Dr. Ito is a friendly, passionate dentist who is invested in his community and in providing the best dental services in Phoenix for General, Family, Cosmetic, and Emergency Dentistry. Relationships are a priority for Dr. Ito, and this can be seen in the sincere interest and concern he has for all his patients and the strong partnerships he has throughout the community.
Dr. Ito loves all sports, is a big fan of our local teams (Go Cards! Go Suns!) and enjoys Fantasy Football and March Madness. He can be found playing tennis on a weekly basis, hiking and trail running, and loves movies and music. He and his wife Kristin have raised their two children in Ahwatukee and love to be part of the community. Over the years hes coached local youth sports including tennis, flag football and basketball, and volunteered with Boy Scouts of America.

I've been coming to Sonoran Hills Dental since 2005. Their professionalism and patient care are 2nd to none! I was very nervous about dental care at first, but Dr. Ito and Jennifer (dental hygienist) have calmed my nerves and made my visits something to look forward to. I'm very happy with my dental health now, thanks to Sonoran Hills Dental!

I've been seeing Dr Itto for 8 years now after living in San Diego for 30. I did try other places and I found dishonesty and not so nice people. Dr Itto has great qualities. Conservative, honest and gentle. Jennifer does my 2x year cleaning and has been with him before I was a patient. She is excellent at what she does and nice to be able to have the same person for that many years. If you need a dentist please don't hesitate to use him. I'm very picky with dentist and was thankful I found him.

I was in need of finding a new dentist. I had a horrible experience with my last dentist. I know things happen, but I decided to find a new office. I just had my new patient visit. My Hygienist was so sweet and made me so comfortable. Both her and the Dentist have great personality and made me very comfortable with their work. I look forward to working with them for my future dental needs. Visit one is in the books. So far so good.

The staff were very friendly including the front desk, dentist and hygienist. Hygienist did a thorough job with cleaning, although my gums were sore for couple hours after that. They were quite honest and did not recommend any crown or root canal treatment unlike other practices.

Me and my two kids have been seeing Dr. Ito for a couple of years. He's a great dentist and very trustworthy. However the front desk staff has changed. I called to book my cleaning and Kristen accused me of no call no showing for multiple appointments which is completely false. I was late to one appointment (called ahead to let them know and showed up) and therefore was not able to be seen but never did I no call no show. She told me I could not book without putting a deposit down which is not ok given that the front desk staff is falsely accusing me. I feel uncomfortable going to this dentist now which is unfortunate because this was our go to office for years and who I recommended many friends and family to go to as well. I will be finding another dentist office for me and my family.

Worst experience I've ever had with a dentist. Which is too bad because the staff was very friendly especially (Rose) she does a great job. The dentist himself was very friendly and fun to talk to until it came down to integrity. I went in for a few small fillings between three teeth.. The dentist had to remove a wire that was holding the last two teeth together in order to do the fillings between them. He did the fillings. I thought all was well.. I thanked him and left. As I drove away I decided to look into the mirror. My stomach sank as I noticed two black holes and staining on the two last teeth that the fillings were done on in the place where the wire was removed. I imminently drove back and asked why I still had cavities there and his response was he didn't even see that. How could he not have seen those dark holes in my teeth when he's the one who removed the wire? He was being dishonest! He let me leave like that without disguising the issue that arose. He lacks integrity. And to cover up his dishonesty, he lied about not seeing it! Then he proceeded to yell at me that it's not his fault and what did I expect him to do...That it's cause of the wire. Well of course it's cause of the wire but he failed to notify me about it and he left my tooth exposed because when he removed the wire he also removed the protective layer of my tooth without fixing it. I experienced chronic nerve pain and my jaw went out of place because I couldn't eat on that side. I was let down and mistreated! He did not complete the work he failed me. I Will file a complaint with the ADA and the Better Business Bureau as well as an appeal with my insurance as I had to have the work redone and completed by another more honest dentist! My husband and daughter both had bad experiences as well. Enter at your own risk. Being friendly is not enough! After writing this review I received a phone call from the dentist wife. She apologized for our bad experiences and agreed to reverse the charges to my insurance for myself my husband and my daughter. I do appreciate the phone call and the gesture of reversal to make things right. And I do hope that this does not happen to anyone else.

I see why this place only has 5 star reviews! I came to this dentist seeking a 2nd opinion on a $1300 cleaning treatment another dentist told me I needed. The staff here carefully examined my teeth and reviewed the X-rays and gave me their honest opinion that only a regular $100 cleaning was needed. If you are looking for a dentist that is honest and not just going to charge for unnecessary treatments, this is your place. I had the normal cleaning done with them and the hygienist was extremely thorough, gentle, and friendly.

My search for a new dentist is over. Dr. Ito and his staff are the bomb. I can't remember having a more thorough cleaning and exam. The staff is courteous, professional, and caring. Dr. Ito was engaging and made me feel welcome as though I had been his patient for ten years.
