I have severe dental anxiety and can't recommend this office enough. Calling to schedule an appt was easy and the endodontist that helped me was so calm and thorough. She made sure I couldn't feel any pain. She warned me of any potential discomfort throughout the procedure. If it was socially acceptable I would've given her a hug after for how smooth it went. Even afterwards, when numbing wore off it was just a general discomfort. 10/10 would do again here if I had to

I went for a root canal a couple of weeks ago. At first I did not know what to expect. Well let me just say, the procedure was not bad at all! I experienced NO pain after the numbness wore off and did not even have any soreness! Dr. B was great and I wouod recommend him if you need a root canal!

I was in a lot of pain after my general dentist put a crown on a tooth that had not been treated for a root canal. They mentioned it may need a root canal at some point but I realized that would be a lot sooner than I thought. I was also in a rush since I was going on vacation the following week and wanted to get the procedure done so I didn't have to deal with the pain while away. Dr. Doreen Toskos got me in right away for a consultation and determined the tooth definitely needed a root canal. She made me feel comfortable about proceeding. She made me an appointment for a few days after and said if the pain gets too bad to call the office and she can get me in for an emergency root canal the next day. The appointment date arrived and she completed the root canal within an hour with no pain at all. Have not had any problems with the tooth ever since. Great work and would highly recommend!

If you need a root canal, please go ONLY to Dr. DOREEN TOSKOS! She is an amazing Doctor, and, did a complicated calcified root canal after other endodontist was not able too. I Thank HER Very Much for taking me as an emergency patient, and, not giving up on me. She is a Beautiful Person and a Very Skillful Endodontist.

I just left here and had to leave a review...after going to other dentists that were traumatizing, I have severe anxiety and panic when I go to the dentist. I had to have a procedure done that was lengthy and not ideal but Dr Ramsey made it completely painless. Not only that but he was SO understanding of my anxiety and pleasant to talk to as well as informative. The woman at the front desk was sooo nice as well. I have to go back in a week to finish the procedure and I honestly don't mind due to the kindness I received today.

When going to any establishment, the first person to greet you sets the tone for the entire company. Once entering Smithtown Endodontics . I knew I was in good hands. The receptionist was courteous and extremely professional. Of course going to the dentist is no walk in the park, however, after meeting Dr. Toskos, I felt very much at ease. Dr. Toskos explained in detail what she was going to do and made me aware of exactly what to expect afterwards. She proceeded to 'do her thing" and I must say it was the best dental experience I have ever had. I highly recommend her and the entire practice. I felt so much better after the procedure. I also called the office later that evening, and Dr. DiBernardo called me back and answered my questions promptly. The office is immaculate and has all the latest equipment to diagnose the issue. I typically do note write reviews,, but this experience had to be said. Thank you to all at the office and I wouldn"t go anywhere else for endodontal work.

I just had a root canal. Dr Doreen Toskos did it. She was GREAT!!! Didn't feel a thing! She's very sweet and listens and explains things. I highly recommend her.

Staff is polite, friendly and efficient. I was comfortable with Dr. Toskos's skill set and his "bedside manner" was top notch. Most importantly, my tooth no longer hurts!

Dr. Toskos is an excellent dentist. She is very caring and does excellent work. My negative review is in regard to the billing aspect of things. I paid $1,200.00 in full for my root canal. I then sent the dental receipt to my dental insurance companies- Delta Dental and Physicians Mutual. Delta Dental stated that they paid Smithtown Endodontics $80.00 because they are in-network with them, and Physicians Mutual stated that they paid Smithtown Endodontics $11.00 because they are in-network with them. Furthermore, Physicians Mutual stated that the root canal should have only cost me $785.00 in total because of the negotiated rates that Smithtown Endodontics has with them. Since I have already paid Smithtown Endodontics $1,200.00 in full, they should reimburse me the $80.00 that Delta Dental has also paid them for my visit, and the $11.00 that Physicians Mutual has also paid them for my visit. Furthermore, since Physicians Mutual stated that I only should have only been charged $785.00, Smithtown Endodontics should reimburse me the additional $415.00 that I paid. Therefore, I should be reimbursed in the amount of $506.00 in total, but Smithtown Endodontics refuses to reimburse anything.

Highly recommended. If you have fear of pain then this is the place to go.. NO PAIN whatsoever. Purely professional would give them 10 stars if I could!
