Dr. Smith attended dental school at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Dr. Smith passed his clinical dental exam with 100%, and he received an award of excellence from the Academy of Osseointegration for his work in Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Smith and his family returned to the South Jordan area in 2006, I had the opportunity to have a great education from a great school, but I knew this was home for us. Dr. Smith s wife, Wendy, is also a Utah native. This is a great place to raise a family, and we love the culture and the personality of the people. The look of the South Valley area has changed due to inevitable growth but, this is still home and still has the same small town feel. That is reflected in how Dr. Smith runs his practice. He believes is treating all patients with the same care and consideration he would give members of his family. We pride ourselves on providing individualized care in a comfortable environment.
Dr. Smiths extensive training and knowledge of the latest information and techniques allow him to provide a complete spectrum of dental care. His practice includes family dentistry, veneers, esthetics, implant restoration, endodontics, crowns, full mouth reconstruction and geriatrics.

I've had the best work done here! Rachael is very detailed at cleaning letting me know what areas I need to brush better and all the dentists have been great when working on my teeth.

All our family goes to SoJo Dental. We love the friendly staff. We've been to 2 of the dentists and they did excellent work when we've needed it. Rachael is the best hygienist we've ever had clean our teeth. Very thorough with no pain!

I have called left Voice mails and emailed for an appointment as a New patient have never received a call back or email. This is close to our home and thought they would have better ethics. Big no for us.

I have been a patient for many years. Can't say enough good about Dr. Smith or his staff. Greeted by Parker, (super friendly) and my teeth have cleaned by various hygienists, always professional, polite and efficient. Office very clean, they even have a kid's area. Best dentist around if you ask me - and I'm 68 and have seen many in my time. A+++++.highly recommend!

Impressed with the care provider by Parker at SoJo Dental today. She was friendly and helpful while being efficient as well. Love that feeling after leaving the Dentist knowing everything has been checked and cleaned thoroughly. See you again in 6 months!

Dr. Smith and his hygienists are always amazing and make going to the dentist not so bad. Recently my daughter needed to get in for a deep cleaning, but the schedule was well booked out. But, Parker at the front desk quickly called me as soon as a cancellation came up so we didn't have to wait too long. Parker really went to extra mile to get all our questions answered and ensure all follow up appointments were made. Thanks SoJo!

Completely incompetent. He ruined my teeth with his terrible braces work. He ruined my life. My teeth hurt constantly!

Wouldn't recommend not very profession who doesn't look to rectify someone who paid for braces and didn't finish the job. Passes the buck and then tries to hide behind staff if he does subpar work! Just save the money and go somewhere else.

Love Sojo Dental. I have had to have some major work done due to mistakes from a different dentist. My result from Sojo Dental are so good. Definitely worth the drive for us.

I loved SoJo dental. The hygienists were amazing. The dentist does a great job, and is very friendly. I have never had any problems with my fillings. He is reasonable and not "cavity happy" like some dentists. His office is homey. His front desk staff is so nice and knowledgeable. They unfortunately dropped my insurance or I would have gone to this dentist forever.

Could not be more impressed with Steve and SoJo Dental. My son had a dental emergency, and SoJo was able to squeeze us in and get it taken care of. Steve's kind and friendly personality helped my son feel calm and relaxed as he completed the work quickly. My son was smiling again by the time we left the office. Thanks SoJo!
