Three out of my seven feelings didn't take, they were so rough it took 3 months before I could chew again. Didn't use enough water and burnt my roots. 3 doctors left the practice and abandoned all there adult patience. They felt like a fly by night hack shop money making racket...

My son with Down Syndrome needed to have oral surgery at a cardiac hospital when the doctor said she could not handle him at the office last fall with 4 special appointments made. He had oral surgery in December 2021 at Penn Stste Hershey. I have had a cleaning on the schedule for tomorrow morning at 8 AM. Antibiotics picked up he needs to take. I just received a call that they need to reschedule. I tried to explain the hardship that causes for my family as I live 40 minutes away and the time they wanted to reschedule is when I had my daughters scheduled for a local dentist in the afternoon. The person's tone was one of indifference. This staff told me that I would have to come on 31 October Or take a 3:20 PM appointment tomorrow. I reluctantly took the afternoon appointment tomorrow now I have to reschedule my two daughters appointments, Make new transportation arrangements for my son, Request to have my time off approval revoked from work tomorrow morning, Email my company's assistant Director as I was using the time that I would use an Johnstown tomorrow morning to assist on my day off on Friday to make up for the time off tomorrow morning and afternoon. Now I will not need that time as I no longer will be driving to Johnstown in the morning. I attempted to call back two times to see if there was any way that my son could be moved to even a later morning appointment. I was forwarded to the Johnstown office and to someone in the main office at the main desk. Very poor customer service. We used to see Dr. Frankel and Somerset and he was wonderful was hoping that this new practice that took over his could be half as good but sadly they are not.

They only extract teeth in adults and don't tell you you have to be under a certain weight to get put to sleep for it. Wasted trip driving an hour bc they claim I weighed 45 lbs more than my scales at home say.

Know what your insurance covers before you have work done here! I had dental work done in February and they gave me white fillings instead of silver fillings. I have been going here for a few years and this is the first time they used white fillings (they never ask what type I want so I assumed they always went with what the insurance covered). I ended up with a giant bill because my insurance only covers silver fillings. I called the billing colleague and it seems this happens frequently so beware.

Terrible practice for children & adults. I had to reschedule my son to have teeth removed more than a handful of times. He ended up with an infection & they told me I had to wait 6 months unless he had the infection. I told them you guys just seen him & he does. They finally scheduled without cancelling. They are continuously cancelling appts. & not rescheduling. My son has autism & I have only ever had one hygienist that was decent with working with them & that happened one time. The rest were rude & mean & should not be working with children period. Do not go here.

Most places call and remind you that you have an appointment but this place does not and will boot you once you miss appointments. Such a joke

I had full extractions for dentures. The secretaries were very nice. The office is so clean and welcoming. I got home from surgery in extreme pain with what he gave me wasn't working. I called the office and i t was closed. I fell asleep and he tried calling me back back 3 times. When I woke in the morning i ended up feeling amazing and didn't give the pain meds a real chance. THE Dr answered my call on a Saturday morning while he was jogging to talk to me. That says alot. I would give 10 stars if I could . I was reccomended to go here from a friend, and I will be reccomending to others too. Thank you somerset dental.

Fantastic, professional, dedicated team! The oral surgeon did a fine job for my husband and we couldn't be more pleased with the care he received. Thank you so very much for a positive experience!

Clean and very nice. However, a really long wait for all appointments. Really need additional employees or less booking clients.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Too many bad experiences with these guys. Trying to fill teeth that don't need to be. Root canal was not done right. Please don't go here!

This place is amazing! The day of my daughters appointment there was a horrid ice storm. Instead of making us reschedule they pushed our appointment time so we could come after the roads were treated. When it was time for my daughter to go back they allowed me and my sister to come with her. My sister had to leave when it was time for my daughter to get her shot. She was having a tooth removed and a spacer placed. The anesthesiologist Dr. Marano was wonderful speaking to me and reassuring me. I had to wait in the waiting room but as soon as she was finished my sister and I were both allowed to go back while my daughter woke up. Again the Dr. Marano sat with us the whole time. (My daughter had to have caps placed a few years ago at a different location and it was a completely different experience. Once my daughter was done they just told me to wake my daughter up and left us. It was a little nerve wracking because she wasn't waking up. Come to find out that that's normal but no one told me that or was there to reassure me that she was fine.) After my daughter woke up they gave us the option to carry her let her walk if she wanted and was able or to use a wheelchair. My daughter wasn't stable on her feet yet so we used the wheelchair. Dr. Marano walked us to our car. On the way home she also texted me to check up on how my daughter was doing. That has NEVER happened. It made me feel good to know she was checking on her. I kept my daughter home the following day and was able to call the office to get an excuse for school no questions asked. Later the next day I received a phone call from the office seeing how she was feeling making sure she wasn't in pain. Final thoughts. This place was absolutely amazing. The staff went above and beyond to help us and make me feel comfortable. A++ work! Thank you so so soooo much! All your kindness made a huge difference! Your all doing wonderful work! Thank you thank you thank you!!

Took my wife here for tooth extraction. First off you don't know what door to go in. They rushed through the surgery and when it came time for recovery 3 different nurses came in to the room none of them had the same story. And couldn't explain how the surgery went. Then for the stitch removal they set up the appointment and gave us a card with the time and date. She went in and they said that she wasn't scheduled for another week. Even though we have there appointment card. Then come to find out no one at any time let us know the surgery was more extensive. We were never told they did bone surgery. Nobody can even look at a simple chart. This place is what dentistry must've been like in Auschwitz. So Called Dr. Speca has bad bed side manners. It shouldn't matter what insurance you have. You get paid to do your job. Do it right. Have some courtesy and respect. I keep this clean and PG because there are children able to read this. But if you have a problem with the review. Let me know where to meet you to discuss it. We'll see how big a man you are when dealing with someone who isn't a patient ! I do not recommend going here for any dental work. I do recommend there dental license be checked thoroughly.

First time ever going here and it was a bad experience all the way around. Some of the assistants are nice but the dentists think they are better than the patients. I recommend going to a witch doctor first. At least there it won't matter what insurance you have. Everyone is treated the same. Speka I will show you the difference between a ledge and a ridge. Learn your role in humanity. Consequences !

I would not recommend this place to anyone, my first experience to get a tooth extraction was ok , the second time I went back for service to look at another tooth I ended up getting it pulled. I heard them talking about insurance. It seems like if you don't have good insurance you don't belong there. Recently I called there about a appointment and they told me it would be months before I could get in they referred me elsewhere. Cleaning appointments have been canceled by them.. never have I been treated so rudely because I don't have the best of the best insurance!

Quite disappointed with the customer service aspect of the front desk. I asked to schedule an appointment for cleanings, and was advised to call Johnstown because there wasn't available until March or April. I told her to schedule an April appt and that I would call Johnstown to see if they could see my older son earlier because he needs oral surgery. The receptionist cut me off mid sentence and transfered me to the Johnstown office. Which of course went to voicemail. So very disgusted with the service of a business I've been a patient of for 9 yrs.

They refused to treat any of my tooth problems and instead tried to pull them. I went to another dentist because I didn't want 6 teeth pulled, only to find out they had ruined one of my teeth beyond repair by not cleaning a cavity before filling it. But, it was the only tooth that ended up getting pullled by the new dentist
