Dentistry has been extremely fulfilling to me, professionally and personally. One of my favorite things about my profession is that I get to see my patients time and time again, which allows me to really get to know them. I consider myself lucky to be part of their lives and enjoy the stories and day-to-day conversations we have. Each patient has a unique background, and when they tell me about their experiences and interests, I grow as a person.

Ive been practicing dentistry since 1998. I grew-up with a father who was a dentist and was able to see how gratifying the profession was from all the great stories my dad would tell us around the dinner table. Now, as a second-generation dentist, I have gotten to know three generations of patients and I really feel like our office is part of their families, as they are part of ours.

Professionally, Im passionate about digital technology. It has grown by leaps and bounds, and continues to improve the quality of dental care we are able to provide to people. With todays technological advances, I am able to achieve amazing, painless result. Its wonderful to spend my days improving smiles and restoring an individuals proper dental form and function.

I believe its essential for every dentist to remain current on developments in treatment processes, materials, and patient care. Therefore, I actively pursue continuing education. In addition to being a member of the Premier Study Club, I also attend seminars and conferences and stay up-to-date on the latest research findings. Im an alumni of and a mentor for the Pankey Institute in Florida and an alumni of the Kois Center in Seattle. I am also a faculty member with Align Technologies. As a faculty member, I regularly lecture on Invisalign and digital technologies to other dentists.

After growing up in Federal Way, I now live in Lake Tapps, with my wife Dr. Kathryn Pepe. We met while in dental school, and we have two wonderful children, Henry and Josie, and two family dogs, as well. We love to go on family vacations, ski, boat, and play board games together. When Im not caring for my patients, I enjoy boating and golfing, skiing, and watching the kids play sports.

Dr. Jacobson was elected by area peers as one of Seattle Met magazine's Top Dentist. This was based on Dr. Jacobson's years of experience, contininuing education, manner with patients, use of new technologies and theoverall results he producesin his dental practice.

I consider myself lucky to have a profession where I can change the lives of so many people. Oral health is the gateway to overall health, and as a dentist I work with people of all ages and backgrounds, helping them achieve great dental and body health, and a beautiful smile.

I love getting to know our patients and their families. Its an honor to care for such amazing people, and develop friendships with them. Many feel like members of my own family, and I look forward to their visits as a time to hear the latest news. The conversations we have, and what I learn from my patients during those exchanges, is extremely rewarding.

Ive been practicing dentistry for more than 15 years. The oral healthcare field has always appealed to me. I was an assistant in an oral surgery office and a general dentistry office as a part-time job while in college, and became fascinated with all aspects of oral healthcare, especially the connections with people and ability to improve their lives.

As a dentist, I believe its my responsibility to stay current on changes in my field. I owe it to my patients to provide them with the most effective, up-to-date treatments and care options available. By pursing continuing education courses, at the Kois Center in Seattle and the Pankey Institute in Florida, as well as attending conferences, seminars, and lectures, I am able to stay at the leading-edge of changes in the field. Personally, I love to learn and improve my skills as healthcare provider.

After growing up in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, CA, I attended dental school in Chicago, where I met my husband, Dr. Bret Jacobson. We now live in Lake Tapps, with our two children, Henry and Josie. They are our pride and joy! We also have two adorable dogs.

When Im not caring for my patients, I spend a lot of my free time volunteering at our childrens school, in the classroom. Im a member of the PTA and a board member of the PTSA at the local middle school, too.

Ive been a hygienist with this practice for 26 years and I love getting to know ourpatients and working with them to improve and maintain optimal oral health. I take an integrated approach and emphasize the connection between a healthy mouth and a healthy body.

My work is multifaceted; dental cleanings, periodontal data gatherings, charting, x-rays, anesthetic, health screenings, and many more technical tasks to facilitate the patient towards achieving a healthy mouth. With long tenure, I have developed many special bonds with patients who have become a part of my circle of friends.

The best part of my job is establishing relationships with our patients while helping them improve their oral health. I enjoy providing thorough care to the wonderful people that make their way to my chair. Its important to me that patients are comfortable and have a positive dental experience at every visit. It makes me happy when patients leave smiling.

I work side-by-side with our doctors in all procedures. This entails getting the room ready before a procedure, and then providing chairside assistance, helping the doctor and supporting the patient. Its important that each person in our care know were here to help them bylistening to their concerns. Im always focused on a patients comfort, and will do all I can to make sure every visit is a wonderful, comfortableexperience. It is a good feeling when a patient smiles and thanks me at the end.

Its a joy to help people find their smiles again. When someone has dental health problems, or is in pain, they dont smile. Here, we make it possible for them to smile and laugh comfortably. I work closely with our doctors, as they tend to our patients. From seating a patient and preparing them for a dental procedure, to ensuring they are comfortable throughout the process, Im always aware of their needs, and make sure they feel safe and relaxed while with us. Its great when a patient who was a bit hesitant when they arrived is smiling at the end of their visit.

I am the newest dental assistant in this office and I have been a dental assistant since 2005. I can say I have finally found my dental home! I am always amazed with the time each doctor spends one on one with their patient to fully understand each individuals dental needs and concerns. I strive to always be a positive part of each patients visits to our office. Whatever a patient needs, I do my best to help them, as do the rest of the team members.As the treatment coordinator, I talk with people about the recommendations made by the doctor and explain the treatment process. I answer patient questions about their insurance coverage and how to best utilize their benefits. I am cross trained on all front office duties and enjoy being part of a great office admistrative staff.Additionally, I am able to help support the back office with any needs they may have with my additional background as a dental assistant.I keep busy in our officebeing very much a utliity staff memberin whatever way I can help accomodate our wonderful patients. Im a proud wife and mother. The kids keep my husband and I quite busy and we love the incredible energy and laughter that makes up our home. When Im not working, we love playing in the outdoors and enjoying our family life together.
