Dr. Sohyoun Jun received her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2010 and completed her residency program with the VA New Jersey healthcare system shortly afterwards. As a deans list student and member of the Prosthodontic Honor Society, Dr. Jun excelled in her studies and was eager to begin work in the dental field after graduating. On her quest to consistently update her dental education, Dr. Jun has received additional training in management, restorative planning, laser dentistry, CEREC and BOTOX. She is also a member of the Hiossen Implant Study Club.
As an enthusiastic dental professional with deep regard for her community, Dr. Jun is often found volunteering at dental events, such as Give Kids A Smile and the Oral Cancer Walk, as well as with local charity organizations, such as Mission of Mercy. She is known for her skills in diagnosing and developing treatment plans, as well as her excellent chairside manner. She is ready to provide excellent dental care in both English and Korean.

My experience with Dr Jun and her team have been welcoming and pleasant. My appointments have been timely. I am greeted and then seated into the dental chair at my appointment set time. The office and rooms are well kept and clean. Dr. Jun and her staff take the time to reduce my anxiety answering my questions and walking me step by step. Cleaning was thorough and painless and other dental procedures have also been painless too. Overall, my experience here exceeded my expectations with time, cleanliness, service and professionalism.

I have had very positive experiences at So Good Dental for a filling on a chipped tooth as well as a checkup + cleaning. Dr. Jun is very thorough and attentive. She addressed all of my concerns and I am very pleased with the results every time. The staff is kind and very meticulous and expedient with scheduling appointments and sending reminders via text so there is hardly ever any waiting time. The office is very relaxing and comfortable and there is also plenty of parking in the back. I feel like I am in very good hands here!

I'm not sure I know an adult more terrified of the dentist than myself. A sports injury to my front teeth as a child led to a string of dental issues into my adult life, sprinkled with horrific experiences along the way. I was super hesitant in trying a new dentist but heard some great things about Dr. Jun and went for it. I was a wreck leading up to the visit - almost walked out after checking in, but I powered thru like a big girl :) Much to my surprise I was super calm slipping into the chair even though I wanted to run for the hills. The office has good vibes (also very clean and modern), the staff felt "familiar" and Dr. Jun was terrific. She has a calming manner, super thorough yet gentle cleaning and talked me through my visit. I feel relieved to have found a good fit for this scaredy cat!!

Dr. Jun and her team have been very professional and caring through my implant procedure. It's a long process, but their expertise in the field and communication skill definitely contributed to my overall positive experience with the surgery at this dental office. Definitely recommend this place, especially if you hate pain!

My first experience at Dr. Jun's office was amazing. Her team is professional, really nice and welcoming. Dr. Jun and her team made me feel comfortable, important, and valuable. Dr. Jun also explains things to you very well and will go over anything with you, like recommendations, problems or concerns that you may have. She is really gifted at her job, the way she cleans teeth and her techniques are amazing. After I left getting my teeth cleaned, my teeth felt really good and clean. I've been to many different dentists and no one cleans teeth better than her. Also, I've always been anxious whenever I needed to go to the dentist and ever since coming here it goes away. 10/10 I would recommend her to anyone.

I normally don't write reviews but I couldn't help but share how wonderful So Good Dental is. I have had dental work all throughout life but Dr Jun is the best dentist I have ever had. She is very thorough and makes you feel very comfortable while not being pushy at all. I am especially happy with the results from the whitening she had done for me recently. I highly recommend this office!
