Lakshmi Wakade, DDS, is a patient-focused, quality-driven and compassionate dentist. Her educational background includes a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy and a Bachelors in Packaging Engineering from Michigan State University. After a successful seven year career in Engineering at top firms such as Coca-Cola and Unilever, Dr. Wakade chose to dedicate her attention for detail and creativity to individualized care and esthetics in dentistry. Dr. Wakade also pursued additional education in endodontics, pediatrics, and oral surgery after graduation from dental school at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey.
General dentist practicing all aspects of dentistry in order to improve the well being of patients oral health, rehabilitation of function, with a focus on esthetics. Patient education and disease prevention are paramount, along with an overarching goal in reducing dental anxiety. Dr. Wakade is dedicated to providing a positive experience while providing state of the art dental care.

I was referred to Dr. Wakade and I am not disappointed. She got all of my kids in quickly as we just moved here and needed things for school. Her work is fast and she is amazing with kids. My kids are no longer scared of the dentist. Then it was my turn. I'm so used to being scolded by other dentist, not Dr. Wakade she was just so happy I was taking care of me. So great to have someone who cares!

This dentist is pretty stuck up. She has cancelled on me last minute 3 times before, apparently for medical reasons, i have cancelled ONCE due to a medical emergency. They send 3 different messages confirming appointment for today, which im ok with, but after confirming twice for the same appointment i get a text saying that i have 24 hours to text back or appointment would be cancelled, this is overkill. I came in to the appointment today, on time, and when she bought it up, i told her due to work and medical conditions 24 hours isnt reasonable for me, when ive already confirmed twice before for the same appointment. and she said then appointment would be cancelled if not confirmed a 3rd time in 24 hours.... Dont waste your time here. They are not inclusive of low income or disabilities.

Extremely friendly and professional service by Ms.Ola and Dr. Wakade. Sincerely went above and beyond to provide referral for surgery needed. We are new to this office and already scheduled cleaning for my kids. Look forward to working with them.

Me and my kids have been going here for a few years now. The environment is always clean and the staff is great. I will definitely continue going here the doctor is amazing and very kid friendly. Best dentist in the area if anyone needs any recommendations.

I LOVE Soft touch ! Dr. Wakade is awesome and so patient with my fussy little one! He's gotten quite a few cavities and she and her assistant did magnificent with it all! I highly recommend Soft Touch Dental! The name fits them very well!! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!

The most compassionate dentist I have ever been to, and I have been to many dentists over the years. Very caring and understanding to her customers needs. Works with her customers for affordability options and understands their financial situations when "things need to wait". Several years ago I had terrible, terrible tooth pain she was the only dentist who immediately would care for me and help me. I have been seeing her ever since. I highly, highly recommend this dentist.

I'm so happy I found Dr. Wakade and the Soft Touch Dental crew!!! There all so great and professional. They always made sure you came first and were never in any discomfort before beginning with a procedure. If you needed more then one visit to finish something they didn't make you wait a month or two either. You were usually back in pretty quickly. I convinced my mom to go there, and now she's switched to them. The whole experience was great and I would highly recommend you give them a try. They really care about you here and if you need a dentist I promise you won't find one better then Soft Touch Dental.

I've been to many dentists over the years and I have to say Dr Wakade has been the nicest one I have ever seen. My children adore her as do I (it helps that she is the cutest little thing). We have been seeing her roughly 2yrs now and I will never go to a different Dentist. Dr Wakade is my dentist for life! Thank you for being gentle, kind, and great at what you do!

I've been taking my children here for years. The work is top notch, honest, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend. My youngest goes to a pediatric dentist and I can tell it's not as good as the work done here.
