Dr. Dowling completed her undergraduate work at Binghamton University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. Dr. Dowling completed a general practice residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. She then attended Maimonides Medical Center for her pediatric specialty training. While at Maimonides Dr. Dowling acted as chief resident of the dental department.
Dr. Dowling is a member of these professional organizations: the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Academy and the American Academy of Women Dentists. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Moved to Somers in 2013 and have used Dr. Dowling ever since for our two kids, now 8 & 10 years old. No cavities!! ;)

Dr. Dowling and her staff always go out of their way to make her patients and parents feel at ease. My middle child took a nasty fall right on her mouth and Dr. Dowling made time in her schedule to see her right away. She is knowledgeable and compassionate and has a way with children! Her office is warm and inviting and my children always look forward to visiting Somers Pediatric Dentistry!

Amazing dentist and staff ...Dr. Dowling is so patient , knowledgeable and caring. My great niece loves her and always looks forward to see her favorite dentist. I've recommended her to my friends and family and they all love her and her staff.

Every visit to the office is a pleasure. Dr. Dowling and the staff are so friendly and welcoming! My boys enjoy going even if they are getting cavities filled. Amazing people and service, I highly recommend them!

Dr. Dowling and her staff are amazing. We were recently in with our three children and as always we had an excellent experience. The entire staff is friendly and my children love visiting the office. You could not ask for better service and care.

I highly recommend Somers Pediatric Dentistry. They are extremely accommodating, everyone is very friendly, and the office is sparkling clean. This dentist goes above and beyond to make everyone feel safe to visit during COVID.

I can't recommend this practice enough! If I could give Dr. Dowling 10 stars, I would. Dr. Dowling's patience, care and professionalism is unmatched. She made my 4 and 5 year-old boys feel soo comfortable that they actually look forward to their semi-annual visits! Her staff is exceptionally attentive and sweet as well. Beautiful, clean and kid-friendly office.

Loved it! The staff and Dr. Dowling are so friendly My 1-year-old sat on the chair by himself for the first half of the visit that's how comfortable we both felt and it was his first ever dentist visit. He doesn't normally let us look into his mouth without protest and brushing teeth can be challenging at times. I was so surprised at how well he did. The office was modern and very clean!

Took my toddler for the first time today. No wait and the office is super clean and friendly! Definitely a fantastic dentist! Only note if your not familiar with the area the gps is a little bit off with this address...

Was very pleased with the attention to my grandchild and the care that they took. Clearly they have the patience to work with the little ones. We had our first cavity filled at 5 years old and it went better than expected! Great service , great Doctor, great assistant! I highly recommend!

Due to Covid maybe put chairs outside instead of waiting in your car. Otherwise the experience is always great! The doctor and the rest of the staff are great!
