kyle studied dental assisting at Kaplan College in Arlington after working for 20 years in the mortgage servicing industry.
Cari has 10 years of experience in dentistry and says the best thing about her job is seeing happy patients and working with our wonderful team. Originally from Waxahachie, Cari studied dental assisting at Eastern College and is certified in dental radiology. In her free time, Cari enjoys going to Rangers games, traveling, watching cooking shows (and cooking!), and spending time with her loved ones.
With more than a decade of dental care experience, Julie joined our dentistry team in 2018. She loves working with patients to improve their oral health and leave our office smiling. Julie studied at Amarillo Community College, and she has advanced training in laser therapy to perform low level laser treatment that provide benefits to promote tissue healing and reduce edema, inflammation, pain, and sensitivity. Originally from Amarillo, Julie is happily married, and she has two Shih Tzus. She enjoys shopping, watching comedies and dramas, and going to country and pop rock concerts.

One of the worst experiences I have had in this clinic with Dr Prachi and the hygienist. The Doctor is nice but unfortunately very poor in her skills, the hygienist is rude, greedy and unprofessional. I went to them for pain in 1 tooth and she suggested me 4 crowns and finally persuaded me to have two. After those crowns my life has become miserable. I can not even drink cold water or eat icecream. They also sent me an$400 bill and asked me to pay. When I contacted the insurance, they told me that they needed some documents from the Dentist's office and instead of sending the documents to my insurance they sent the bill to me. So I would NOT recommend this place to anyone if you really care about your health, wealth and quality of life. They will try to rob you of everything.

I've given a review of this business before but after my most recent visit I had to give another shout-out to Dr Shah and her staff. From the moment I first entered the building and checked in with Ms Sante at the front desk( she was so nice!!) and getting my cleaning done by Ms Julie who also was very nice and so reassuring and informative. And last but certainly not least is Mr Kyle, THE nicest guy ever! Those 3 made my visit so much better!

The staff is very friendly and provide encouragement to improve my dental hygiene. I was a little annoyed that after being assured they would confirm my insurance the week prior to my appointment that I had to spend the first 20 minutes with my insurer

My experience today at South Arlington dental care was terrific. I was greeted immediately and the staff introduced themselves and took me back with no wait. Turns out I need a root canal but Dr. Shah provided me with a temporary fix and Brittany scheduled my root canal appointment for me. The staff went above my expectations and I will be switching to them for my regular care going forward.
