Dr. Alek Zand graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry with honors in 2006. After graduating, he moved to Irvine, CA, where he successfully practiced for 7 years. By the end of 2012 he started Sorrento Valley Perfect Smile in beautiful evergreen San Diego.
Dr. Zand is affiliated with American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society in addition to being a participating doctor at CDA Cares events through which he provides dental services at no charge to underprivileged patients.
Dr. Zand has a strong belief in patient awareness. He is committed to educating his patients about existing dental conditions and new approaches to solve any of their dental concerns. Dr. Zand also believes, with modern technology, that dentistry should be a pain-free experience. He uses the most advanced technologies and materials to satisfy his patients needs, and to assure a pleasant experience.

I've been going to Dr. Zand's office for a while now and he and his staff are extremely skilled and friendly. The office has a beautiful, modern, and clean look. The equipment there is top notch. I haven't experienced any discomfort caused by Dr. Zand and the hygienist, unlike some other dental offices I've been to before. Cleanings have been super thorough and they've been very helpful with dental advice. I am extremely happy with Dr. Zand and his team! Highly recommend!!

Dr. Alek Zand and his team are very professional and friendly. Their work is really good. They don't try to sell services which we don't really need unlike some other dentist offices where I have been before. I have been going to them for almost 11 years now!

I have dental Insurance and before doing the treatment with the doctor I made sure and asked several times about my co pay. They said 144 USD which i paid on spot and rest was covered by my Insurance. Now after 3 months they're calling me and saying I have a balance on 400USD which my Insurance didn't cover. Stay away from this place and save yourself some trouble!
