Dr.Rebecca Sonick grew up in Fairfield, CT and graduated magnacum laudefrom ConnecticutCollegein New London. She achieved her D.D.S. from the University of Texas,where shewasawardedfor her work in Periodontics. She completeda General Practice Residency at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT, where she received additionaltraining in dental trauma, oral surgery, periodontics, prosthodontics, dental implants, endodontics, TMJ Dysfunction, and the management of medically complex patients.Dr. Sonick attended the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she focused on TMJ and Smile Design.
Dr. Sonickis a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association,theAmerican Academy of Periodontology,the Fairfield County Dental Club, andisa committee member for the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

I'm terrified of dentists, and Dr.H was so straightforward, confident in his work that I immediately relaxed. He saved my teeth. Absolutely wonderful. His staff is beyond kind, and go out of theor way to make everyone, not just the scariedy cats feels comfortable. Bravo

I had recently moved and had a toothache. Needed a dentist ASAP. I called his office, told my story and they would get back to me. Soon after Dr. Harbottle called me himself. The rest is history. He took great care of me. He is professional, caring and made me feel at home. His work is the best! Certainly made me feel safe. His staff is also caring and efficient. I recently went to Dr. Harbottle's office after not having gone to a dentist since before the pandemic. His calm, friendly demeanor along with his great skill in dentistry put my mind (and teeth) at ease. It will definitely be a lot easier to take care of my dental health now that I'm going to his office. If you're looking for a new dentist, give him a try!

Dr Harbottle is wonderful. He helped repair a tooth I had been having issues with for some time (I previously saw another dentist). He is extremely thorough. He took his time to address all of my concerns, find the root of the issue and is also just a pleasure to be around. Everyone there is super attentive and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr Harbottle and his team at Somers Dental.

Somers dental is amazing. I was having several issues with my old dentist for a great amount of time now. Dr.Harbottle and the hygienist Stephanie spotted a filling in the back of my molar that wasn't filled properly by my old dentist, and had lead to some form of tooth decay on the molar. He immediately fixed the issue and was able to fix the molar without it having to be extracted. Without having Dr.Harbottle as my dentist and his team. I could've had lost my molar if it haven't been addressed sooner.

Somers Dental is the best dental practice I have ever been to. Dr. Harbottle is a wonderful and talented dentist who really cares about his patients and Stephanie, the practice's dental hygienist, is amazing -gentle, but thorough and one of the nicest people I've ever met. I actually don't mind going to get my teeth cleaned!! Over the years they have expertly corrected issues that other dentist had screwed up and kept my teeth healthy. Go to this practice, you will be happy you did.

Dr Harbottle improved my life. Before Dr Harbottle helped me with a plan to improve my appearance I never smiled. I needed extensive work because of lost teeth and gum disease. His plan for me included bridges and crowns and his wish to save as many of my natural teeth as possible. I have a great fear of dental work but Dr Harbottle was very gentle and I no longer fear dental work. I now have a beautiful smile because of his great work.
