Dr. Mandy focuses on excellence and comfort to provide you and your family with the care you deserve. She offers all aspects of general dentistry, from general dental needs to cosmetic restorations and smile whitening. Dr. Mandy welcomes your entire family, from children to the elderly. She is dedicated to treating everyone the way that they want to be treated.
Dr. Mandy received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she received the Compassionate Patient Care award. Dr. Mandy taught as an Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry and Clinical Instructor at Loma Linda University.
Dr. Mandy continues to pursue quality patient by studying advanced dental concepts with some of the most respected dentists in the nation. Dr. Mandy advanced her dental implant knowledge with an Implant Externship Program through theStony Brook School of Dental Medicine in New York.Her extensive dental training and experience allows her to treat and understand each of your specific needs. From preventing and treating dental disease to patient education using modern dental technology and techniques, her goal is to meet and exceed all of your expectations. Dr. Mandy and her staff would like to welcome you to our office in Soddy Daisy.
Dr. Bob Shearer is originally from Southern California. He moved here when he was 14 with his parents and brother. He and Dr. Mandy both attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Southern California. They both chose to move back to Chattanooga due to its small town charm, wonderful schools, scenic beauty, and its close proximity to both of their families!
Dr. Bob is dedicated to keeping his knowledge and skills of advancing dental practices up to date through continued lifelong involvement in clinical and academic dental studies. He completed a mini Dental Implant Residency through the Medical College of Georgia's Maxi Course, and he is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentists. He continues his implant studies as a member of the Advanced Dental Implant Studies group. He has also received additional training in Oral and IV Sedation, which allows a safe way to help with Dental Anxiety.
Olivia and her husband, Jonathan, have a son named Jarret. She is the oldest of five children from South Carolina. Olivia is a Certified Dental Assistant graduating from Chattanooga State Community College. Her assisting background has provided her with a unique ability to help our patients with any questions and concerns.
Mollie is a Dunlap, TN native. She graduated with a Dental Assisting degree from Chattanooga State, but she quickly realized that her passion was helping coordinate patients treatments and insurance plans. She loves spending time with her family and dog Ammo. In her spare time, you can find her on an ATV, listening to music or binge watching some of her favorite shows like Pretty Little Liars.
Haley is a Dunlap, TN native. She graduated from Chattanooga State Community College. Her and her husband have a little girl named Kooper. She loves spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include four-wheeling and camping.
Sharon and her husband, Stevie, have 3 children: Seth, Silas and Sophia. They also have two dogs named Chewbacca and Cookie. Sharon was a dental assistant before graduating Dental Hygiene from Chattanooga State Community College. Sharon loves spending time with her family, racquetball and dancing.
Leslie is originally from Franklin, TN and has an identical twin sister. She studied Dental Hygiene at Chattanooga State Community College. She loves concerts and outdoor activities like caving and hiking and spending time with her husband.
Kayla is a graduate of Chattanooga State, and an interesting fact is that Kayla and our Hygienist Leslie were in the same Dental Hygiene class. When Kayla is not at the office, she can often be found teaching a spin class or two. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Cody and her family.
Marie graduated Chattanooga State with her degree in Dental Assisting. She loves spending time with her husband, Victor and her son, Isaiah. They enjoy board games, hiking, biking and anything that let's them spend time outdoors.

Soddy Daisy Smiles is a wonderful place for you and your kids to get most of your Dental work completed. About the only thing they don't do is braces, which is fine because it gives them the ability to be the best at other things. My wife, our kids and I, all come here and we love it. The staff is so friendly, helpful, and they really know their profession. I Highly recommend them for all your family dentistry needs.

I am an admitted extreme dental coward; however, having a female dentist for the first time really made a difference. Hearing Dr. Mandy and Sara do "girl speak" during the procedure really helped my anxiety. I can't say that I "look forward" to my next visit but I think I won't dread it quite so much. Thanks so much for your compassion and patience!

This office is awesome! I'm 27, and had only been to the dentist once before, and that was when I was about ten years old. I went in for the assessment a few weeks ago, and just today went in for a deep cleaning and for 1 filling. I was blown away by how easy the whole experience was. I was very comfortable, and I hardly felt a thing. Even the anesthetic shots were virtually painless. After avoiding the dentist for most of my life, they made me really wonder why I ever had! Everyone here was extremely nice, friendly, and professional. Thank you guys so, so much!

Wonderful. My daughter was very nervous, and they did a great job of calming her and including her. After her second visit, she left saying she wanted to be a dentist.

First let me say, I HATE going to the dentist. I've even gone elsewhere thinking it would be great, but it was a let down. Then I went to Soddy-Daisy Smiles and it is immensely better. I had to have two small fillings and it went SO well. They took the time my mouth needed to numb properly without having to add more. (The last place I went did two injections because of time and it messed me up completely. More pain recovering too) At this dentist appointment, I walked out feeling great! It was such a vast difference. In a nut shell, Soddy Daisy Smiles is SUPER clean, quick (never waited more than a couple of minutes), kind, gentle, and all around excellent care. I would give more stars if I could!!

The staff and dentists are super friendly! I started seeing them when I lived in town. I live about 30 minutes away now and still make the drive to see them. I was having an issue with my crown that I had complained about to one of my previous dentists who placed it for years. Dr. Mandy took a look at it, and we found out I had a nickel allergy. She redid it, and I haven't had any problems out of it since. They are quick to get you in for an appointment if you have an issue. Their massage chairs are a great added touch too! I also found out at my last appointment that they have a club card (kind of like Sam's Club) that you can join if you don't have dental insurance (we recently lost ours), which is way more cost effective rather than paying out of pocket. I wouldn't trade them for any other office ever :)

Had two crowns put on. Love that they can make them in-house! I chipped one as they were trying to get it fitted. She never batted an eye. Just made another one out of a stronger material. Even w the remake, was out in plenty of time to get to work. Thanks again, Dr. Mandyd

Was there for the 1st time today to get my teeth cleaned. Staff friendly, everything was explained to me as they went along or I asked a question, and I felt very comfortable there. Recommend Soddy Daisy Smiles to anyone that needs any dental work. Was there today for my first crown. Same as last time...everyone friendly, work done amazingly well, and was very satisfied.
