When people meet Dr. Golnaz during their initial visit, they are immediately at ease thanks to her friendly demeanor and inviting smile. Dr. Golnaz believes that achieving your smile goals starts with a strong patient-dentist relationship. That's why she emphasizes bedside manner and takes great care in making you feel comfortable. After all, you both have the same goal - a beautiful and healthy smile!

She believes that collaborating and listening to her patients is the key to finding the solutions they need. At Sopris Smiles, she has created the ideal dental environment, one designed to give every patient the same treatment she would give to her own family.

Growing up with a mother who owned her own small business gave Dr. Golnaz a profound appreciation for the hard work and dedication it takes to run a successful business. This experience also taught her the value of treating people with kindness and how to interact with her patients at a human level.

When thinking about the most rewarding aspect of heading her own dental practice, Dr. Golnaz says: 'The sense of pride that comes along with building a place in a community where people respect you and trust you with their care captivated me.'

Dr. Golnaz was born and raised in the Bay Area in Northern California, but after one trip to Colorado, she knew it was the place for her and decided to relocate shortly after her undergraduate studies.

She then attended Dental School in sunny Florida at LECOM School of Dental Medicine. To this day, she continues to expand her knowledge and has completed over 100 hours of continuing education thus far.

Just like your body needs vitamins and exercise to enhance its defenses against disease and injury, your teeth need protection against decay. Accordingly, fluoride is one of the most potent means for reinforcing your teeth against cavities and other forms of dental damage. At Sopris Smiles, we want to ensure that your teeth remain healthy for years to come, and we can help you achieve this through our highly effective fluoride treatments in Englewood.

Fluoride can bind to the partially eroded minerals in your tooth enamel. When this happens, it creates a protective film over your teeth, especially in the areas left most vulnerable after a bout with tooth decay. Fluoride also attracts calcium and phosphate ions to the teeth, making them stronger and more resistant to cavities.

During the developmental years, fluoride can attach to the tooth structures and make growing teeth stronger and more resilient. Kids are more likely to develop cavities than adults, making fluoride a valuable aspect of any childs oral health routine.

The role of fluoride changes as you age. Adults have different diets, tend to consume alcohol, and are generally more exposed to variables that erode the minerals of your tooth enamel. Fluoride treatments in adulthood help reinforce your teeth and counter the effects of aging.
