Dr. Sara Twardy was born and raised in Selma, Alabama. She attended college at Auburn University, where she majored in Biochemistry. Dr. Sara decided to pursue her dream if becoming a pediatric dentist, so she enrolled in the University of Alabama Birmingham School of Dentistry.
Dr. Sara lives in the midtown area of Atlanta. In her spare time she enjoys playing tennis, cooking, traveling and exploring. She is active volunteer at the Junior League of Atlanta and her local church.

Love this dentistry! I've been taking my twin boys to Dr Sara since they were around 1.5/2years old. They're now 5. She does really well with both, including my son with cerebral palsy whose in a wheelchair. She's always done whatever she can to accommodate his appointment as needed based on what he will tolerate. The facility is always clean and love the toys they have for the kids to pick from.

We went to our 1st appt. on 03 November 2022 and all was well. We received a treatment plan & made an appt. for today, 09 November 2022, to complete the work on the treatment plan. Unfortunately, when we arrived no one had a copy of the treatment plan from 03 Nov 2022 & they tried to DOUBLE the out of pocket expenses by creating a new treatment plan. This is FRAUD. Even after I provided a copy of the original treatment plan they were adamant they would not use it and the only way to get service was to PAY more than what was originally quoted. I will be escalating this to my insurance company as FRAUD & reporting to the BBB. DO NOT USE SMYRNA PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY.

Dr. Twardy and her staff was exceptional. I was late for my appt but they still accomodated me. They answered all my questions regarding my lil one first dentist appt. Smyrna Pediatric Dentistry is the best. My kids have been going to Dr. Sara for 4 years and I've never had a complaint. The appointments always start on time, the office is always clean and there's always a smile on everyone's face. The customer service is TOP TIER!!!

My four year old received 2 crowns as well as fillings on yesterday. Excellent bed side manners, per usual. Very good overall experience. I highly recommend this doctor's office.

I haven't had problems in the past but now trying to understand that they do not care if your a working parent busting hump to get your child to his appointment. My sister who is passed away had Medicare for her son that I now raise. That was how his bill was paid, so when I asked to have his records after being told that being less than 10min late for his appointment is cancelled and no offer to reschedule, shows how much they think of people as a whole. Well, he is switched to my actual insurance and yes I'm better taking him to a Dentistry facility that will also place the value of their customers above mediocrity!

Very clean office, professional and caring staff. My daughter has a hard time with doctors but the staff here is understanding and have made her feel comfortable enough to let them check her mouth and clean it without a tantrum. Really appreciate Dr. Sara and her staff!
