Leslie-Anne Fitzpatrick, DMD, MPH, or 'Dr. Fitz' as she is affectionately known to her patients, is passionate about providing exceptional and comprehensive dental care, including preventative, restorative, and implant dentistry for patients of all ages. Dr. Fitz has spent months designing a beautiful, state-of-the-art new dental practice serving the communities of Petworth and the surrounding DC metro area.
Dr. Fitz is an active member of the American Dental Association and the DC Dental Society. Dr. Fitz continually strives for excellence in dentistry, and she is known for her gentle and caring approach to treating her patients.
Dr. Fitz is a graduate of the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine. Prior to dental school, Dr. Fitzpatrick attended Columbia University in New York City, where she completed her undergraduate studies in Environmental Sciences and a minor in French, as well as a Master's degree in Public Health.After graduating from dental school, she completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Howard University Hospital.
Dr. Fitz is originally from Trinidad and Tobago and is happily married to her husband, Cudjoe and they dote on their toddler son. They are proud long-time residents of Petworth and you may see them on the weekend taking a stroll through the community. In her spare time, Dr. Fitz likes to do CrossFit, road cycling and spinning to stay healthy and shares a joint passion with her husband as an avid soccer fan.

This practice is modern and immaculate with a very friendly and efficient staff. I had a recent cleaning by their hygienist Shana, who was wonderful and made you feel at ease during the whole visit.

Great care from our Petworth neighbor, Dr. Fitz. She takes the time to explain things and answer questions. It's been the best dental experience of my life. Also, the music they play here is very nice. It makes the mouth-wide-open time go by quicker.

Great experience for a first time visit to the dentist! I had my 14mo son see Dr. Fitz and the team. The staff was very friendly and professional. The office is clean, welcoming, and you can't beat the location, we are within walking distance and 2hr street parking is also available. The staff were patient with my little one and let him explore his whole way down to his exam room. They had Paw Patrol at the ready on the screen to keep him distracted, my son didn't fuss or get upset, and they had a nice little kid friendly goodie bag at the end. He'll be happy to come back again in 6 months.

The staff is extremely friendly and they make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. Dr. Fitz is approachable, kind and had a good sense of humor. She uses good technology that allows patients to better understand their dental health status. She patiently walks you through her findings. Excellent dental office overall.

Dr. Fitzpatrick is a skilled dentist with a kind and calming presence. (Everyone else who works there is super friendly as well.) I also appreciate that she really listens to her patients. The facility is extremely clean, comfortable, and state-of-the-art. I also love the chapstick/attention to moisturizing :)

I don't usually post reviews unless I am impressed! I had the best dentist experience and I have seen many. They are very professional, warm and caring. Very pleasant atmosphere. They have the best team welcoming and empathy regarding the dental fear and the dentist she is great friendly and highly skilled. They take time with you and explain everything. I had a lot of work to do including root canal/ X-ray/ filling / implants / crown / cleaning / composite ... and each experience went very well and comfortable. I highly recommend this place and I came from far to see them! The place itself it's in an outstanding condition including equipment and technology. The location is great. I have seen Dr. Fitzpatrick twice. I was amazed with all of her state of the art tools. She is very knowledgeable and her calm personality made me feel at ease. I normally do not like going to the dentist. She changed that. She fixed my broken cavity that a prior dentist could not get fixed. I highly recommend her and will be my dentist forever.

A very enjoyable experience with friendly staff and a very clean and well maintained office! I really appreciated that they walked me through all the steps of my cleaning and took the time to evaluate all aspects of my dental health. I will definitely be returning!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Dr. Fitzpatrick and all of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I have never felt more comfortable at the dentist and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

This was the best dental experience I've ever had. Dr. Fitz was great at walking me through everything and made me feel so comfortable. The office staff was so kind as well. They also just have great attention to detail and even kept making sure my lips were moisturized during my X-rays and cleaning. I've never had a dentist and dental office so focused on my comfort. I will definitely be staying with this office as long as I can.

Clean, thorough, and friendly yes, but over two hours in the dentist's chair, even for a first visit, is just too much. I primarily wanted to find out about a new mouth guard and did not get that information. In fact, they seemed vague about what insurance would cover, but did find a way to charge me $30 more for a cleaning which my insurance guarantees two a year.

Literally....best dental visit ever (and I have always loved going to the dentist)! Solstice, Dr. Fitzpatrick and her incredible staff exceeded all of my expectations (and they were admittedly super high after seeing all of the stellar reviews)! The office is beautiful, clean, high tech, and the staff and Dr. Fitzpatrick were welcoming, pleasant and remarkably thorough. Solstice has my highest recommendation!
