For Dr. Kevin Solt and our team, dentistry is more than fixing teeth: we care about you, personally, and want only the best for you: a full, healthy, successful life and with that, a smile that ensures your personality shines!
After your exam and conversation, Dr. Solt will design your unique treatment plan, identifying solutions that meet your clinical and personal needs. We will then walk you through the proposed treatment, explaining why Dr. Solt feels its appropriate, as well as all options, and clearly answering any questions you might have. Then you decide how to proceed.
Dr. Solt and our team are part of this community and appreciate the trust you place in us. We want you to feel you are safe in our hands, to understand that well accommodate your needs to the best of our ability, and for you to feel at home during visits.
From our welcoming reception area and friendly front office staff to the supportive treatment chairs and gentle hands of our clinical team, we strive to keep you smiling. If there is ever anything you need to make a visit or procedure easier, please let us know!

As a dentist, I can give a person the confidence to smile, laugh at a coworkers joke, chew whatever food they want without worrying about their teeth moving or covering their smile when they laugh due to feeling self-conscious about missing teeth. I sincerely want people to be so confident with their teeth that they arent even a thought: to give them a beautiful, self-possessed smile that they love to share!
I get excited when my patient and I collaborate on a treatment plan and work together to see it through. The change in each persons life, whether weve improved their smile or restored function, can be life-changing. I am lucky to be part of that!
On a more personal level, I love dentistry because of the people I get to meet and build connections with. Everyone has stories to share and I like learning who they are, about their passions, families, and experiences. Those conversations make me a better person and a better practitioner, and create a rapport that goes beyond dentist and patient.
I strive to stay current on the latest dental research, methodologies, and technologies, as well as customer service. This ensures I am offering the best diagnostics and treatment, and delivering the best results, while making sure people have pleasant experiences at the office.
I am part of a study group with local dentists, regularly meeting to discuss large, complex cases. We collaboratively treatment plan, allowing us to see the big picture and work to achieve a great final result. I also travel, two weekends a year, to gatherings of dentists from around the US to discuss Pankey and Spear Principles.
Additionally, I complete training in-office and in California with the Pride Institute. Pride helps me manage the business side of being a dentist, developing a practice culture that creates a smooth, stress-free experience for patients.
I grew up in the small town of Hadley, MI, and now livein East Grand Rapids. My wife, Amanda, is a registered nurse who now works out of the home with our two young daughters, Emilia and Anastasia. We also have a dog, Phoebe, who is a Cava-poo-chon (Cavalier King Charles Toy Poodle Bichon Frise).
I also enjoy fixing up and working on our house. I grew up working construction with my dad and like doing renovations. I am active in my church, as well, and enjoy studying about apologetics and the history of the church.
'Our team is close-knit: several of our staff members have been with the practice for 20 years, or more, and all have years of experience. Each is talented, glad to help their teammates, and dedicated to getting to know our patients while delivering personalized care. Our team members go out of their way to help our patient family and maintain a warm, friendly, safe environment for all who visit.'
I started working full time as a dental hygienist back in 2018. I love my Solt Family Dental team and all of our patients. I believe each persons tooth and gum health is very important as it can effect the rest of their body. I value working with patients to maintain, or strive towards, their oral health. I also enjoy keeping peoples pearly whitesbright.
I spend my time performingdental cleanings on people of all ages and oral health classifications. I also take images, educate patients on oral health care, and perform a number of other preventative care measures.
I spend my leisure time backpacking, snowboarding, and designing things out of clay. I also treasure visiting with my family and playing sports and games with my eleven (slightly competitive)siblings.
I have worked in the dental field since 2001, starting my career with this practice. I enjoy helping people feel at home in our office, getting to know them and their families, and making sure they are comfortable during visits.
My family keeps me busy outside the office. I have seven children: I was a foster caregiver for a few years, adopted three of my children, and now have three grandchildren with a fourth on the way. We love time outdoors and being together. Our family just purchased a camper and were planning for a lot of camping in the near future.
I have been in the dental field since 1999 and found my professional home and family here in 2000. I like the time I spend with our patients, learning about their families and interests, and building trust. With trust comes a willingness to listen to my advice so patients are able to keep their smiles healthy.
In addition to regular and periodontal cleanings, I take X-rays, offer preventive treatments, and provide lots of patient education. Each person has their own oral hygiene concerns, so I talk them through what they can do, at home, to improve and maintain their dental health.
I have been in the dental field for over 30years and was pleased to join this office in 2018. I like building trusting, positive relationships with each patient and making sure they feel comfortable and supported during visits.
I started in the dental field in 1976 and found my home with this office in 1977. I enjoy the wonderful people I have become friends with and especially like getting to know so many families. I try to make everyone feel comfortable and at home in the office and to let them know we care.
