This used to be a great dental office, but has gone downhill since 2020. They now add bogus PPE charges that customers have to pay even though we have insurance that should pay 100% for cleanings. I used this office for years for my family but we are now looking elsewhere.

Would never go here. Was told by Dr. Eaton's staff my 6 year old needed a root canal and referred out to a pediatric dentist. I called to make the appointment with the pediatric dentist and explained my son needed a lot of work done including a root canal. The office informed me that they do not perform root canals on pediatric patients. I called around and made another appointment with another dentist because my son did not get the treatment he needed in a timely manner, and had an developed an abcess while waiting for the appointment. I continued to call local pediatric dentists in my area with no answer or call back. I called Snellville Family Dentistry back because their referral said they couldn't do the work they referred me out for. I went today with my son to have the entire tooth pulled at this office, only to be told they couldn't do it and that he needed to have the tooth pulled by a pediatric dentist. While speaking with the other dentist here, I was informed they don't do root canals on pediatric patients at all. They just pull it. So due to the lack of communication from the Dr. Eaton, I wasn't able to make an appointment for my son to get the urgent dental care he needed anywhere because I was calling around asking for a procedure they don't do on pediatric patients anywhere. Now my son has to suffer all weekend with an abcessed tooth and after missing idk how many days of school, for the appt at the pediatric densit Monday. On top of the lack of communication, the other dentist I saw today was extremely rude and condescending and told me that I could have called the number on the back of my insurance card to find a pediatric dentist, which I would have never found because nobody does root canals on kids like I was told he needed by Dr. Eaton. Very unprofessional and I would never recommend this office to anyone. It blows my mind people go to medical school, yet cant even communicate properly to their patients or even apologize for their mistake.

My first visit to dentist since COVID and I was pleasantly surprised to meet my old hygienist Kay from previous dentist! She was the only reason I stayed at that dentist for so long - she has great customer service and always did a good job. She also remembers all her patients. Dr. Miller was nice, knowledgeable and explained my treatment thoroughly. Also Laythan, the hygienist assistant was personable and we shared stories about our kids and preganancy. So far, I am so happy I switched dentists.

This is the absolute worse dentist I've ever been to in my life. I originally visited the office in 2021and my dental hygienist was extremely rude and had the worst attitude. I received a "deep cleaning" but still had stains. Then I needed a tooth removed and the dentist(a man) was extremely sketchy. He gave me antibiotics for the tooth. Went back after having to have cavities filled and there was a completely different dentist filling my cavities and it was obvious she was "practicing". Also I got lightheaded from her giving me too much numbing because I was in pain. Went back 4 months later complaining of pain and the female dentist was gone and the current dentist said it's just "sensitive" and took more X-rays and charged me because they had already filed too many with my insurance company. Then they scheduled my routine cleaning outside of 6 month insurance time and threatened to charge me a fee. Mind you, they made the appointment not me! DO NOT GO THE DENTIST. EVERYTHING ABOUT THE OFFICE IS SHADY!

I just wanted to share an incredible experience that has led me to think of Snellville Dental as family. I have been going to a dentist every 4-6 months for the last 28yrs and all of my experiences have been hit or miss good and horrible but I kept going because I am a stickler on maintaining my oral hygiene. So it all started when I was out of town in Denver and broke my rear crown that was installed by my old dentist a couple years prior. I called my old dentist that night to try and schedule an emergency appointment as soon as I returned home and their answering service said they would call me back but never did even after I tried reaching them on 3 other occasions, so I began to look for another dentist. I found Snellville Dental that was close to my house and I like the services advertised on their site. I expected another average non-customer focused practice that would not meet my expectations especially at the height of Covid. Boy was I surprised, after scheduling an appt they called and emailed/text me several times to confirm my appointment and requirements prior to arriving. Once I arrived, I was pleasantly greeted by the front office staff who had my paperwork and estimate already printed. I was taken back and shortly met by Dr. Miller, who is phenomenal, she quickly made short work of assessing my replacement crown needs along with making more space for the correct fit which was the cause of the previous crown breaking. She fitted me with a temp crown until I returned in 2-3 weeks for the permanent one. It fit like a glove and she trimmed and finalized the fit to my liking. I was so impressed I scheduled my next cleaning which was super pleasant. The hygienist alerted me of some key things to consider for maintaining a problem free oral hygiene. She was very friendly, and we laughed and discussed family and kids and just overall positive outlook on life. I discovered a few months later that I had one tooth that was becoming sensitive as a result of the ill fitted crown that had been installed prior to Snellville Dental. I stopped in the office to schedule an appointment to have it looked at and to my surprise the front office talked to Dr. Miller and she was able to see me on the spot. They took me back and she assessed the situation and applied some super desensitizer that she said would do the job. Once done, they told me there was no charge and confirmed my next cleaning appointment. They all know me now when I come in and I can truly say this is the BEST Dentistry ever. I truly look forward to my visits to just chat with the team and have a few good laughs. I have never had such a great time or experience at a Dental Office until I came to Snellville Dental. I trust my mouth to no one else.
