I am a proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I continued my dental training at Rutgers University for an additional three years toobtainmy specialty degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, and a Master of Dental Science for my research in the field of orthodontics. Iachieved the highest certification of the orthodontic profession by becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 2014.
I am an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the MiddleAtlantic Association of Orthodontists, and New Jersey Association of Orthodontists. I am proud to offer the most cutting-edge techniques and digital technology in the orthodontic field, including iTero digital scanning, accelerated orthodontics, lingual braces, and Invisalign.
I am a native of Staten Island and currently live in Hillsborough with my wife Natasha. She is a nurse practitioner who specializes in womens health. We met in Philadelphia when we were both studying at the University of Pennsylvania. We enjoy traveling, spending time with family, and playing with our two cats, Eva and Lola. We are thrilled to have welcomed our third child, baby Ryan Peterman, on August 20th, 2020! Robbie and Charlotte are loving being a big brother and sister!

I am responsible for all clinical activities in the office, including making retainers, taking X-rays, keeping track of inventory, and most importantly, making sure our patients are having a great experience. I have a dental radiology license, and continue to learn the most up-to-date advances in dental technology as Dr. Peterman introduces them into our office.

Patients today are now looking for retention options that are invisible and comfortable. The prevention of relapse of crowding, rotations, or spacing in the maxillary and mandibular anterior segments following orthodontic treatment often necessitates long-term retention. The fixed retainers are bonded to the backsides of the upper and lower front teeth. They are a perfect option for all our patients!
