An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

This had been my second time coming here and the service has been more than enjoyable. I enjoy having options when there are available and their assistance with payment plans and willingness to help me with getting dentures is a major plus in my book.

I am usually terrified at the dentist, but Dr Prem and Jackie made my experience 100% not scary. Dr Prem also explained everything and answered every one of my questions clearly and didn't treat me like I wouldn't know what she was saying. I love when my medical care team treats me like I know my own body. Very few do, and those are the ones I stick with. If you need dental care, come to Snohomish Modern Dentistry

Update 7/18: I was able to receive a root canal re-treat and during the treatment my crown popped off. I contacted SMD and they scheduled me in the very next day. I came in and they made me a whole new crown free of charge AND they informed me the endodontist that had cancelled my treatment prior, was fired from their organization. I felt like they actually cared and I was happy to hear of the response they took following my bad experience. I am changing my review to reflect my current standing and I will be continuing treatment with SMD in the future. Horrible experience with this provider. After being seen for an initial exam, I was told I had to wait over a month to be seen by an endo specialist. After paying 150$ (w/ insurance) for a CBCT and waiting another couple weeks to be seen for an endo consult, I was told they would need to re-treat a root canal I had done by another provider. They scheduled this re-treat while I was in the office looking at my scans/x-rays WITH THE ENDODONTIST. now, today, on the DAY OF MY TREATMENT, they call me two hours before the appointment to tell me the doctor now thinks she is incapable of doing the treatment, and have now told me to go seek care elsewhere. This is absolutely horrendous treatment of a patient. My tooth is on the brink of falling out, and the infection in my jawbone causes me agony 24/7, but now I have to go re-start the entire process at another provider because of all of this wasted time. Now, likely, my tooth will be un-treatable. If you care about your medical health at all, do NOT seek service at this provider.

I rarely post reviews but this practice deserves recognition. Dr. Bolak was friendly, informative, candid. No one tried to 'sell' me anything. All support staff were professional, attentive to my comfort and skilled. In particular, the hygienist who cleaned my teeth was awesome. Anna was knowledgeable, skilled, friendly and gentle, while pursuing an excellent outcome. All proposed charges were clearly reviewed with me. Technology and equipment were impressive. The practice is clearly community minded as they offer a substantial credit against your invoice if you bring in school supplies. I appreciate having a pleasant dental visit!

They lost my sons chart? I really loved the front desk staff, the dentist was incredible and very breastfeeding friendly. I really was hoping for my son to got here again. The staff couldn't find his chart, we paid almost $400 during his last appointment. I'm pretty upset and feel very uncared for. My son had a treatment plan in place and the fact that they couldn't locate his chart is just really concerning. We are positive we have the right dentist as we have the bill from last time. Really disappointed. I won't be brining my kiddo back.

I went in to have a crown put back on it was my front tooth to be cemented back on, the sign in front said we take walkin and emergency visit but they could not get me in unless i wanted to come in three days later

Do not go here. What started off as 2 crowns turned into 2 root canals. On the second crown, the dentist installed it BACKWARDS. She started grinding away until finally saying "sigh, this isn't right, you'll have to come back in". 3 years later, the same tooth is infected at the root with bone loss. A different endontist re-did the root canal and found an additional path which hadn't been sufficiently rooted out, as well as two plugs of infected material at the roots. The crown also had gaping voids in the bond line. It'll need to be re-done as well. Worst. Experience. Ever.

Went in to get a crown, 2 1/2 weeks later I had to call to see if it was back yet. The temporary crown fell out multiple times and I wasn't even able to have mothers day dinner due to the sensitivity and not being able to chew. They also sold me THE most expensive crown not explaining that it costs a lot more and not covered by insurance. Disappointed, once I get this crown in i won't be going back.
