I am so glad that i chose this office. Every staff member was extremely friendly and comforting. Dr. Albin is the man, and did an incredible job from start to finish. Awesome bedside manner and surgical skills. I'm 34 and had all 4 wisdom teeth removed without a hitch. I'm on day 2 and have only taken a few ibuprofen. If you are nervous about getting wisdom teeth removed or anything extracted, come here!

Excellent place! I had 4 wisdom teeth removed, 1 impacted Caine that was in a difficult position and another tooth pulled to make room in my mouth for braces. 6 teeth removed total, Dr Albin was extremely understanding and comforting to my anxiety about the procedure every step of the way. He helped to relax me and assure me. It was over before I knew it. After the procedure at no point did I feel rushed I was monitored and checked on regularly until I was ready to go. Definitely recommend Dr Albin.

I am literally still in the office while leaving this! Best experience ever! Dr Robert was amazing. The staff so friendly. I'm 17 weeks pregnant and needed an extraction ASAP they got me in. The Surgeon ws so mindful of me being pregnant and concerned about me feeling pain. He numbed the area with a local and removed the tooth so fast I didnt realize he was already done! So happy. Definitely recommend the Hillsborough location!!

I went to see Dr. Jacobus to have my wisdom teeth pulled. For a lot of people it could be a very scary surgery, I was even worried myself going into it. HOWEVER all of my worry went away the moment I stepped in the office. From the wonderful ladies at the front desk, to the wonderful nurses and the Dr himself, the process was painless. Everything was explained properly and all of my questions were answered. The operation was quick, thorough, and felt like 5min. The whole staff took great care of me and even followed up to make sure I was feeling okay. If I ever need a procedure for oral surgery in the future I'll be sure to come back. Otherwise, I hope my word puts confidence in your decision to see the good doctor!

I'm not sure what to say except some of the staff could possibly be racist. They were nice enough, but they definitely don't know how to deal with dementia patients who have physical disabilities. My mother who is African American, lives in a nice nursing home due to dementia, but they found this dentist for my mother. We went there with an aid who was South Asian from India and the receptionist came off a little rude to her. We got there 15m early and filled out paperwork that didn't need to be filled out on account the nursing home sent all the info they needed in an envelope that they never opened until after we we're finally in an exam room and the aid and I asked them to open it. So while we were completing these docs, a LatinX patient came in w an appt it appeared. Thereafter a white male came in with no appointment it seemed. They took him over my mother and the LatinX patient. Now maybe he was an emergency, but taking him first, they blamed on me not completely their paperwork on time. I could have finished that in the exam room - better yet , the receptionist should've opened the envelope. This backed up my mother's appt. Once we were finally were called in, they tried to hoist my mother into the dental chair. I have MS and an in a chair myself so I couldn't help. The man handling of her was scaring my mother so I told them to stop. Eventually, they figured out a way to X-ray my mom without her going into the chair. My mother also had a very loose tooth that needed to come out. The doctor, a nice young man, decided to use a topical anesthetic on her, which I agreed to due to the looseness of the tooth. He applied the topical and just 5 secs later pulled the tooth. My mom screamed. Gauze was not applied until after I saw she was spitting out blood on the floor and I still I had to ask them to apply it. They wrote down no instructions for care which I could tell frustrated the charge nurse back at the nursing home. They did tell me what and how she should eat and drink over the next few days which I relayed to the aid and the charge nurse. With what the world is now learning about how doctors have treated African Americans over the decades and how the elderly are often dismissed in America, in my mom's case I question if they have her best interests in mind. I hope I'm wrong to think they may discriminate, but this was my opinion. Also, If you have a parent with less than normal physical and mental abilities, that's not the place for their oral care.

This was my second extraction at Somerset Oral Maxillofacial Surgery group. I had Dr. Jacobus and I was very nervous since my first one did not go very well but he was amazing. Made me feel very comfortable and explained everything he was doing. It was so quick that I didn't even notice when he pulled out the tooth and I didn't feel any pain which was awesome. Thank you so much

My visit went well! I told Dr. Jacobus that I had difficult teeth to remove and that I have a low pain threshold and he listened. He gave me enough novicaine to do the job without having to stop to numb me more. He was a little skeptical about my roots but quickly became a believer. All in all, the tooth came out and all is good so far. Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint, I couldn't get through on the phone before coming into the office.
