Dr. Alkhandak earned his DDS from Howard University school of dentistry and then earned his GPR (Masters Degree in General Dentistry) from Howard University Hospital. Dr. Alkhandak continues his education to expand his knowledge in different areas of dentistry and stays updated with the ongoing improved technology in the dental field. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and Northern Virginia Dental Society. Dr. Alkhandak's greatest goal is to provide quality and satisfactory dentistry to all of his patients in order to improve their health and self-esteem.

During a year we actually we know this Dental Clinic it has really really better doing services specially has a Knowledge man Doctor so every one who came here and has a good experience. So had such a great experience at this dentist! I was very nervous about getting my teeth done as I hadn't got them done in awhile and had a lot of work that needed to be done. Everyone was so nice to me and made the process much easier. Ashley and Leena were usually the ones who brought me back and really helped me feel more calm before starting. The dentist was always kind and did a great job (quick too!) with all the work I had to get done. Definitely the clinic I will be going to from now on.

Dentist does a very thorough job with the finished product. Cavaties, root canal procedures, and cleanings. Sometimes reception can mess up an appointment but a quick call ahead usually resolves that.

I love it there,it was such a great experience ! I was so nervous because dentists I had went to before was horrible but Sophia Dental restored my faith in dentistry, the dentist was so gentle and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Sophia Dental is my top recommendation to everybody !

I've never had a dental cleaning done in less than 10 minutes. It seemed rushed and not very thorough. My old dental technician took 50 minutes to scale and polish my teeth. While the process was unpleasant, it was a noticeable difference in outcome. The office manager was rude to the employees in front of the patients. Not professional at all. I liked the dentist, I liked the front desk people. They were precise on my billing.

I have been to many different dentist offices and this was by far the most unorganized. I was not greeted upon entering or acknowledged so I had to seat myself. The girls behind the counter seemed to be gossiping which is highly unprofessional. My cleaning was rushed and I was not satisfied. Staff has no bedside manner which is extremely important in the healthcare field.

GET PAID BY INSURANCE FOR DENTURES THAT DONT FIT, YOU GOT PAID FOR BEING A WORTHLESS DENTIST. IM GLAD YALL THINK QUITING DENTURES AND NOT TELLING YOUR PATIENTS IS PROPER.
