When people meet Dr. Golnaz during their initial visit, they are immediately at ease thanks to her friendly demeanor and inviting smile. Dr. Golnaz believes that achieving your smile goals starts with a strong patient-dentist relationship. That's why she emphasizes bedside manner and takes great care in making you feel comfortable. Growing up with a mother who owned her own small business gave Dr. Golnaz a profound appreciation for the hard work and dedication it takes to run a successful business. This experience also taught her the value of treating people with kindness and how to interact with her patients at a human level.
When thinking about the most rewarding aspect of heading her own dental practice, Dr. Golnaz says: 'The sense of pride that comes along with building a place in a community where people respect you and trust you with their care captivated me.'
Dr. Golnaz was born and raised in the Bay Area in Northern California, but after one trip to Colorado, she knew it was the place for her and decided to relocate shortly after her undergraduate studies.
She then attended Dental School in sunny Florida at LECOM School of Dental Medicine. To this day, she continues to expand her knowledge and has completed over 100 hours of continuing education thus far.
Jeniffer got into the administration side of dentistry in 2015 and immediately fell in love with the job. She enjoys interacting with people daily and loves to see patients leave happy with their beautiful smiles.
She finds it rewarding to assist patients with insurance and help them understand their estimates for treatment plans. Jennifer is always looking for new ways to provide an excellent dental experience to our patients from her front desk position.
She often enjoys changing the stigma on dentistry and making people feel comfortable in any circumstance at the office. When she's not taking care of patients you can usually find her working out or hanging out with her boyfriend and her dog Odin.
Hannah completed Dental Hygiene school at Wallace State Community College in Cullman, Alabama. She relocated to Colorado in the summer of 2021. Having a gentle hand along with a kind, compassionate bedside manner is what Hannah strives to provide each patient in the dental chair. She understands how fearful a dental visit can be for some and prioritizes putting dental anxieties at ease by focusing on giving each patient the customized care that they need. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, and live music.

Sopris Smiles is the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr Golnaz and her entire staff were so nice and professional. They explained everything they were doing in detail so no surprises, and no pain at all! I just moved to Colorado and was nervous about finding a new dentist- me and my entire family will be going to Sopris Smiles for all our dental needs.

I took my mom there several times to get her dentures fixed and they still hurt her mouth and they are still inoperable. I will be taking her to another dentist to fix them.

The ladies at Sopris are PHENOMENAL! Apart from the incredible care they take with their patients, they are simply wonderful (and hilarious!) to be around. I'll be trying to get in about once a month to get my teeth cleaned at this rate. Shoutout to Kiersten for bringing that certain je ne sais quoi :D

I have never experienced a more welcoming, and friendly staff! They managed to get me in right away for a root canal consultation (IDK the technical terms...), gave me a great cleaning, and THEN even repaired a damage filling right then and there. I am truly glad/fortunate to have them on my team. Thank you so much for being so kind, friendly, and fun :)

Dr. Golnaz & the ladies at Sopris are the absolute best! I usually hate going to the dentist, but Dr. Golnaz changed that for me. She's extremely meticulous and really goes the extra mile to listen and address any concerns you may have. I was told from my previous dentist that a lot of issues I had with my teeth were unfixable, but when I discussed them with Dr. Golnaz, she said those fixes were no problem! One of those issues being Invisalign...I had previous dentists/orthos tell me my open bite was untreatable with Invisalign, but Dr. Golnaz made it happen! She was very communicative through the whole process and I finally have the smile I've been dreaming of and can fully bite down on food (which is life changing). If you've been trying to find a new dentist, look no further!

Sopris Smiles is amazing! I recently went in for a cleaning and had a wonderful experience with them. I normally have high dental anxiety but the staff provided exceptional quality and care when working with me. When I met with Dr. Golnaz she was very kind and compassionate which gave me the sense she genuinely cared about me as a patient which helped put me at ease. They also offered several options like laughing gas, headphones, and Netflix which also helps alleviate dental anxiety. Overall I would highly recommend using this practice. The front desk, hygienist, and Dr all provided a lovely experience!
