Sabrina assumed management of the office in 2020 as we gradually emerged from the COVID shutdown. Having been our hygienist, she brought two of the most important elements to the position: proven dental experience/knowledge, and an existing relationship with our patients and team members. With her bubbly personality, determination and business saavy added to the mix, we have no doubt that our patients will reap the benefit of her management.

Sabrina grew up in Wisconsin. She is quick to point out that she has attended (and enjoyed) a football game in minus 25 degree weather, cheering for her Green Bay Packers. Fortunately for us, Sabrina and her husband settled here a few years ago to raise their son and daughter. With such an active, young family and a love for shopping, concerts, and exploring Texas, were not surprised that Sabrina appreciates (needs?) her daily caffeine to keep her going.

Lauren has always brought energy, initiative and creativity to our team dynamic. Shes capable of quickly stepping in to care for a patient or to help any coworker with chairside assisting, administrative tasks, or lab work. Its this familiarity with all aspects of the business, coupled with her financial acumen, that made her the natural choice to fill our position as Financial Coordinator.

Shes originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but Texas has been her home since age six. She grew up in Huntsville, attended Sam Houston State, and eventually settled in The Woodlands. Lauren and her husband enjoy cooking (he cooks, she bakes), traveling, any outdoor activities, and attending live shows. But family and friends top the list of whats most important to her!

Raquel had worked in the dental field for a number of years before joining our practice in 2017. Patients love her sparkling, cheerful manner. She is the welcoming voice of our office: the first to say 'Hello' and the last to say 'Thanks for coming'. She also adds strength to the team 's ability to serve our Hispanic patients.

Raquel is an avid learner and a self-described 'foodie'. She has an Associate of Science and has been working on her Bachelor degree in math at the University of Houston. Her food passion is eating 'yummy cheesy' dishes. She also loves to bake and to travel - her perfect vacation being a sunny day at the beach.

Nikki has been in dentistry for over 30 years, and the last 13 years as a hygienist at Solomon Dental Group. She is known for her breadth of knowledge, exceptional skills, and the personal touch she brings to every patient relationship. Her list of dedicated patients is very long.

She grew up in Idaho and obtained her hygiene training there and in Arizona. After having had the opportunity to experience several dental settings, Nikki made her way to Tacoma, Washington, where she acquired a number of extended skills, including placement of fillings, Invisalign orthodontic treatment, Myobrace training, and laser therapy; and, she became qualified to administer anesthetic (which unfortunately is not allowed for hygienists in Texas).

Outside the dental office, Nikki is an avid supporter of her two children her son in high school running and competitive fishing, and her daughter who also enjoys running, as well as performance arts and Ariel silks. After many years of running, Nikki herself has now switched to endurance cycling and finds relaxation in yard work. (You can take the girl out of Idaho, but you cant take Idaho out of the girl!)

Tamma has been working in the dental field for 33 years beginning as a Dental Assistant and continuing through her studies at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry until she graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor in Dental Hygiene. Then, in 1996, she graduated again, this time with a dual Masters in Public Health.

She grew up in Oklahoma City and married her high school sweetheart while he was in the Navy. Theyve lived on the East Coast, in Chicago and finally settled in Texas in 2002. They have two daughters in their early 20s. In addition, Tamma has two rescue dogs that demand lots of frisbee, ball and walks. She also loves to read and travel.

Ashley has been working in the dental world for over five years now. She loves getting to create such a fun and comfortable environment for patients! A Katy native, she studied at Houston Dental Assistants School.

She is happily married to her high school sweetheart. They have an amazing son named Eli and two dogs named Nova and Duke. When she isnt busy focused on patient dental care, she spends a lot of free time coaching club volleyball. Shes also been riding dirt bikes since she was four years old and still loves having fun on off road vehicles of pretty much any kind alongside her husband!

After many years as a successful orthodontist in his hometown Tampico, Mexico, Roberto and his family moved here in 2005; and, it was certainly a lucky day for our patients and practice when he agreed to join our team. He performs a wide variety of technical support tasks in our lab and clinical rooms from helping with orthodontic issues, to photography, to sterilization and radiation standards, just to name but a few. Moreover, he always brings a sense of calm dedication to our patients and the team. As he says: Everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission I like being part of something that makes a difference.

Roberto has two sons in college one at the University of Houston, and the other at the University of Oregon. He enjoys golf, fishing, astronomy, and running, and he volunteers at The Woodlands Marathon.

Before joining Solomon Dental Group in 2004, Mark was a Canadian attorney who had moved to The Woodlands to marry his sweetheart. He is now mostly retired but continues to provide business administrative support for the practice, allowing the rest of the team to focus on patient care. His leisure activities include the usual senior sports: walking, reading and TV binge-watching.
