Deirmenjian and Affiliates, he serves patients at many multi-specialty facilities in California, including Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley, Riverside and San Bernardino counties and has just added three new locations in the San Diego area.
With nineteen locations in California, B. Deirmenjian and Affiliates serve patients of all ages, from all backgrounds, and from every walk of life. The team of specialists, general dentists, assistants, and benefit coordinators offer a number of services, including: cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, endodontics, family dentistry, oral surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and periodontics. Before entering private practice, Dr. Deirmenjian served as Dental Director at Guards Dental, where he demonstrated strong leadership skills in operating over 40 locations. Subsequently, he established his own family dental private practices, Smiles West, Desert Dental Group, and Ponderosa Dental Group.
To prepare for his career, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California at Irvine, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1988. Furthering his studies, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in 1999.
Remaining abreast of the latest dental developments, Dr. Deirmenjian is an active member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. He is also a peer-review member at MetLife Insurance and Liberty Dental, sits on the advisory committee of Henry Schein Dental, is a UCLA adjunct professor, and is board-certified by the Dental Board of California.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.
An active member of his community, Dr. Deirmenjian truly enjoys helping the less fortunate and volunteering when he can with food drives and community outreach initiatives. Previously, he has participated in pro bono work for human trafficking victims in the Los Angeles area. Everybody there was very friendly, and knew what they were doing. The only issue i had, was that no one there explained anything of the work needed to be done. Yes, i know they asked me if i had any questions, but that was before i was sent to the front desk where they gave me the quote showing all the work that i need done and about the 80% of the amount i have to pay out of my own pocket. I was kind of in shock when i saw the quote, maybe that's why i didn't ask questions then. I'm not badging the place, i just think they should've done a little more explaining. I am going back so they can explain to me everything in detail cause i think it's a good, friendly, knowledgeable place. And i think i will have my work done there, cause i do need it.

Misdiagnosed root canal repair. Referred to endedontist where was advised tooth needs to be removed and he could not understand why dentist did not see this. Office staff is awful, entering incorrect appt times, not entering appts in their system. Never returning phone calls. I could go on, but why bother.

I had a crown to come out and the dentist took me in the same day and was able to get it back in at no charge. All of the staff were very nice and helpful.

Staff is friendly. Dental hygienist is gentle with the cleaning. She also does a lot of teaching about the care of ones teeth and gums. I'm happy that they will be moving back to Chula Vista. The drive for me was a little far.

Your office and staff DO NOT deserve a speck of a 1 star rating, and that is saying a lot. My experience with the staff is a joke, the "MANAGER" Andrea, is even a disgrace to this office. We received a statement for the first time with no description, no date of service, no description of service, and no indication that our insurance was ever billed. Yet, your statement indicated a "BALANCE FORWARD", your account is past due! Yesterday, I called the Chula Vista office and talked to Andrea, without asking who I am, my telephone # or the reason for my call, she was very fast in getting me off the phone, by saying "WE ARE VERY BUSY" a call back can take about a week. Where is your compassion and care for your patients? Classic example of being unprofessional. Today, we get another call from the office asking for $. I was at work when I got the call, and could not talk. When I called I talked to Natalia at your Convoy office at this time, Natalia indicated that Andrea is gone for the day. Your office is in serious need of HELP! Hire people that are CARING for one. PROFESSIONAL could not hurt. COMPETENCE is a MUST. You have our insurance information, should you care to take care of this matter once and for all for the sake of getting some $ from the insurance company for the services you provided. After all I am assuming that's how everyone get paid at your office. I will forward your "BALANCE FORWARD" please pay statement to my insurance and attorney for records. Do not send me anymore statement with no itemization. P.S. I have called multiple times already and provided both insurance information to ANDREA. Does not look like she cares enough to update and bill the proper insurance to get paid. FYI, your office is a contracted provider of my policy. There is such thing as untimely filing.

Came here.. 6 months later ALL the fillings and ALL the work they did are cracked, broken or fell off. Actually worst off then before. Did I mention I caught an infection from there?

DO NOT GO HERE. The work does NOT last. All 4 of my fillings fell off in 1 year. Prior fillings they took off lasted 20 years!!. Now they are saying Tough Luck. They DO NOT CARE. Just want your insurance money and like a dishonest Autoshop. Will add unnecessary work. AVOID AVOID AVOID. And before you respond and say to give a call.. I DID DO THAT. 3x! And all 3x all you guys care about is money. Well before we speak of money.. shouldn't you guarantee your work or have some pride for it to last??!!

I was a patient for the Orthodontists before Sonrisa took over the previous Dental Care. After Sonrisa took over there have been numerous accounts of lack of good customer service. The receptionists made mistakes to my sister and I's appointments, they made us wait more than when they said they were going to be done (said they would be done at 3, my parents and sister waited until an hour later), and overall lack of communication between the workers concerning the patients. Scheduling lately has also been horrendous. Multiple accounts of "You weren't scheduled today" when we called on rescheduling, and even when scheduling for my next appointment at the building. Even right now, I am calling them, no answer after 5 tries. 5 long rings and they still have not picked up. Their dental care isn't bad, it's mainly the receptionists and customer service. If you want a good ortho/dentist with good communication, I recommend skipping over this one.

Horrible Experience. Caught a horrible infection! Doctor at Kaiser said it was due to Dentis negligence and could have been 100% avoidable to the average dentist coming out of school. What else do you need to know about this place?? AVOID AVOID AVOID. Your teeth will end up being worst. And they charged extra for unnecessary work. AVOID AVOID AVOID. DISHONEST. I wish we lived in an honest world but this place is just disgusting. The Oddasity of the activities they try to cheat people.

I want to rate this place a Zero but I cant. I want to give a negative feedback but I cant. Its simply not worth the energy or would NOT describe how I feel about this place. Before I came here, my fillings lasted over 30 years. I come here and they make all these recommendations.. replace all fillings and pull this and that tooth out. Now that I think of it.. I was just a naive customer that was profit in their minds. I think 90% of the work was NOT needed. And even if they were.. the Fix up did NOT last a year! I could not make an appt due to Covid so 1.5 years later.. NO WARRANTY or pride in their work. They pulled a tooth out that didnt need to be.. and I caught a heavy infection for 2 weeks. This was very rare too.. 1 in 100 would get it but I got it here! Lemme put this in retrospect again.. Prior fillings lasted 25 years. New replacement fillings ALL FELL OFF AND BROKE in less than 18 months! And I'm Plant Based that eats NO MEAT. my teeth are broken all around.. up and down. Big holes where fillings used to be! Yet if I dont have insurance.. they wont Warranty their work! Lesson? Dont go to anyone who has NO pride in their work. Let alone the human decency and common sense between Right and wrong. They are going to reply to this Review with the same reply to give them a call to look good in reviews.. but the problem is I have called more than 5x. Same outcome. I told them I would leave a bad review.. GO AHEAD AND DO IT. MAKE OUR DAY. So here I am.. I guess I'm just Out of Luck. I should have taken the advice to go to National City where the Filipino Dentists have more pride in their work. You know how u can tell when a business is ALL about money and NOT their customers?? Well this is that UNPROFESSIONAL place. YOUR TEETH WILL BE WORST THAN BEFORE AFTER 1 YEAR. Not a single piece of their work has lasted. PLEASE AVOID. This is TJ DENTIST WORK for US dollars.. no other way to describe it.
