Our team consists of dedicated individuals who are kind, friendly, and caring. Our staff is here to ensure a pleasant experience during your visit to our office. At Soistman Family Dentistry, youll meet experienced and energetic people whose goal is to communicate well with our patients and provide the best care possible.
Crystal is our Centreville office manager and Human Resources & Operations manager. She has been with Soistman Family Dentistry since November of 2017. She attended Howard & Anne Arundel Community College and she resides with her husband, 3 children, 2 dogs, 2 birds, lizard, and bunny. She loves being outside, working out, and spending time with family.
Michele is our treatment plan coordinator, She has been with Soistman Family Dentistry since January of 2016. She has completed many dental workshops and computer software training. She currently resides in Church Hill, Maryland with her husband, 3 children, and step son. In the future, she would like to become a mentor for children and travel.
Courtney is our front desk receptionist. She has been with Soistman Family Dentistry since November of 2020. She graduated from Queen Annes High School in 2014. She currently resides in Chestertown, Maryland with her son and boyfriend. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her son and go shopping.
Hannah joined the Soistman family as the Marketing Director in May of 2021. She graduated from Catawba College in 2018, double majoring in Communications and Integrated Marketing. She is currently studying for her Masters in Business Leadership. She resides in Chestertown, MD with her fianc and puppy Harley.
Alyssa is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant who began with Soistman Family Dentistry in June of 2018. Alyssa is a Queen Annes County High School graduate with licensing from Chesapeake College in Dental Radiology and Expanded Functions. She currently resides in Chestertown, Maryland with her two daughters. Alyssa is eager to further her career in dentistry and eventually become a dental hygienist.
Arianna is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She has been with Soistman Family Dentistry since January of 2019. She graduated from Queen Annes High School in 2017. She attended Chesapeake College for Dental Assisting and is certified in Expanded Functions and Radiology. She currently resides in Church Hill, Maryland with her new daughter born this past November. In the future, she plans to return to school to become a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Kelly is a Dental Assistant. She has been with Soistman Family Dentistry since October of 2019. She graduated from Queen Annes County High School and attended a Dental Assistant program in Columbia, Maryland. She is a certified dental radiation technologist and qualified dental assistant. She has two children and a dog. She enjoys spending her free time, swimming, boating, and being at the beach.
April is a Dental Assistant. She has been with Soistman Family Dentistry since December of 2020. She graduated from North Caroline High School in 2017 and Chesapeake College in 2020. She is certified in Radiology and is a Certified Dental Assistant. In the future, she plans to go back to school to get her expanded functions certification. She currently resides in Preston, Maryland with her cat named Stella.
Cathy is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been with Soistman Family Dentistry since 2015. She attended University of Maryland School of Dentistry and graduated with her Bachelors of Science in 1977. She has been a hygienist for 43 years, she is also certified in local anesthesia. She has 2 sons and 5 grandchildren. She loves hiking toward the sound of waterfalls and plans to travel to many National Parks.
Dawn is a Registered Dental Hygienist that has been with Soistman Family Dentistry since August of 2020. She studied dental hygiene at Allegheny Community College and graduated in 1977. She has been a dental hygienist for 43 years and she is also certified in radiology. Dawn resides in Kennedyville, Maryland with her 2 sons and 2 dogs.
Mary Ellen is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been with Soistman Family Dentistry since June of 2020. Shes been working in the dental field for 39 years and has been a hygienist for 29 years. She was also previously a professor at Anne Arundel Community College where she taught students in the Dental Assisting Program. She is a BIG Ravens fan and loves spending her Sundays watching football.
Lilia is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She has been with Soistman Family Dentistry since August of 2020. She graduated from Savannah Technical College with an Associates in Dental Hygiene in May 2020. She plans to get her bachelors, finish her home renovations, and have children. She is originally from Illinois and she just moved here from Savannah GA.
Heather is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has been with Soistman Family Dentistry since 2017. She graduated from the Community College of Baltimore County in 2011, she is also certified in local anesthesia. She has 3 children with the oldest currently about to graduate from Nursing school. She resides in Kent Island and grew up on the Eastern Shore. She loves the time she gets to spend with her patients discussing their dental needs and learning about their lives as well as what impacts them.

I wish I could give no stars. We have gone to this practice since Dr. Downs owned it. For years now, days or even hours before our families appointments they are asking us to move, come sooner, come later and then sometimes moving us back to our first appointment times, or they double book you, so you get a half cleaning. You never see the same hygienist twice, I'm sure they high tale it out if that mess. To top it all off when I called for our records so we could move, they were rude! And after years of never having a bill one for hundreds of dollars shows up after we leave. Interesting. Do not waste your time here.

The entire office staff was very friendly and welcoming! I have terrible anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist but Bre and Dr. Soistman were very gentle, accommodating and sensitive to my concerns. Got me right in and scheduled me for treatment without any delay! Finally found a great dentist office!!!

In the past few weeks I have been to both offices, as the work I was having done was a bit extensive as well as on a short deadline as I'll leaving state this weekend.... In the past few weeks I have encountered the absolute sweetest and most accommodating people!! Dr. Soistman called me to assure me they would do everything in their power to help meet my needs before I leave. Crystal went above and beyond to update me every step along the way and Dr Kahr and her assistant were EXTREMELY gentle and ensured a painless procedure!!! Today they fit me in for a minor adjustment at literally the spur of the moment!! I am forever grateful to team Soistman for making miracles happen!! I'll be proudly smiling my entire vacation!

Twice now they have canceled the appointment the day of. If I had done that I would be charged for a no show. This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. If you need to cancel, you need to let customer know well in advance. 45 minutes notice is no notice. Some people have to move their schedules around just to be seen.

Dr. Soistman took care of 12 cavities for me, 1 root canal, and 1 extraction. Awesome dude, I have a metal jaw and they accommodated me greatly!

My Hygienist, Cathy, was very thorough. She was very experienced and asked many questions and explained everything she was doing in detail. The staff is very polite and efficient.

Had my first dental visit with Heather and Dr. Soistman. What an absolutely pleasant experience! When calling initially to make my appointment the office staff was very nice and got me in quick. When entering the office I was greeted with a smile. Very clean and neat. It really speaks volumes about the overall atmosphere of an establishment when the office staff is singing along to the tunes on the radio. Love it! They showed me around the office. Everyone welcomed me. Dr. Soistman and Heather are down to earth and relatable. Great first impression which is extremely important. Highly recommend this practice.

Cannot rate at this time because billing questions remain . I hope they can be clearly and honestly resolved. 4.13.2022 - I cannot recommend this Organization. Watch your money! Not my kind of Dentist. Florida Dentist (Key Largo) made corrections of work done free of charge. His reasoning:"You already paid more then your share for what you received".

I'm so appreciative of this practice, I've seen both Dr. Soistman and Dr. Kaur and they're both great. Dr. Kaur made sure I was more than comfortable before I left, dental work is a scary thing and she made it very easy and made sure I was okay during the entire procedure even when I was emotional. Thank you guys for always being available!!

I'm happy with their service...one of the best dentist I've been too over my 50yrs...though I'm not at all happy they don't take emergency appointments. I called today after being up all nite with a toothache only to be told oh we can try to work you in tomorrow ugh!!! They need a on call dentist!!!!

This was my first visit at Dr. Soistman's Office and I was very happy with the treatment by Dr. Soistman and Dawn, his hygienist. I will certainly recommend him to my friends.
