Posting a review I made previously as they recently again are trying to bill me for appointments that I never had. Strongly recommend finding somewhere else to go for your dental needs. I came to Song Oral Surgery to have my wisdom teeth removed. Dr Young did my procedure and was very friendly and professional. There was a complication with the procedure that caused me pain (since my nerve was exposed) and I had to come back to get my gum filled in. While that was fine the billing department of this office is completely inept. They gave me a wildly inaccurate cost estimate, and then continued to bill me for procedures to fix the mistake they made! They also then tried to charge me for appointments that I never had. Calling them goes to a blackhole as they never pick up the phone. Stay away.

Terrible experience. They only want to inject you with Botox. Incapable of properly reading pathology or radiology. Only interested in suggesting over priced treatments instead of actual resolution of symptoms. Disregarded Stanford diagnosis in favor of his own opinion that made no sense.

Dr. Gupta, Rachel, Jamie, and the staff at Song Oral Surgery are the absolute best that I've ever come across and I highly recommend them. I've been a patient of Dr. Gupta's for over two years now, and he's always so thoughtful, kind, and patient (especially with my millions of questions), and I feel like he truly cares about me and my teeth journey. I've had a tooth extraction, a bone graft, and an implant placed by him, and I wouldn't trust anyone else drilling into my mouth His expertise and experience in the area really shows, and he really makes patients feel like they are each, individually, his sole focus. He's very personable and easy to chat with. During a time of an urgent gum issue, the team got me set up with Dr. Silva for the next morning who was also amazing. Rachel and Jamie are also fantastic and their commitment to a positive patient experience is unparalleled. I can't recommend this practice enough!

Poor virtual timeliness and communication. I Had successful surgery in Jan 2017, in which I ensured my insurance covered the operation prior to having the surgery and paid my copay upfront. Three and a half years later, yes Years, Song Oral Surgery sent me an invoice to my very old address, for the copay again, $500, claiming my dental insurance did not cover it. I have received emails telling me to call them with any issues with my invoice, however I live internationally and cannot call. Their financial department do NOT respond to emails despite emailing them multiple times. Extremely inflexible in this virtual era. Similar experience to ms Li's review

I would give Dr. Silva 10 stars, I had a bone graft and implant with her and she was fabulous. She is gentle, kind, patient and very caring and always available to answer questions. I recommend her highly, she also took my wisdom tooth out a few years back. I am an anxious patient but she made me feel very comfortable. The billing and assisting staff is polite and professional but a bit disorganized at times. I think they're trying their best during this time so I can't speak for how they are during normal times. The front desk couldn't keep my surgery times straight and called me early for both surgeries because I was "late" but was then very apologetic when they realized I wasn't. Billing was my biggest pain point but I think that has more to do with the nature of insurance than the Billing department. When I had inquiries, Anna, Heinrick and team patiently walked me through the very confusing billing breakdowns and fixed errors where needed. One piece of advice for Song: please assign a patient care coordinator to patients that sticks with the patient through the entire relationship. I had Jamie and then Maria, and Jamie all of a sudden just disappeared and stopped returning emails. That was not a great experience. I also recommend getting more email addresses than just info@songoralsurgery.com because you never know who will read your email and reply, which might lead to some do the internal disorganization. Reading between the lines, I think the place is not just stressed through Covid but also understaffed, the staff frequently seemed overwhelmed. Overall I recommend this place because of the excellent job Dr. Silva did, and because the rest of the staff tries really hard.

I did my surgery in June. The surgery was just fine, not as good as my last doctor who charged me only $260 for one wisdom teeth and an extra teeth, and I got recovered really well with a short time. Here, they charge me $4015.19 for three wisdom tooth. I mean, okay, the good thing is I have insurance, but I still need to pay $444.8 before the surgery. Then, some wired things stared to happening after that. They make me to pay another $503.2 after 3 months, without any explanation. In the meanwhile, the financial department is really hard to contact. I called them many times, and they called me back like a week later. I paid the additional fee in the end, and I thought that is all. But, It's not. Two days ago, I received an email that is telling me to make a payment of $507.39. I contacted my insurance company this time. They told me that my only out-of-pocket expense for this whole surgery is $727.60. So, what is going on here?

Informative, patient, caring, and with a good sense of humor. Dr. Song and Maggie, the coordinator, embodied this. I know I'm in good hands!

Professional, efficient and caring. Those are the three words that come to mind regarding my wisdom teeth extraction with Dr. Song and his team last week. I was quite nervous about the procedure, but everyone put my nerves to rest and I've bounced back much quicker than expected. Thank you Dr. Song and your great team of employees!

Very efficient, very friendly and 'painless' oral surgery. Of the several practitioners that I've visited over the years for such procedures, Song is clearly the best BY A MILE !

Dr Conolly removed my wisdom tooth swiftly and painlessly! I made an appointment at 3pm and had my consult and tooth out the same day. They do a follow up appointment 1 week later just to check in on healing--it shows that they really do care! I could have gone somewhere cheaper but opted to go here because of anxiety about the procedure. It has been a week now and I am feeling almost back to normal. The Dr was Professional and caring!
