If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays (within last 6 months), you can request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, you may also pick them up and bring them with you for your first visit. If it is determined that additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
For your convenience we accept Visa, Mastercard Discover and personal checks. We deliver the finest care at the most reasonable cost to our patients there for payment is due at the time of service is rendered. If you have question regarding your account, please contact us at 732-745-9898. Many times, a simple telephone call will clear any misunderstandings.
We will do everything we can to help you to afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete in office payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card.

Dr.Mita Shah graduated from one of the top Universities in the country, New York University in Newyork and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1983.Prior to attending NYU ,she acquired a BDS degree in India in 1981.She has been resident of nj for over 25 years and now is happy to give back to her community life long Healthy smiles.
Dr.Shah's passion in art & science allowed her to pick the field of Dentistry. She has been practicing for over 25 years and has been in private practice at [Somerset Dental P.C.] since 2000.Prior to that she had a private practice in Brooklyn, NY for 15 years. Dr. Shah practices general dentistry and specializes in cosmetic & orthodontic treatments.Dr. Shah has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes in order to ensure that her patient receives the most comprehensive & advanced dental care . Her state-of-the-art dental office has many amenities to provide patients comfortable and gentle dental care.
Dr. Shah has given back to the community in many ways.Her office participited in Give kids a smile & DDS program.She has also participated in many health camps & many community service projects in temples.
As an active member of the ADA ,NJDA,AGD,IDA, and IOA as well as many study clubs she strongly believe in preventive Dentistry for life Both her enthusiasm about dentistry and her compassion to meet people & help them makes her a great Dentist. I came here with lots of pain on the Thanksgiving weekend. Dr Shah was very accommodating. She immediately took me in and treated my tooth to take away pain. I needed a few root canals and crowns due to missing and decayed teeth. Dr Shah was patient with me this whole time and gave me a beautiful smile for Christmas. I can't thank her enough for the wonderful smile she gave me. Also they have this payment plan which made it very affordable for me to get all the dental work done which I needed from so long!! Thank you Dr Shah.

I came here with a lot of pain, and Dr. Mita Shah was able to fix my bridge, and also did a very good job with the root canal, l highly recommend her, you should visit this place located in , my name is lynnette akinyi and the staff are very helpful.

I am going with dr Mita shah from two years.she is very good and she definitely understood my problem about biting that I had to suffer lot before. The staff members are very polite and accommodate with my timing I definitely recommend this doctor.

Me and my wife recently started seeing Dr. Mita Shah, just two words, kind and professional, unlike most doctors that I've been to who doesn't provide you with appropriate amount of time, Dr. Mita Shah is different and considerate, no matter how many times i go and the questions we ask, she's always been patient enough to give you enough time and the right guidance. In addition to other dental issues I've also started my ortho treatment and it's completely satisfactory. No complaints at all. The staff too is very kind and friendly. The environment that she works in is disciplined and and hygienic. Will recommend Dr. Mita Shah to anyone and everyone to give your dental issues the best service and treatment in town.
