Growing up I always heard about wisdom teeth surgery hurting bad and taking a while to recover. Finding out I had four compacted wisdom teeth scared me. I would recommend them 10 out of 10 times. They helped me understand why I needed surgery, how it was going to be done, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way... from the consultation to post surgery checkup. They do the surgery extreamly efficient with minimal invasiveness. Love Dr. Alan and his entire staff. Definitely telling all my friends to see him for their wisdom teeth.

The doctor was amazing who performed the surgery on me. It was painless and he was very nice and great at communicating. My one big complaint was the assistant who was with him Rebecca. She called me in and didn't smile at all. She was negative and asked me questions about allergies in such a rude way. She looked like she didn't want to care for me and I was wasting her time by asking questions. Even when she was going through the after instructions, she was impatient with me and it felt like she just wanted me to leave. What a shame because I really liked the doctor.

Dentists did they their job perfectly well. But the billing department was literally begging for money. I've done payments to so many other medical offices and done part-payments(but within 3 months). But this is the only medical office where the billing department asks for a huge bounty ($500+) on an immediate basis. Mind you, this is not co-pay which I'm talking about, but the post billing which I owe, after insurance. I'd recommend this place if you've some good chunk of cash in your wallet, else look elsewhere even if you're referred here by your primary dentist!

This is for the Clinton/Lebanon Office - Oral-Maxillofacial: Dr. Efron Joel DDS Was recommended by my Dentist in Fleminton, NJ whom I trust 100%. I will be honest in saying that I was a bit hesistant after reading the negative reviews on other websites, but really glad I went. I requested general anesthesia because he was removing two middle teeth from the bottom, remnant of a crown and cavity from tooth that popped in four pieces from getting a granola stuck in there. Not an easy situation in my opinion. Dr. Efron's staff was kind, patient and understanding since I was 20 minutes late for surgery. I was even more nervous because of that but the front desk receptionists out front were smiling up until I went in for surgery. My xray was on a large screen and the assistants took my care very seriously. As they were prepping me for surgery, every move made on me was explained beforehand and during procedure. Dr. Efron is serious about his dentistry too and after making sure I was comfortable, he continued in the same manner. Even when the laughing gas was making me sky high, before administering the general, I could see numerous people moving about to support the job that was done in an hour. I woke up slowly by a nice assistant who welcomed me from the beginning and helped escort me to the waiting room where I had to be chauffered home and attended to for 24 hours. They discussed all care and concerns with him (my dad) because I overheard her say, she won't remember and needs rest. I followed all instructions in a booklet that covered any and all concerns and felt only slight discomfort. I had no bleeding at all that evening (surgery was at 12 noon), and the numerous gauze pads they supplied me with are only 1/4 used. This was yesterday, and its 1:26pm the next afternoon and I had broiled flounder (its soft) and soft avocado for lunch about 30 minutes ago. Eating slowly and making sure to not use the areas where the stitches are. What really impressed me was that Dr. Efron called me personally, at 12noon exactly 24 hrs from surgery to see how I was doing. Very cordial and kind of him to take the time since his practice is very busy. He even asked me if I had any questions, which I did, and if I had anymore to call him at any time. No need for stitch removal because they dissolve. Back to my regular dentist for follow up to get a bridge. Think I will have a tapioca pudding for dessert and then rinse with dead sea salt from Israel which is completely pleasant than table salt which makes you gag and leaves a nasty taste. I will go back if I need to in the future. Thank you Dr. Efron and staff, well done!
