Sonoma Smiles is located in the heart of Sonoma County very close to Sonoma State University. Our office is located just 2 buildings west of Sunrise Park on Medical Center Drive, at 1330 Medical Center Drive Suite #1. We're just 1 block north of the Rohnert Park Expressway off of Snyder Lane
Dr Sutton is fast becoming recognized as one of Sonoma Countys premier cosmetic dentists. He has undergone extensive training in cosmetic dentistry through one of the worlds finest post graduate training institutions, The Pacific Aesthetic Continuum in San Francisco. He has also studied Advanced Occlusion at the prestigious Hornbrook Group. Dr. Sutton received his Doctorate in 1997 from UCSF School of Dentistry and has three years experience as a clinical instructor at UCSF. He was the only recipient for the coveted Clinical Excellence Award in 1997. In 2006, Dr. Sutton became one of the first dentists in Northern California to earn his Fellowship in the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics. Dr. Sutton is very passionate about continuing education where he takes over 4 times the requirements yearly to maintain licensure in the state.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (awarded his Fellowship), the Academy of General Dentistry (Fellowships status), the American Dental Implant Association (Diplomat status) and the American Dental Association. Dr. Sutton is also a member of the American Academy for Dental Sleep Medicine. It is his goal to help educate the public about the dangers of sleep apnea and offer testing and treatment options. Dr. Sutton often gives lectures to local groups about dental technology and cosmetic dentistry. As one of the most experienced dentists in Sonoma County at the use of Sedation techniques, he is sought out by hundreds of patients each year to provide comprehensive dental care in a comfortable, pain free environment.
Dr. Sutton has educational programs where he trains other dentists in the art and science of cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry. He has produced and manufactured an educational DVD entitled Simplified Smile Design. Dr. Sutton is one of a select group of cosmetic dentists to be recognized as an Official Dentist of the Mrs. Globe Mrs. USA Pageants. His life-time goal is to become one of the premier cosmetic dentists is the world by constantly critiquing his own work in an honest and analytical manner. He believes that beauty of the fine arts can be applied to aesthetics in smile design. It is to this end that he continually strives in a singular purpose. Most recently, Dr. Sutton has an implant center where he and his partner can deliver predictable full mouth dental implant reconstructions using the strongest dental implant bridge available today.
Dr. Sutton has owned his private practices located in Rohnert Park for over 20 years where his major focus is cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry including implant surgery using conscious sedation. Dr. Sutton has been happily married to his wife Michele for 27 years and has two sons in college. Both young men are Eagle Scouts and are well on their way to a bright future. Dr. Suttons hobbies include wine tasting, fishing, photography and hiking with his family and friends.
Dr. Raion Ryan Sabo is a board-eligible prosthodontist who specializes in complex oral rehabilitations involving dental implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, and fixed and removable dental prostheses. Dr. Sabo is a native of South Lake Tahoe, California and relocated to the SF Bay Area to attend UC Berkeley. Dr. Sabo earned his Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Biology from UC Berkeley while also competing for the NCAA Division 1 Cal Mens Gymnastics Team. Dr. Sabo earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from UCSF School of Dentistry where his excellence in leadership, clinical dentistry, and academics was rewarded with numerous awards such as the American Student Dental Association Award of Excellence, the Hanau Best of The Best in Prosthodontics Award, and induction into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
His passion for esthetics, complex reconstructions, and evidence-based dentistry led him to an additional 3-years of post-graduate training in Prosthodontics at West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Medical Center. During his residency at the West Los Angeles VAMC, he served as the Chief Prosthodontics Resident and taught at UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dr. Sabo strives to provide innovative, exceptional-quality dental care while maintaining a compassionate and patient-centered focus. He prides himself in providing treatment that not only addresses current oral health problems but also provides predictable long-term solutions that are maintainable, comfortable, and functional. When Dr. Sabo is not creating beautiful smiles, he enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, visiting Disney theme parks, spending time with his family, and supporting his favorite bay area sports teams.
Linda has been in the dental field for many years as an office manager. Her passion for dentistry helped her to launch her own dental consulting business. Linda keeps the office on track with the financial portion of dentistry. As a courtesy, Linda works very closely with our patients insurance plans, and explains to our patients the details involved with their insurance plans.
Linda currently resides in Rohnert Park. She is a mom to two grown children, her son Nicholas and daughter Samantha. When she is not busy working, she spends her time exercising, biking, walking, dancing and spending time with her friends and family and of course her dog Bodie.
Brenda Perez has been with Sonoma Smiles since August 2018. She received her Associate in Dental Hygiene from Santa Rosa Junior College. Brenda enjoys talking to her patients about dental care or oral hygiene. She does her absolute best in helping her patients improve their dental education and experience. She is also truly thankful for having found a great team to work with every day.
Suzy was born and raised in Sonoma County, and received her Bachelors degree from the University of Santa Cruz in 2003 and later attended dental hygiene school at the Santa Rosa Junior College. She enjoys her work as a dental hygienist and truly looks forward to going to work each day.
When she is not assisting patients at the practice, she likes eating at new restaurants, traveling, relaxing in the sun, or reading a good book. She also invests in quality time with her family and friends, especially her children.
Shannon is a dental hygienist on Dr. Wayne Suttons team. She obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara. While attending UCSB, she interned at a dental office where she quickly became zealous about dentistry. She further explored the interest and earned a degree in Dental Hygiene with high honors from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry.
Shannon is passionate about dental health. She makes it a priority to educate and encourage patients on how to maintain good oral health. Shannon enjoys, cooking and drinking wine with friends and family.
After studying dental assisting at Blake Austin College in Vacaville CA., Sara received her RDA license in 2016. For the first 4 years in her career she specialized in pediatrics and children with special needs. Sara recently joined our team and is eager to get to know her patients and assist them will all their dental needs.
When Sara is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and family, usually pool side. She enjoys he outdoors and is a total foodie. You can usually find her exploring the menu at the newest local restaurants!
She started in sterilization about 4 years ago learned everything on the job. She flew to San Diego to get her x-ray license and Infection control certifications. She began assisting as a DA in huge Implant Sedation Surgeries. Just this year she passed her RDA exam and is certified. After receiving all her other certifications.
On her days off you can find her on an outdoor adventure usually at the river lake or beach soaking up the rays, listening to country music. She also loves hanging out with her friends and loves camping.
Before getting into the dental field Sam went to school to become an Esthetician which she believes helps her today with her keen eye for the esthetic part of the practice. Sam has been working with Sonoma Smiles since December of 2017 starting off as a sterilization tech and quickly moved into general dental assistant procedures with Dr. Sutton. Sam took a short leave from the practice and when returning back with the team began working with the front office staff. Today Sam, our primary treatment plan coordinator, works hand and hand with Dr. Sutton to go over any treatment needed with each patients individual needs.
