Dr. Lee, an ABO Board Certified Orthodontist, is a native of Massachusetts. He was born and raised in Belmont and received his Bachelors, Doctorate of Dental Medicine and Masters in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Tufts University.
As a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor societies, Dr. Lee has a passion for continued learning, education and research. He has published articles in peer reviewed journals and was the Orthodontic Program Director at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY for over three years.
Jamie has been working in the orthodontic field since 2013 and has a real passion for what she does. She graduated from the dental assistant program at Community College of Rhode Island and studied both general and orthodontic assisting but the orthodontic side stole her heart. Jamie has been a Certified Dental Assistant since August of 2018 and is a Registered Dental Assistant in Massachusetts.
Jamie has lived in Rhode Island her whole life but doesnt mind traveling to Somerville to see the wonderful patients with Dr. Lee. In her free time she loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and her 2 huge Newfoundlands. You will also find her curling with the Ocean State Curling Club to have some fun.

Very happy I chose Dr. Lee as my ortho. He's knowledgeable, caring, and efficient. The staff are friendly and the facility is super clean. Current treatment is going smoothly.

My experience here has been great! The office is so inviting and Dr. Lee has been super helpful and informative. I even had to get a whole new set of invisalign for my teeth and Dr. Lee answered every question I had to ensure all of my concerns were addressed. 100% will continue to recommend treatment here with Dr. Lee

Dr. MoonYoung Lee is super knowledgeable on Braces and Invisalign. I personally chose Invisalign and it was perfect. My teeth shifted to a perfect bite in less than 1.5 years. I shopped other orthodontists and chose doctor Lee as he was the most honest about what was necessary and prices were the most reasonable. Look no more! I was at Harvard and he's just an Uber ride away. Very convenient!

I am very happy with my experience with Dr. Lee at Somerville Orthodontics! Dr. Lee is very knowledgeable, pragmatic, and diligent in his patient care. I am so thrilled with my teeth after my Invisalign treatment. As an adult who did Invisalign, it was also very convenient to my working schedule. I always scored appointments during my lunch hour - which was the best for me.

I have recommended Dr. Lee to several friends and figured why not post a review of my experience?! Dr. Lee did an amazing job explaining the process for my Invisalign treatment and took the time to answer all of my questions. Within 30 minutes, I was able to complete the consultation and decided to move forward with treatment right away without hesitation! Not to mention, with his updated technology, I was able to get my teeth scanned in less than 10 minutes and the aligners came in 2 weeks. Talk about a quick and efficient process! I just finished my treatment after a few months and could not be happier and more confident smiling with these results I highly recommend if you are even remotely thinking about treatment to schedule a complimentary consultation! I had an orthodontic emergency (one of the ceramic hook attachment for rubber bands had broken off). I emailed Dr. Lee and he got back back to me quickly and he squeezed me into his schedule to get the attachment back in place. He personally took the time to carefully work on my teeth. I wanted to pay, but he declined because he doesn't charge for emergencies. I would recommend Dr. Lee based on how he personally looks after my teeth, is careful and takes his time, is kind, and prioritizes patient care over business.
