Dr. Boss played first base for Weber State Universitys baseball team while studying Chemistry, Zoology and Spanish, earning him a Bachelor of integrated studies. He graduated magna cum laude from Creighton Dental School and was immediately accepted into Lutheran Medical Centers endodontic residency program where he received his post-doctoral endodontic specialty certificate. He has successfully completed the rigorous board certification process becoming board certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Boss believes in minimally invasive endodontics and dentistry and that this philosophy not only applies to removing minimal amounts of tooth structure when treatment is indicated, but also applies to what kind of treatment recommendations we make. or dont make. He believes that a thorough evaluation and accurate diagnosis is integral for conservative treatment recommendations and this is one of the most important aspects of his profession. He is passionate about life, religion, his family and friends, his country and his profession. He finds reward and satisfaction in ample amounts of high quality continuing education, personalized compassionate care for his patients, a welcoming and peaceful work environment, fatherhood and time with his family and friends. He served a two year proselyting mission in Argentina for the LDS church. He is very fluent in Spanish having lived abroad over 4 years. In his younger years he worked as a ski instructor. He loves fly fishing (especially salt water fly fishing) and everything outdoors. He is always in the mood for a good practical joke. Some of his favorite movies are Rudy, Remember the Titans, The Man from Snowy River and 8 Seconds and he is ashamed to admit that he watches The Bachelor/Bachelorette with his wife. He asserts that there has never been a better comical satire than the show Seinfeld and can quote almost every episode.
Dr. Gregory Nielsen is a Colorado native. He was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. Dr. Nielsen earned his Bachelors degree in zoology from Brigham Young University, and then attended the University of Colorado School of Dentistry, graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004. Following graduation, Dr. Nielsen practiced general dentistry for 10 years in Las Vegas, Nevada. Not long after opening his own practice, he discovered his love for endodontics and decided to go back to school to specialize. In 2014, Dr. Nielsen was accepted into the University of Nebraska Lincolns endodontic residency program where he received his post-doctoral endodontic specialty certificate. His love for Colorado and the mountains brought him back in 2017 and he was finally home.
Kaleigh has been with us since a few months after opening our doors.She's a Colorado native and doesn't plan on leaving!During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Kaleigh has a huge heart and truly cares about the experience that anyone may have from the first phone call to the last impression after leaving our office.
Catie graduated and obtained her certification from PIMA medical institute in Colorado Springs where she was truly able to fall in love with the dental field. Being in the professional customer service field most of her adult life is what makes her so adaptable to patients, but her kind spirit is what keeps them comfortable and well cared for during their visits. Caring for a patient brings her joy, and as necessary in any healthcare field, is first and foremost. Her current career goals are to continue becoming more knowledgable within the dental field and obtain her EDDA certification. Catie enjoys spending time with her family.Hiking, swimming, shopping, and cooking new foods are among her favorite hobbies.
Emma has spent most of her life in Colorado. Before joining our team as Front Office, Emma worked several years in customer service and with kids. In her free time, Emma prefers to be outdoors, hiking, hammocking or UTVing. Emma's passion to provide quality care and make everyone feel welcome are a few of the reasons she joined our team here at SoCo Endo.
Kat grew up in a military family and moved here from Germany. One of Kat's top priorities is making sure everyone feels welcome and comfortable in our office. Kat's hobbies include reading, games (such as D&D), singing and spending time with her husband and kids. While Kat likes hiking and the outdoors, she'd much rather spend her time indoors with a hot beverage and a book.

As a local dentist, I always recommend SoCo Endo to my patients that need root canals. Today was my turn to be the patient again and just like last time it was great experience, painless and super fast root canal. Definitely the best in Colorado Springs!!

Dr Nielson and Denis were so focused during my procedure. I felt very safe and comfortable with their Endo skills. Follow up next day from the front desk after procedures was very nice. Would highly recommend getting your Endo needs met here!

Absolutely the best experience in a dental office. Caitin, Emma and Kat were all extremely friendly and professional. Dr Boss was the best dentist I have ever gone to. He explained everything thoroughly and patiently answered all our questions. DO NOT HESITATE GOING TO THIS DENTIST. HE IS WONDERFUL AND TOTALLY THE BEST OF HIS PROFESSION.

Dr. Boss and his staff deserve 5+ stars. They performed an emergency root canal Friday afternoon with efficiency and compassion. I felt I was in expert hands. The procedure was painless with immediate recovery. I'd recommend SOCO ENDO to all of my friends.

Following a procedure I had with my general dentist, I experienced intermitant pain that at first was attributed to a bite issue. After 2.5 months of repeated follow ups and bite corrections, they began to suspect a different underlying issue. I was referred out to SoCo Endo. I was quickly able to set up a consult with Dr. Boss and it was such a relief to hear "I know exactly what the issue is" after his brief exam. One week later, I experienced the best dental procedure I've ever had. No pain! I feel pain with simple cleanings and to feel nothing for a root canal blew my mind. On top of that, I was so grateful that it was all taken care of in one sitting with a permanent filling. Knowledgable, experienced, approachable, professional, top notch equipment, efficient, excellent communication, super comfortable...100% recommend. Plus, they have a really cool zen sand table in their waiting room :)

Dr. Boss and his staff were amazing. I was in horrible pain over the weekend and the office was quick to get me in to help. The girls up front were welcoming as well as the assistants in back. I would highly recommend this office to anyone needing endo!

There are dentists and then there are dental specialists, and Dr. Boss, my amazing dental specialist, and his staff, get five thumbs up from me for the work and procedure he recently completed helping me save a valuable molar. Dr. Boss confirmed what my regular dentist suspected and explained that a root canal was needed. He was ready to administer the treatment promptly that same day. I had discomfort for only a couple hours after the procedure and then had a great outcome and total resolution of my symptoms. The numbness also wore off after only a couple of hours as well which was awesome. Thank you for the skilled care.

First off I have major fear of dentist!!! I can go through any procedure in the world but you put me in anything that has to do with teeth I don't handle it well!! I can say that I am blown out of the water by how well this office works! If you are in doubt please listen to me. I have been dealing with extreme dental pain form my workman's comp! this was the only place they could find to help treat me, and I am in severe pain Not only were they carrying and kind and made sure everything was met but they are doing everything in their power to work with workman's comp. This is the only endodontist that I could find that would work with workman's comp that says a lot. Not only that but how they handle things was above par god bless you guys keep doing what you're doing because you're changing lives.
