Dr. Caroline Labritz gained an interest in dentistry at a young age by working multiple summers and holidays with her father, Dr. P. Ronald Graziani, who maintained a successful practice in Fairmont since 1976. These experiences fueled her desire to eventually follow in his footsteps and pursue dentistry herself.

Dr. Labritz graduated from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2004 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree. She spent her first six years practicing in Morgantown until coming back to Fairmont in 2010 to practice with her father in the Graziani Labritz Dentistry practice.

Feeling a desire to return to Morgantown after years in Fairmont, Dr Labritz made her hope to return a reality in 2016. Now back in Morgantown, she joined forces with Dr. Diana Frum to form Dental Arts which would eventually become Sorriso Dental. Sorriso meaning Smile in Italian, Dr Labritz wanted to pay respects to its previous dentists, Dr. P. Ronald Graziani and Dr. Diana Frum, both of whom have significant Italian heritage.

Dr. Labritz is an avid learner and researcher with a passion for Dentistry. She invests a great deal of time on Continuing Education hours in order to provide the highest quality treatments for her patients. Dr. Labritz is a Fellow of the International Dental Implant Association, member of the American Association of Implant Dentistry, member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Monongalia Dental Association, West Virginia Dental Association, and American Dental Association. With additional training in dental implants, modern Root Canal Therapy, Invisalign, Cosmetic Makeovers, you will find her very knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry.

Patients quickly appreciate her gentle manner and her love for children. Dr. Labritz has a special place for children and prides herself in her ability to calm dental fear in children and make them feel at ease in the office.

After years of training and study she has become a proud member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) with certifications in Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique (SMART) as well as being a board certified Biological Dentist with the International Academy of Biological Dentistry & Medicine (IABDM).

Her specialization into Biological dentistry helps Dr. Labritz to work with patients to find the root cause of their health issues much more than simply diagnosing and treating symptoms and byproducts of patient nutrition, behavior, and disease.

In her personal life, Dr. Labritz is married with two active boys. She enjoys baking, cooking, and getting lost in a great book in her free time. She is very active in both fitness and nutrition; inspired by her passion for overall health.

For ultimate camouflage, tray or aligner systems offer a modern straightening method. Designed with sophisticated software and 3D digital models of your teeth, a series of clear plastic trays are made. Medical-grade plastic without wires, metal, springs, or rubber bands gently moves your teeth into place. Gradual pressure on specific teeth with each aligner means less discomfort and, in many cases, shortened treatment times. Your provider dispenses several sets of aligners at a time, allowing you to change to a new one at home every two weeks.

Removable trays can be set aside for short periods allowing normal eating and cleaning. Enjoying an apple without the intrusion of brackets and wires works well for many patients. And the smooth plastic surface offers a comfort level to the tongue and cheeks unequaled by other forms of straightening.

Committing to consistent wear, at least 22 hours each day, helps ensure the success of your treatment. While clear aligners work extremely well for adults, a responsible teen can be a candidate too. And adults of every age have discovered the perks of straight teeth with aligners.

While aligner treatment works for 90% of straightening cases, some tooth movements may not be possible. Or you may prefer the security of fixed braces. Todays orthodontics offer more choices than ever. Drs. Labritz, Makhdoom, and Blankenship can help you discover the path to a straighter smile.

You may discuss adding whitening to your plan, removing years of yellow stain accumulation. In some cases, the beauty of porcelain lifts a straight smile to another level or may even offer an alternative to orthodontics.

For many years, metals played a key role in restoring damaged teeth. Other materials couldnt match metals strength and durability, but research advancements have created outstanding alternatives. Today, restorative components that mimic natural tooth structure and reflect natural beauty are readily available.

At Sorriso Dental, were committed to restoring teeth with metal-free options whenever possible. Although amalgam holds a long track-record in dentistry, it contains a mix of metals, including mercury. We believe that safely eliminating the use of amalgam is healthier for you and us. That's why we've obtained SMART Certification (Safe Mercury Amalgam Removal Technique) through the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology.

We believe that less treatment is the best form of healthcare. Through conservative methods that disinfect and seal teeth, we help our patients experience less dentistry. A careful, systematic approach preserves vital tooth structure and limits bacterial penetration.

The risk of tooth loss and root canal treatment decreases for patients treated with minimally-invasive dentistry. And by maximizing bonding techniques, we help teeth experience fewer fractures and cracks.

The mouth serves as the gateway to the body. The blood supply that nourishes the mouth reaches every other part of the system in less than 20 seconds. Oral bacterial infections, inflammation, and toxic materials may negatively affect your general health.

*This plan is only honored at Sorriso Dental. It cannot be used at any other dental office. This Is NOT A Dental Insurance Plan. This is a Healthy Mouth Plan. For those diagnosed with Gingivitis, Periodontitis or Gum Disease, there will be modifications to the plan structure and pricing. These changes will be reviewed with and accepted by the patient before any plan is started.

Missed a couple of appointments over a year ago (one that they scheduled without my knowledge) and they won't put me on the schedule. Blankenship is awesome, but their policy is ridiculous. Why would you set your business up for failure?
