Dr. Mactier is excited to meet you! He is a native to the Houston area and attended the University of Texas. After graduating college, Dr. Mactier married his best friend since 5th grade and high school sweetheart, Dallas. They live in the Heights and love walking the trails and exploring all the new restaurants and shops that open up. The Mactiers love being a part of the Heights community.
Dr. Mactier attended The University of Texas Dental School at Houston. Dr. Mactier graduated at the top of his dental class and also served as the President of his class. He received The American College of Dentists Outstanding Student Leader Award for scholastic performance and potential to impact the profession along with many other distinguished awards. Since graduation, Dr. Mactier has taken extensive continuing education in smile design, veneers, and implant dentistry to be able to provide the highest quality care possible to his patients.
For Dr. Mactier, quality dentistry is personal. Dr. Mactier had a very bad accident in high school and spent countless hours in the dental chair having many different procedures done on him, ranging from braces to implants to veneers. He has had his life changed through dentistry and has seen what a personal impact dentistry can have on ones life. He seeks to provide dental care that is of the highest standard to all of his patients.
Her greatest joy in dentistry is being able to see lives changes through transforming smiles. Nathalie started out as Dr. Mactiers dental assistant for 3 years and has blossomed into her role as SMYLs office manager.
Her passion for dentistry led her to start the journey of becoming a Dental Hygienist and specialize is treating kids. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping & spending time with her loved ones.
Everyone needs a little happiness! Meet our Chief Happiness Officer, Donut. She is a 3 year old golden retriever who lives for belly rubs and making people happy. Donut is excited to join the SMYL team and help spread happiness all around. Although Donut wont actually be at the office (unless requested), she will be out and about on the Heights hike and bike trails living her best life.
