Dr. Sonny Davis is a highly skilled board certified general dentist who has been in private practice in Fort Walton Beach for over 15 years. He successfully combines the science of dentistry with the artistic opportunities of cosmetic dentistry. His patients choose his practice because they trust his experience, dedication, compassionate care and respect for every patient.
After obtaining a bachelor of science degree in biology from Florida Sate University, Dr. Davis received his DMD degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, graduating with honors. He came home and began his practice in Fort Walton Beach. Dr. Davis built a state of the art dental facility in downtown Fort Walton Beach in 2009. While his practice has grown and his office has become a well-known dental facility, it remains an intimate setting. Dr. Davis works with patients presenting a variety of dental challenges... from routine restorations to entire smile makeovers. Many patients who move from the area still travel back to Fort Walton Beach to continue having him provide their dental care. His skills and compassion have changed the lives of many patients in a positive, tangible way.
Dr. Davis encourages a happy workplace and patients appreciate that atmosphere as soon as they enter the building. This attitude creates an optimistic and productive office environment for both patients and staff members.

Donna is the Office Manager at Sonny Davis DMD PA. She has been with the practice since 2006 and in the dental field since 1988. Her vast experience provides her with the ability to help with every aspect of the practice. She completed her bachelors degree in project management and human resources at Northwest Florida State College. In her spare time she loves taking care of her animals, listening to music and reading.
Jeanne is our Scheduling Coordinator. She loves interacting with the patients and helping assist them with their every need. She has more than 30 years dental experience and uses that to help patients feel comfortable and at ease. She treats each day as an opportunity to learn something new and exciting. Patients and coworkers know they can ask Jeanne anything and she is always openminded and willing to solve whatever challenge is put before her
Cadence is our Insurance Coordinator and has become an important part of our team. She has helped our team and patients understand their insurance coverages. Cadence is the sister to one of our hygienists, Michel. They grew up in Georgia but now make Florida their home. Cadence has two wonderful daughters, Amelia and Stella. Her husband, Adam is a Captain of a fishing boat in Destin. Cadence's family has two dogs, two cats, two hamsters and five fish!
Lindsey has been Dr. Davis' chairside assistant for most of his dental career. She finished the dental assisting program at Concorde Career Institute in 2004. She loves everything about the practice; from getting to know patients like family to providing the best dental care around. She loves assisting Dr. Davis design and create beautiful smiles. When she is not working, you can find her at the beach with her husband and two boys.
Tarin has been with our practice since 2015. She works as a chairside assistante andbrings with her many years of experience in dentistry. She has multiple certifications from Old Dominion University and the University of Virginia. Tarin is from a military family and has travelled extensively overseas and throughout the United States. She decided to settle down in Crestview to raise her four beautiful boys. She is always striving to educate herself in different areas. She enjoys football, basketball and the beach.
Chrissy graduated from Gulf Coast Community College in 2014 with an associates degree in dental hygiene. She has been working with Dr. Davis since January 2018. It is her goal to make every patient feel comfortable and build trusting relationships. She has two daughters and a granddaughter whom she adores. In her spare time she enjoys camping, kayaking and spending quality time with family and friends.
Michel graduated from Clayton State University in 2008. She's been with Dr. Davis since 2010. Her favorite thing about her job is getting to know her patients. She is passionate about creating a good experience for kids and anxious patients to set up a foundation for good dental experiences forever! If she's not cleaning teeth, she's probably in Disney with her husband and two girls. Her dog, Walt, deserves a mention as well.
Tami has been in dentistry for over 25 years. She was a dental assistant until she furthered her education to dental hygienist 1n 2015 with an Associates of Science. Tami enjoys exercising, boating, the beach and sports. She has 3 sons and a dog named Cooper and lives in Destin.

This place is "First Class"! I have never been to a dentist that makes you feel so comfortable! Trust me, no need to be afraid of the Dentist (there are some big adult babies out there :)they explain everything to you about your visit. lol

Today was my first visit at this dentist office. I just want to say from the lady checking me in, to the lady that cleaned my teeth , and then the dentist himself, they were all so kind! I felt like I'd been going there for years. Very laid back environment. Dr sonny Davis, you have a wonderful staff, and that is hard to come by! (Also, I had stopped going to the dentist for about a year, so my cleaning took a little longer, the hygienist took her time and was very gentle.) Thank you for a wonderful visit today.

Dr. Davis and his staff are first-rate and brilliant! They have come in on a Sunday morning when I had an infected tooth and are always so accommodating and hospitable. I cannot imagine seeing anyone else on the Emerald Coast, they are the whole package!!!

Proffessional, courteous dr and staff. Moved into area and was told by former dentist i needed root canal/ crown. Felt i needed to find local dr as that process would require time & travel if i continued with former dentist. Dr sonny saved my tooth, no root canal! It has been 6 mos. I am very happy!

High quality dentistry and good staff in an excellent super-clean hi-tech facility, but, above all, a commitment to customer service you won't find from most dentists. About ten years ago he came in on a Saturday or Sunday to deal with a pain issue after I called his emergency #. This week (Jan 2020) I emailed his office on a Sunday evening to say I had split a tooth down the middle. He fitted me in Monday at 9.30am, and fixed the problem Tuesday by 4.00pm. He's EXCELLENT!

I grew up close friends with my childhood dentist's kids and I have always gone home for dental work. It's been awhile and I needed to be seen for a broken tooth. The receptionist was very helpful over the phone and got me in within the week. Went in today and everyone was so welcoming. It was like I'd known them my whole life. The receptionist was just as nice and fun in person as she was on the phone. My hygienist was hilarious and we talked about everything under the sun. I even got to cut up with hygienists and students not responsible for my care. I heard people laughing in different parts of the office throughout my visit. Doc was so personable and caring. I have never had such a good first visit with a doctor. Safe to say, I will not be driving to Kentucky for my dental work any longer.

Always be sure to get an accurate estimate of future work. Not once but twice I have been charged $300-600 more than the estimate. Always an excuse so unless you have money to throw away I do not recommend this place.

Very disappointed with the office staff/front desk receptionist. I called on Monday to schedule a cleaning for my two daughters. To my surprise the lady said she could schedule me that day but I had to work. She then told me she could schedule me Wednesday. She confirmed my daughters spots on Wednesday at what it sounded like was 2:50pm. We arrived a few minutes early to the lady smiling saying "oh you were actually scheduled at 2:20pm" I tell her that I was told 2:50pm and I didn't receive any notification email/text confirming the time. She then checks the phone number which they entered incorrectly and said "oh yes we were trying to call you but the number wasn't working" So I arrange my schedule and take off of work to find out I was given the wrong time and you listed my number incorrectly! The clerk then smiles and tells me that she'll have to reschedule me. When looking at evening slots she said she couldn't get me in for another 2 weeks?? Just the other day you had openings and I could get in so quickly. I refused and left because of the poor customer service and willingness to try to make their error correct. We'll be taking our business elsewhere. Unfortunately I can't leave a review about the dentist because we never made it that far.
